I have a cousin who never studied much,we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than studies after writing Asvab, she passed and I failed😣, I asked her how she did it, just found out she got her help from Mr Thomas ..
I'm 40 years old, and my kids and I have been homeless for 3 years living in my car at a cemetery. Shelters were full, no family. My kids' dad was in prison again for the 3rd time. I was working a job that barely got us by. I know I needed to change something. I had scored a 21 on the practice test without studying and an 89 on the actual test. I'm now a nurse in the Navy! Thank you for all your words. I needed another push in the right direction.
@@MrzBadaBing I love reading your guys comments. really happy for y'all, I'm 26 and just decided to join the marines and am currently practicing for the asvab.
I’m being evicted tomorrow 😢 I have 4 children. I took my practice asvab test today and scored 32 🎉 I pray the actual test is easy and I pass with flying colors! My family and I need this change more than ever! I want to go to school for nursing or finance 😊❤🎉
Who ever reading this dont give up🙏it took me 5 try's and today i finally passed My asvab and this the best feeling looking at everything i can finally do.i was gone give up myself and something told me don't and it paid off🎉
I took my exam today and passed!!!!!!!! To all the listeners getting ready to take the Asvab test. Understand the reason more than the question and answer. It will take you a long way. I went to different tutors for the course work but listening to all these videos over and over and over really helped me get it. The test fully tries to trick you. You'll breeze through the question and look at an answer you think is right. It's not 50% of the time. Really take the time to read the question just like Thomas said. I passed my exam on the first try!!!!!
What's scary is that this is closer to the actual test on Any of the online study puides, apps,or even the asvab for dummies .i was Completely shocked When i took the test last week, because almost NOTHING I studied was helpful Hopefully this time l'll do better.
Thomas ,i reached out to him 3 weeks ago, thou i was scared after I made payment to him ,few hours he emailed me questions and answers and those questions and answers are the exact ones i saw on my test day
When you’re good people talk about you. I’m happy I came across Mr Thomas, I was a single mother struggling with Asvab exams now I can testify how good and reliable his services are .
Without Mr Thomas I would still be in abject poverty struggling with my life, that’s the greatest testimony gotten so far after years of great loss here on RUclips, I do thank him and I am grateful.

