Peter Kay is really good at remembering things and then reminding people of those things.
…genius.
I remember 2 guys on Bullseye as contestants - 2 single guys, lifelong friends to which Jim Bowen asked:
"You boys weren't in the Navy together were you?" - classic non-PC 1980s
0:05 - "It was shit and it were good" = best sums up all ITV game shows ever made.
Well, except Who Wants to be a Millionaire
Thought 3-2-1 was a con as could just change answer to riddle accordingly.
Love his Bully walking across the screen impression 😂😂😂😂
Absolutely on point with Bullseye. Always used to make me laugh when two hefty fellas from Wakefield or somewhere would win the 2-berth caravan.
What did you two when two others of a similar type and place won a speedboat?
@@eclectica1It was never mentioned on the show, but winning contestants could ask for a cash equivalent instead.
On a documentary about the show, a couple of guys said they won a car, then told that they could either wait for a newer model of said car to arrive or accept the cash equivalent of the model appearing on the show. They chose to wait for the new model, figuring out they could get more money from selling that.
Congratulations, you’ve won a speedboat
Cheers mate, I live in Walsall
Hahahaha oh my goodness, just nearly killed my laptop spitting my beer out, bet wishes
Any 'Child of the 80's can relate to this;
Absolutely 💯 % SPOT ON;
well not quite. He seems to have combined the prize board part and the gamble part at the end
@@HRHooChicken yea and jim was not smacked off his tits dancing, and what lol The guy just means you can remember back and
Forget it lol
He does a good jim bowen impression
His one of him on Phoenix nights is even better when he keeps saying sorry team in the outtakes 😂
And valerie
"for £4" 🤣🤣🤣
That's very nearly as good as a Blankety Blank chequebook and pen 👍
That walk peter does bringing on the speedboat had me crying with laughter 😃 i loved bullseye 🎯
Me too
Peter Kay is the only person i want hosting back Bullseye if it came back
Hilarious. As a Scotsman I can say Peter kay is Englands Billy Connelly 😂brilliant!!
Got tae agree wae you there pal
"For four pounds Valerie, can you spell hermaphrodite."
I nearly died laughing 😂😂😂
You just wanted to prove you could spell it lol
Peter is so accurate with both his impression of Jim and his delivery as to how Bullseye was presented. It's being repeated on satellite currently. Everytme I watch it now I think of this brilliant rendition. Iiiiiinnnnnn 1. Tony the D Davies. Lovely, smashing, great. Take your time. Prizes in the red segments. 101 or more.
"And Bullies special PRIZEEEEE!!" gets me every time 😂
Rest in peace Tony Green 😞❤
For years now this man could make people cry with laughing , he is a god given Genius.
Only a certain type of people.. mainly the people who are at the butt of his lame jokes
@@cityboy9301 I bet you find Michael McCintyre hilarious?
@@elenaescocia2479 no no no my dear... nothing is funnier than Ricky Gervais..
@@elenaescocia2479 Michael whatever his name is appeals to the chinless wonders of this world..this bloke appeals to those with many chins.
@@cityboy9301 Considering you call yourself a Gervais fan (which is no bad thing he is hilarious)i'm guessing you are now trying to impersonate him by trying to be somewhat offensive towards peter and michael's fanbase even though what you are talking about is utter shite. If you don't his comedy then don't watch his vids... simple as
Jim Bowen taught my father at school. I never believed it until he proved it to me.
This never fails to make me laugh, I can watch this one over and over again 🤣
That's really sad .
@@ednewcombe8362
No it's not
@@sarahm3263 then wipe your eyes ..all will be well ..
@@ednewcombe8362You’re clearly not well 🙄
'Listen to Tony'🤣😂
I've never seen Bullseye and I still crack up. That's the power of Peter Kay. 😂
Nothing on this Earth has been observed properly until it's been observed by Peter.
It's 40 quid Jim what's it in 2ps!!😂😂😂
Peter Kay and Bullseye you can't beat that mix Lol 😂
Its fair to say the Bullseye contestants weren't fashionistas, so funniest moment ever was when two blokes won the top prize - A collection designer clothing for the whole family
It will take me the commercial break to count it out 😂
i know some comedy snobs who don't rate Peter. But In terms of a well written comedy routine to appeal to the generation that grew up with this show this is almost flawless comedy
He's not just a stand up either, like any show he's done has been very well rated, Especially Phoenix nights.
It's bully with the dictionary that kills me.
Jim Bowen absolutely loved this.
I was born 1993 but I got all of this cause certain family members forced bullseye repeats onto me through the Challenge channel 😂 great show, Kay got it spot on 😂
Challenge was a great channel to watch on a sunday before bed to start a new school week
Used to watch all the old takeshi's castles on there, great channel
You’d need to be born in the ‘70’s and grew up in the ‘80’s to truly appreciate this
Best show ever to be screened on t.v...great...
