- Today we're looking at the comp beasts throughout Big Brother. We end it off by looking at the top 10 best competitors (in my opinion).
This is just my opinion, based on the amount of HOH and Veto wins each player has as well as taking into account the level of difficulty in the competitions as well as the players they were playing against.
Sorry some of the clips are loud, I messed up leveling the volumes correctly. Also, I don't know how that BB17 Johnny Mac clip slipped in there because I definitely meant for the clip to be of Steve and Vanessa but oh well, I can live with it.

Janelle Really has Left a mark on big brother. Not only does she have Many comp wins but she is the most liked player with the most wins. She won a lot and people loved her. The same can’t be said for Paul and Cody though.

Not sure why people didn’t like Paul. I admired how much he was able to be a puppet master & bully. Maybe I’m someone that admires a “villain”. But he wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty
@@tk-unc because Paul was a bully lol. Paul can be a villain but to bully houseguest is just nasty. What he said about people was nasty. Paul also talked about making fun of Dominique by doing black face. Like Paul legit is nasty.

It’s just because I feel like they thought he was a bully. He was a very scary player but I think as a person they just didn’t like him so I feel like the jury maybe took that into account 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

@Ben strrmeker I'd say Paul is a decent Big Brother player at best. What drags Paul down, IMO is the social play. If that was better, Paul may very well have won 2 seasons.

I can't even put Paul in the top 10, he played with a bunch of brainless players his 2nd season, if the stupid pendulum week 1 wasn't in play Cody would've evicted him week 1

@@carterhayes1995 Paul came out as using gender neutral pronouns (they/them). Makes the whole "Your boy" Paul thing a little crazy tbh
Also, I should say he only lost because of bitter juries. Yes he could've gone home week 1 in BB18, but Luck is just as much of a factor as the Physical, Mental and Social factors. Dr. Will has even come out and claimed this same thing, that no matter how good you are, without Luck you can never win Big Brother.
@@redkingdom15 of course luck is part of it but it's not luck when production gives you a free week of safety week 1, it's a cop out, also if Paul plays with a cast with half a brain he wouldn't have lasted close to the end

Michie loves competing more than treating women well….I actually forgot that conversation even happened though. But I could’ve sworn Alex and Josh won like 4-5 comps. Guess Jason and Paul just did that much more. Then again, that’s what I get for having BB19 being my first season.
I think both Josh and Alex won four competitions but when compared to Paul's 8 I found it unnecessary to include them, I could've briefly mentioned it though
Don't forget that Jerry's first HOH was literally handed to him. Before the HGs even entered the house they had to vote on who the first HOH would be. I feel like Jerry only got it because of his age lol
Honestly if Christian stayed he would been as a beast as Cody because he won 5 competitions by week 5
I’m shocked there’s no mention of Cody from BB19. Dude was a beast and if not for the sheep following Paul and the random twists that season I think he would’ve steamrolled.

I know BB22 isn’t anyone’s favorite but I have strong ties with it being that it aired as I was isolated in my home during COVID… I am bummed because AS2 should have been epic but c’est la vie I reckon

Love this list though I'd probably put Janelle at 1 and Cody at 2.

That was actually something I was thinking of doing, the three pillars of gameplay: physical, strategy, and social. But I do have a couple other videos coming out first before the other two

oh boy, well the four contenders are Demetres, Kevin Martin, Adam Pike, and Dane. Kevin Martin makes it into the top 5 probably as the number 4 spot ahead of Tyler, Demetres I'd put above Frankie and possibly above Jackson, not entirely sure, but he'd be around #6. Adam and Dane I'd have around the Kaycee Clark spot in 9th, but that's all just off the top of my head and they could be placed differently, that's just my initial gut reaction
Janelle had 2 more comp wins in BB 14. They were coachs comps but they gave her a veto both times. I think those definitely count if you count since you counted franks and shanes wins before the reset
Coaches comps were povs though!!
They were not players in the game during the coach’s comps - & it did not give them vetos it allowed them to keep a person on their team safe.
Frank by far was one of the most dominant, he was just a beast now granted ironically his weakness was physical comps mainly due to height but even still he won a good bit, can’t believe he trusted Dan though

Considering the quality of comp beasts they went up against, I gotta say I think Frankie is the best of all time in comps because his season had some insane competitors in it in Derrick, Cody, and Beast Mode Cowboy aka Caleb. Even the middling competitors in that season were actually pretty good like Nicole, Devin early, and Donnie. The quality of competition that people like Michael in 24 played just doesn't even come close to comparing to the people Frankie beat week after week.