I am a new immigrant, just one year in the US, and my English is very poor. However, becoming an American soldier has been my dream all along. I felt like a complete idiot for the first time when I took the ASVAB test for the first time and got a score of 3. But I persisted and studied for three months, now my practice test scores have increased to 20. I believe I will succeed in my second test because I am learning with tears of effort
Good going brother! Same here I came here last summer from Japan, spent a year here now just working full time at a Walmart and just trying to occupy my days and I just feel empty and without a real purpose. I really don’t know what the hell im doing here in the us but I don’t wanna go back to my home country. I recently took a practice test issued by an officer too and yeah mine was low too I felt extremely low and stupid. But I’m 36 years old and I want to really dedicate my life to a purpose and something I can be confident in. Let me know how it goes with you. As for me I’m still trying to find the courage and dedication and determination to make this my dream.
I'm so glad I watched this video. The next step in my military journey is MEPS. I still need to take the ASVAB test and I've always struggled with studying. I'm joining for my fiancé and so I can afford to go to college. Like you said, highlight my reason for joining. My biggest reason for joining the military is her, so I can give her a life I know her father would approve of. This lit a fire under my ass and made me realize that this decision is important and this test will determine what I do for the next four years. If I want to give her the best life possible, I need to figure it out. At first my goal was above a 50 but now I want to score a 99. I've been watching your videos and each one makes me more confident about my decision. You've honestly guided me throughout my decision when it comes to the marines and I've been able to say I'm fully committed. Thank you. I wish I could express how much you've helped me. - Evan
Bro. This will be the hardest advice that you will ever hear. And I strongly mean every word I am about to tell you. Im a 8 year Army Infantry Enlisted Soldier. I love being in. 60% of the time in sucks ass but the 40% we actually are out doing our job or training is worth it. However, going in for a fiancee never works out. I've been there. My best buds have been there. Relationships fail in the military (unless you're an officer) because of many factors, but here are the common ones; -when you are in the field the fat wives club encourages her to finally go have drinks at the club on post. There you find jodie. The POG in the rear with one mission and that is to bag any fresh faces. -When you're in the field the rear support Sgt will be there to "help her adjust" to all of a sudden being ripped from her hometown, and he is an emotionally well-hung, available male who is giving her the attention she needs. -She is left all alone on a base with thoughts that you are 100% screwing some hot female soldier in a trench, and wants to get revenge by sleeping around on you. -She cant figure out why you cant just call in sick to spend time with her. -She spent all of your paycheck on her side piece, bounced checks, and you are the one with bad credit, debt, and an article 15 for bounced checks at AAFES (your personal finances are not personal fyi. Your CO will know when you bounce a check or miss a payment). -You come home from a 13 month tour in Iraq to see you have a new baby girl she swears is yours, that you will pay child support for until the JAG officer finally gets off his ass to prove you were gone 12 out of the 9 month she was pregnant. And the baby is brown. You're pigmentally challenged. Go in without her on your mind. Get through bootcamp. Tag that ass at graduation. Get to your new duty station. Wait 6 month before moving forward with marriage. You need this time to adjust to military life. You may even find a better soulmate out there and realize you dodged a bullet; because she was just a familiar comfort but not the right person. If you want the GI Bill you need to complete your enlistment. Having a fiancee/wife on day one will hurt your goals if you are under 20 years old and still learning what you want from life. Oh, she can get her college degree while you are in the military. You get to come home smelling like ballsack and filth, exhausted, to see her dolled up going to class telling you she has a study group later, there's a hot pocket in the toaster for you....
My son is 17 years old and he took his ASVAB today for the marines March 19, 2024 and he got a score of 19. He arrived discouraged and I told him not to give up. He told me to come back in April. I shared the video with him. I think he needs it. I'll be back to tell you in April what score I got. Thank you for your video.
Bro this video hit different, not because of motivation, but because I want something differently in my life, but i never do anything different, this is the time to get dedication and discipline in my life, thank you for this video Brother.
randomly found this while researching air force stuff. I bullshited the ACT and was forced to go to community college. I have always been smart, so I didn't have to try most of school and came out with solid grades. but the test was different, and I hated having to go to a bs college when I knew I could do more. Now I am currently working both physically and mentally on becoming a PJ in the air force. I really appreciate the video. Thank you for your service!
@therightone6353 girl the way ppl be telling me the military treat them I be scared🤣🤣🤦🏾♀️ But I'm going back to college now...Maybe I will change my mind after I graduated
Been stressing about taking the ASVAB for years now, while having on and off conversations with an AF recruiter. Finally buckled down and have been studying the last 2 months, fairly consistently. Took the ASVAB today and got a 78 :) Appreciate your encouraging words and motivation Taylor. PS I'm old, 35 lol.
I would say 6 days a week 2-5 hours a day. Depending how much time you have before you take the ASVAB. I crammed 90 hours of studying in 3 weeks. 30 hours per week. 30 minutes is too minimal but i agree with everything else you were saying.
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this video. It truly spoke to me and told me alot about myself. When you mentioned being dedicated and having real discipline it made me realize how much i bullshit when im supposed to be thriving. We all need that, so thanks again ! God Bless !
Youre the best person ive ever watched on youtube, this is some if my exact reasons why i have tried and failed..i feel like you are speaking directly to me, thank you
My grandson leaves tomorrow for MCRD boot camp- he scored 98 on his ASVAB, has been working so hard on his physical training and has improved from 0 pull ups to 12 now! I’m so so proud of him for even wanting to join the Marine Corps, he’s a great kid! 1:03