I still do on Challenge, ol Nerys with her Deirdre Barlow Glasses struggling with the Spelling question till Bully comes on screen and sets things straight.
Sod all on TV again so it's the genius of Peter Kay over and over again you never get tired of this just brilliant
He’s truly amazing, such a talented man! One of the best!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I agree he is absolutely excellent
This man is so funny he's a national treasure
(Valerie) - Showbiz Jim, Showbiz
(Jim) - Showbiz you'd like, Showbiz you'd like, Showbiz Leanne
"Booooooooooooo"
Spelling You've Got, Never Mind
For £4
Has me in stitches everytime
Bullseye, catchphrase, generation game, big break there’s loads I remember from being a kids
Just about everything I used to watch on TV back in the early nineties 😃Also, Red Dwarf and Mr Bean. Those were really the days
How many kids?
Its the story of my life, 'Let's have a look at what you could've won'
As it is mine. Doesn't it just burn you so ferociously?
Peter should host the revival of Bullseye if they ever bring it back.
Edit: Yes, I know Dave Spikey did bring it back, but I think Peter would do just as good.
They already did, dave spikey did it.
He could make the weather funny, oops he already has
I doubt he needs the money
No I know what you mean, but it will never be the same without Jim...... The Master!
@@BRAVOROBINSON yeah but dave spikey did a shite job
Love Peter Kay one of the funniest if not best comics to come out of the uk in recent times hilarious live. max and paddy and Phoenix nights were something special too legend
Peter Kay, you are a genius. Bullseye was great. I used to love it, and I still watch all the repeated episodes, on my Television, on a channel, called Challenge. Thank you, for remembering my childhood.
Peter Kay along with the late great Ken Dodd have had me crying with laughter from the start to the end of their shows, only Ken would nearly kill you after five hours of laughter.
Audience with Ken Dodd one of the best show on TV
Hi to a fellow Raby
Len Raby, Totally agree with you. Ken Dodd an absolute genius. And boy could he sing too. Many of his theatre shows went hours past schedule.👍
@@susanhill8332 Doddy's shows did, he was famous for it, but he always paid the theatre staff for staying late.
@@mrlister2000 Yes I would think he would pay the theatre staff for staying late. The man was at his happiest on stage. Don't think he was terribly keen with paying the tax man though. 👍👍👍👍
Ha!! Just sat in B&Q carpark in Tamworth!!!! 'Pete's reyt, no sea 'ere!!
Peter recovered these recollections well.
His facial expressions make his stand up so much better what a funny funny man can watch him all day
I've already seen this like 10 times hahaha
Me too and I still laugh every time
Good name
Finally the best skit
Jim Bowen revealed not long before his death that the contestants never actually took any of the prizes home.
They were offered the cash equivalent, because the prizes were only for show as they didn't own them!
The Bendy Bully's were real though!
makes sense , image turning up at your mid terrace with a speedboat on your roof rack LOL
Hope this is true. Always thought the prizes were a bit odd!
@@vaan1520 It is true!
Imagine you live in a flat. How am I suppose to get speedboat in the lift😂😂😂
No this has ruined my memories of the show. I used to howl laughing at the unsuitability of the prizes, showing what they hadn’t won and the way the £40 jackpot was fanned out in £1 notes to make it look like it was worth winning. One of the worst yet funniest game shows ever.
"All the time in the world" - Tony Green
Peter come back you are the only one that makes me laugh more than when I watch true Geordie have a rage
Football hang overs
Jim Bowen used to teach PE at my school....1:50 I LOVED Bully walking across the screen with a dictionary.... 2:36, I ♥️ that you say £40, coz my lucky numbers 4 (I know, I'm a Weirdoooo! Lol!) Plus, I ♥️ Farah pants too!! Love Peter Kay and all the funny people I found thru' him, mainly Clinton Baptiste and Dave Spikey!✌️
Thank you Mr. Kay, you funny sod!! Kx PS. My mum's got the same name as one of those contestants too!!
For FCK saik pissing my self at 3am in morning hahahahaha 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 wow I can’t stop laughing 😂
I saw him live years ago - laughed so hard, I couldn’t breathe!
remember watching sunday afternoons still half pissed from a dinner time session
😂😂😂😂
I'm from Tamworth 😂 but moved 200 miles to live by the sea in Pembrokeshire 😅
Peter forgot the legendary catchphrase, "Keep Out Of The Black & In The Red, Nothing In This Game For 2 In A Bed ",.
"Kids won't have to suffer mum's Rola-Cola any more..."
What’s Rola-Cola?
@@mollykeane2571 cheap fake cocoa cola that tastes awful. It was the bane of every school kid in the UK in the 1980’s!
