PLEASE NOTE; The event on Feb 8th will still be going ahead but Arundel Licensing Committee have blocked us screening the documentary at the venue. We are currently fighting this blatant prejudice and have a plan B and plan C in place.
Please like, comment and share if you believe that prejudice shouldn't exist and that draconian laws which rely on one persons definition of a word is wrong.

Poor show! How dare they, have they still got a rod up their arse from all that time ago?! They act like little children fighting for some kind of supremacy over something that eventually will have no control over. And these idiots are the people who make decisions on our behalf. Personally, i would threaten them with legal action, im sure they wouldn't have a leg to stand on and as soon as you mention 'legal action' they will back down as they are not allowed to be seen to be spending public money on cases that are an obvious waste of eveyone's time. I knew Mensa from my Inner Rhythm record shop days and yes this film is deserved of a man who made a difference to a lot of peoples lives. I support you all way guys, dont let the 'man' put you down, they couldn't then and they can now!

very unhappy to find this is what happened. I've been waiting for this documentary to become public.. only to find out west Sussex council and police ciboshed it the whole thing!! I wanted to come along to the gathering in Bognor but sadly couldn't make it..
i remember going to the last night at Sterns and in the weeks leading up to that reading about all of the problems with the police and council pulling their license. I promote club shows now in London and we are still faced with the same problems today, the authorities conservative influence making it extremely difficult to hold late night time events, especially if they are deemed to be electronic based. Its very sad to hear that this screening could possibly not go ahead as intended because of licensing intervention. The licensing officers will know full well that if they put enough pressure on the venue they'll have no choice to go with their wishes with the threat of loosing their license hanging over their heads. What they also know is that legally the venue is doing nothing wrong so unless legal action is threatened in return they'll get away with it. our government's policies are archaic, 20 years later after Sterns shut our supposable 24 licensing 'life style' is a myth.

Best thing to happen to West Sussex police was the removal of Martin Richards, it's just a real shame that the rest of the police corruption didn't go with him.