I want this so bad it's always been my dream and before I go I want to be able to say I did it thank you for your words hoorah
You are so correct. I studied for 3 months 5 hours daily while working as a director with crazy hours. I gave up my social life for 3 months but it was worth it. I did my confirmation test and got a 69
@maryiyere2792 I have questions if you score higher in the conformation test than your previous score will you keep the new high score I am about to retake my asvab conformation because my test is 60 and if I score 90 will I kept the 90?
Taylor thank you very much for your advice it makes me much more motivated and determined to pass the asvab with an extraordinary GT score, I'll come back to thank you after the results hoping that the MAVNI program continues. HOTS OFF
I picked this video on a random whim and it turned to have everything I needed to hear. I graduated HS in 2021 and have been putting off a military career in hopes of an easier route to the life I want. It now seems obvious but if I want to get where I’m headed I need to put in the required work to get there. I’m going to let this video serve as catalyst and I WILL come back to it to announce what MOS I have achieved thanks to my eyes being opened here.
I’m passing with a perfect score. It’s currently December 16th 2024. I’m 18 years old. After new years I plan to enlist. I’ll do more research of what branch and job I’m looking for but currently it’s Air Force, that being said I personally want to have the most impact of my generation intelligence wise. Though I never took high school seriously, it’s all in the past. Today I start my journey to becoming the best intelligence operator on this planet. No matter what.
Asvab is getting tougher each day I can't believe I failed again on my third trial Am having alot of difficulties on the math aspect it's really frustrating
Thank you for this. I'm 29, be 30 in less than a year. Was always fond of the military since middle school. Put it off for too long and now in a low point in life that I need to turn around. Going forward having my reason for joining on my desk and a better perspective, I WILL follow through. Even if it takes over a year which it very well could for physical reasons. Sometimes you don't need to hear how to study or how to do X, you need to know WHY. Excellent video.
Thanks for sharing!! We just made an asvab test prep video too, but ours is more specific about words. Yours was great to listen to about things I wouldn't have even thought of. Thank you!
This is one of the best videos i’ve seen. Completely different attitude than other youtubers dude got me fired up lol. Making my best effort to become a Sailor.
thanks man, being real and calling me out for slacking, been studying for a week now 1hr a day but you got me to realize i need 3-5 hours. felt like you were really talking to me. thank you sir i’ll let you know in a couple months
Ugh needed this! I passed the 1st time, kinda bs studying and granted I still past but focused more on electronics then math which was my mistake. I could have done better considering I've been out of high-school for 14 years now. Been putting in work and actually enjoying and learning math which I hated back in hischool. Going in and aiming high next week! Thanks Taylor for the motivation and definitely taking your advice. 🤘
Prior marine looking to commission when I graduate this may. This video is really inspirational, giving a fuck is probably the most impactful thing you can do for yourself. Even now I have times where I just half-ass some of my assignments in college. But when you look ahead and think that what you do now is what is going to lead to your next step in life, that's when life really hits you hard and you start getting your head in the game. Great video brother, we all need a nudge in the right direction sometimes. Rah
I'm going to take Real ASVAB this coming Monday and I want to thank you for the words of encouragement, I am determined to pass my test with a great amount of discipline and I'm going to study really hard hours on end and get the knowledge that I need to pass.
Im glade you posted this video watching it and you drilling that knowledge of successes in my head makes me want it more, im in the process of joining the marines right now all my brothers wanted to join and but gave up and never went back now they are in their 30s working everyday jobs come home smoke weed and play games, im 23 and i want to become a marine i want to wear that uniform with pride and honor knowing that i put in the work and achieved what ive always wanted since middle school i slacked off in high school and i wish i didnt cause i probably would have learned something, i went to meps 2 months ago took asvab and scored 15 i studied hard everyday couple hours a day and last month i went back and scored 23 after studying, i felt so damn bad cause i wanted to swear in but my recruiter said dont give up go back and studying one more month and get 8 more points man and you will be in score higher if possible but get those extra 8 points no excuses, now im studying more this month so when i go back at the end of this i pass i want this and my brothers told me i cant do it makes me want it more i can do this man i can become a marine
That’s a great reason to want to better yourself. Don’t be like others and have regrets or settle. You know what you need to do so what’s stopping you from doing it?
Today I'm trying to get an idea on how to start and found your video. Now, this is my challenge to you, in a month I'll be coming back in here and tell you I passed it. And if I didn't ill be 100% honest and nahhhh I can pass it for sure. Wait me in a month starting today.
Thank you Tayler. Am 39 and am in a very short bracket but your video definitely helped me Jump start my purpose. I will come back here and write down my score When am done.am Looking for the Air Force.
i thank you so much , because i watched this video back in june and i was struggling so bad, i watched this video and it made me change my whole perspective on absolutely everything on the military and what i really wanted out of it. thank you and million times. it took me my third time to finally pass. and honestly if i wouldn’t have stumbled along your video i honestly don’t know what i would’ve done. your words helped me tremendously you have no idea. thank you again 🥰!
I bought 4 notebooks today to study and revise subjects that I’m lacking in. I’m 100% sure I’m gonna do it this year, it’s been my dream since I was a kid.

Awesome video, I enlisted into the Marines in 1982 and retired in 2005 and now my kid is interested in the Air Force and as I am helping her understand the ASVAB, I came across this video and man very motivational. I just forwarded the link to her and I am confident that this will boost her morale. Thank you devil dog! Will keep you posted - Semper Fi
You should be more proud about yourself for this video . I'm lucky enough to watch this video . I failed the asvab test one , but soon I'll knock it down I will pass I will pass Thanks so much
Got a 9 on my practice test at the recruiting office so I picked up the Asvab for dummies book and so far it’s helping me understand more that I need to know and it has pointers on how to breakdown questions, going back in a few days to test again after studying for a week
That you Taylor Yontz. Everything you said in this video was unfortunately relatable, I was looking for different outlets to better my situation because I didn't do well on my first go at the ASVAB test. I felt like God lead me to this video to help me understand that I have a purpose in life and that the things you want in life come with a price. After watching this I was given a serious reality check and now it's time to man the fuck up and put in the work to get the things I want in life. I know that after watching this video I am most definitely passing the test with a way better score than last time, and when I do I will come show to everyone that the saying "I Can't" is not a option.
I am 33 and passed my practice test but want a higher score I am going to get the book today and study with these tips he gave here !! I hope I have good news to tell you guys in two months
This has got to be one of the best motivation videos I've seen. I'm going to be a junior (in HS) after summer so I've still got a couple years but this video has helped motivate me for working out. I wanna join the Marines, so I've got a lot of work to do. So thank you.