@@bugler75 Thanks...makes sense now.
Rola-Cola! Talk about a blast from the past. That stuff was grim.
@@bugler75 I remember making my young son do a blind test between Asda cola and Coke . He chose Asda ! I never let him forget it 😜😜😜
Watching the current TV drama "The Pembrokeshire Murders" I was reminded of Bullseye and how a killer was on there as a guest.
Peter Kay looks shinier than a Christmas bauble!
Am from Tamworth...love it
Miss him being on the t.v / stage soooooh much , what a guy
"Jim could see him"
Aye... so could we Peter. 😂
This was a gray sketch’ so funny he’s on point
I will never, ever get bored of watching Peter Kay. The funniest bloke I’ve ever seen 😂
Ribs broke every time I see this , what a talent this man is !
Used to love watching Bullseye on a Sunday afternoon/evening
Can't get enough lmao flipping brilliant.
Absolutely hilarious love Peter's comedy
Jim Bowen was just brilliant in Phoenix Nights. Solarium and a juckutsie just did me. RIP JB
I still watch bullseye to this day 😆Peter Kay captured that perfectly 🤣🤣
Hard to believe but i live in Ireland and on tv there's a channel named ( Challenge) and it's still showing repeats of Bullseye, peter kay nailed it about this show.
RIP Tony Green
Spot on with Jim Bowen 👌 Love this Man
Xx
priceless humour peter kay.
Bloody brilliant! That’s exactly how we used to view it. Great to be reminded courtesy of the Great Peter Kay. ……..keep going mate.
This guy is great wish I’d seen him live.
Brilliant comedy at its best i was laughing so much
Soda stream cola was very nice
Peter Kay is timeless!
The funniest thing I saw on bullseye was when Jim asked a contestant what he did for a living...the guy replied I'm on the dole and Jim said lovely, great, smashing 😂
Bloody love this man.
Have all the dvds 📀
God he makes me laugh 😆 😂
Great stuff, apart from the fact they played for the prizes first then gambled the prizes and the cash from the previous rounds against the star prize.
Love it every time. When my late grandparents came round, and rest of family, we ended up watching Saturday night TV and Bullseye's still one of the favourites.
Plus, those looks off camera e.g after "for four pounds..."
I have to rush you Valerie...Ihave to rush you son....
funny thing is the company that made the speedboats was based in Birmingham miles away from the sea and yeah the boat was free but you still had the cost insurance boat licence and all the stuff that goes with it
Absolutely Brilliant
Had to pause this to go look at an episode of Bullseye - Classic stuff! :-)
I was just watching an old episode of same, don't ask,Peter is brilliant !
I always liked the bit where they got a professional darts player on, (usually one you'd never heard of), to try and get 100 with 3 darts, and invariably they'd marginally fail by getting something like 89 or 95. Then bully would appear at the bottom of the screen and facepalm, thinking to himself, 'you useless bugger..'
Wasn't that bit always for charity?
@@daviniarobbins9298 D'you know, I think it was. It's been that long since I saw the show I can't remember now.
The 101 is with 6 darts to win the star prize at the end and it's the contestants. The professional darts player needs to get 301 or more with 9 darts for it to be doubled for charity.
It was 301 with 9 darts. Who needs correct details anyway?
These are fantastic memories, Peter.
We’ve all loved the memories, Peter.
Thanks for making me laugh
Another brilliant video from Peter Kay
peter kay is number one comedian old school is the best.
I WASNT THAT KEEN ON PETER KAY BACK IN THE DAY, I WAS A MASSIVE LEE EVANS FAN, OH HOW WRONG WAS I? KAY IS AN ABSOLUTE GENIUS 😂👌🏼
Lee Evans is also funny
@@philicon353 YH MY FAVOURITE, LIVE AT WEMBLEY HAD ME IN TEARS AND A LITTLE BIT OF WEE CAME OUT! 😂
best bit of comedy ever done
Bullseye is on Freeview again.
Peter is spot on.
It was so bad - it was good!
Especially when Jim asked questions like:
"Now, Arthur, for £3 what is the capital of England?"
Arthur, after a long pause:
"Edinburgh, Jim."
"Well, Arthur, that's a good answer, but it's wrong." 😂
Fcking hilarious!!
Peter Kay is a legend. The likes of totally unfunny Jimmy Carr etc have nothing on this genuinely down to earth guy.
Jimmy Carr isn't even funny with his fake ass Fu laugh
"Who remebers this? Wasn't it great, but shit?" Peter Kaye's entire act.
Takes me back to all those visits to my grans house, it's all that was on 🤣
All so very true
Stone washed denim and maroon shell suit 80s fashion eh!!!.😁😁😁..Ya cant beat a bit of Bully.....🤣🤣🤣 Epic keep them coming makes my bloody day...😄😄