So weird, I totally thought Rachel Riley killed the competitions way more often than that, especially in season 12. Maybe I'm just remembering her smack talking like a winner.
James won the veto for Sarah, but when he and Sarah were on the block, he won the veto by not realistically doing anything, but rather essentially having the veto handed to him the way that it played out, despite everyone trying to make him lose.

@@gqprince2 They can say that all they want, but I wouldn't be so sure. They both knew taking Cody would give them second place. They're both great players, and if they were in the position to cut Cody at F3, I fully believe they would've taken it. We'll never know though.
Side note - Do you know who the recruits are for bb23? ( That could also be a video idea “The history of big brother recruits”. )
I actually very very very much love that idea! Huge possibility I use that for a video. And I don’t actually know, my guess was maybe Travis and Whitney? I’m sure there are more informed people with information about that but those were just my initial guesses. I know Christie was one before she was replaced with Claire

I wish there were older people in these comments who've watched earlier seasons. The best competitors stemmed from the first 10 seasons. Most had to rely on strategy alone; whereas these new seasons have too many twists and the houseguests are usually sheep that vote with the house.
Totally agree with you! I miss BB of old…when people actually played the game and strategized to form real alliances (not just large groups of “popular/pretty” people) to steamroll their competition. These days BB seems like a huge popularity contest and a ploy to gain social media attention to become an “influencer” of some sort 🙄

I’d still put Janelle above Paul. He had like 5 free weeks with that stupid bracelet crap, a handicap ride or die ally who glued to him cause it’d guarantee her longevity and had that dumbest ppl who were looking to follow a cult. Janelle went up against the best of the best and pulled out 9 and took out will.
How fitting Janelle still can’t ever move past 3rd place and Paul can’t move past 2nd.

Derrick touched the block after not winning the final HOH (to Cody funnily enough). It was by default but still counts

He “touched” the block after losing the final HOH, as did Danielle Reyes, Jason Guy, Paul (kinda) and Enzo. Cody is the only person in the US who made it to the final 3 without touching the block and then went on to win the final HOH

@@jeremiahgoard2066 maybe bc the cast was too chicken shit to put him on the block so he was never able to play veto, and he wasn't in the house for that long. he won HOH, the battle back, safety comps, etc. his winning percentage was great.
@@eaglesdude25 like I said he barely won any comps. Percentage doesn’t matter it matters about the number of comps you won. Again he barely won hohs and vetos. It doesn’t matter if they put him on the block or not he didn’t win that many comps and that’s the bottom line.

This show has jumped the shark no doubt. I'm not gonna bother anymore. BUT I will still watch shit like this. The fact that Janelle couldn't even play for HOH every week makes her wins even more impressive.
Don’t forget Derrick in BB16 never touched the block and won. Cody is the second (I believe) winner to never touch the block!
Except Derrick didn't win that final hoh comp so he technically was sitting on the block on finale night when cody chose who to take him to final 2 with him. However, Cody won final hoh in all stars which makes him the only person in bb history to never touch the block and still win.

Not a fair list because a lot of people threw competitions. Especially in 19 because nobody wanted blood on their hands and Christmas was on one leg. If it was a competition for my life I’d take the marine Cody Nixon!

Don’t get me wrong I love janelle. She was so entertaining and a comp beast but other than that I feel like she didn’t really play an amazing game. She made sm decisions based on personal instead of game. And she let dr will control her the whole game in all stars. She was also kinda bitter in jury.

Janelle has 13 and Jackson has 8, or 9 if you count his safety comp win. If you’re counting single season, and you’re counting Jackson winning 9 competition, he only ties Janelles 9 she won in all stars