Yes sir thank you, I needed this and I'm glad I clicked on your video first I am studying for the Marine, and I need a 74. I am going to work my hardest on this, it will change my life for my children and myself. Thank you for this video.

I really enjoyed this video, i know exactly what you mean by temporary motivation, you're right its about dedication. I know this is what i want to do and i always get discouraged because i am having to work on losing weight at the same time... its been rough. Im so glad i found this video.
Do prior service Marines have to retake the ASVAB? Airwinger (6062) 2009-2014. Older and wiser now, looking to lat move to a different MOS. Awesome to see vids like this around now. They weren't around when I first joined! 😅
Coming back here to talk about how this video helped me. When I first watched this I was just doing nothing and knew I had to study for the ASVAB but didn’t want to so made the excuse “I’ll watch a informative video to help me for the test”. So boom I watch this video and hearing you say how a lot of us are going to fail and not do what it takes to be better really hit home for me. I never looked at myself and person who falls into the lesser percent of things I always wanted to on the up side so I knew I had to prove you wrong and prove myself right that I don’t fit into the category of people who just mentally cannot make themselves do something of importance. Ngl though study didn’t get serious at first, I was still in high school when this video dropped and I was a very good track star so I was running track meets back to back and going to school and work on top of that so the ASVAB was the last time on my mind. Even with all that stuff I knew deep down that there’s no excuse if I score low. Last ASVAB I took I scored a 46 and needed a higher score for the job I wanted in the Air Force. Deep down I knew I wasn’t doing what I supposed to get the job I wanted and I thought to myself “would I go to a track meet without practicing that whole week?” And the answer was hell no I knew if I didn’t step up for the meet those boys would roll me. I took that same approach for the ASVAB. No matter what I made time, it was my last year of high school everyone had all type of end of the year stuff; I went to only the important ones like prom but everything else was missed because I knew I needed to put time into the ASVAB. I finally took the ASVAB again two days ago and score a 61 this time and qualified for the job I wanted and many more. I truly believe if you didn’t make me hold myself accountable and understand that I have the power to make or break myself I wouldn’t have score that high or better yet might’ve dropped because I probably would be so rusty and not know what to do. I figure I share this in case if anyone thinks they cannot, you can it just takes time. As my recruiter would say learn how to crawl, then walk, and finally run.
@josephrochefort9989 a 100 isn’t even bad the gt score requirement for officers is just a lil too high imo it should be like 100 to like maybe 105 max depending on officer mos especially if you already finished college
How do I get better honestly? Every time I take my asvab I’m only 2 points below requirements even after a long term of studying //: I think my main problem is math or science mechanics is difficult for me even though I do HVAC… any help? Imm trying for Marines

@@marsvolts union test prep.

Do it to give a better life to her, but also do it for yourself, to get commitments in life, good luck with your test brother.
@@yeffry thank you brother

I took it today I got a 60
@josephrochefort9989 nice I am bummed I got a 109 gt score tho cuz I was only 1 point away from a 110
@josephrochefort9989 a 100 isn’t even bad the gt score requirement for officers is just a lil too high imo it should be like 100 to like maybe 105 max depending on officer mos especially if you already finished college
What are you recourse to get that score?
GREAT VIDEO! GREAT MESSAGE & OUTSTANDING DELIVERY! Thank you for your service.
How do I get better honestly? Every time I take my asvab I’m only 2 points below requirements even after a long term of studying //: I think my main problem is math or science mechanics is difficult for me even though I do HVAC… any help? Imm trying for Marines

I’m trying to join the Marines and this video motivated me a lot. I studied for 2 weeks straight and got a 79. I might try to go Recon. We will see, thank you, brother.
Also wanted to mention that every other video I watched was monotonous, this is what I actually needed to help me more than any of these other people could’ve done.
What did you use to study?
@@marsvolts union test prep. If you possess strong paragraph-reading skills, an adept understanding of paragraph context, and a good vocabulary like me, I would strongly advise dedicating a few weeks to delving into Arithmetic Reasoning and mathematics without a calculator. Personally, concentrating on these areas proved to be beneficial for me.
@@marsvolts I wasn’t able to, but I would also advise in taking the PICAT, instead of the ASVAB.
Do you need help
Bro is talking straight to me
