I was just cleaning the little holes of the speaker of my iPhone , thinking that the left side was a speaker too, the sound improved, but no sound out of the left side, I thought I damaged the “speaker”. A good thing I found your very clear and helpful video. Thanks again man.
Just spilled some drops of coffee near the speaker grill and after wiping it, checked to see if my speakers were working. Imagine my surprise when i find no sound coming from the left side.. glad it wasnt due to my coffee
I just spend 30 mins looking for solution because when I asked my wife if her speaker was working she said yeah sound coming out of both… I found this video then went to her phone it wasn’t she just thought it played
The Left Speaker would in theory be the phone earpiece on top next to selfie cam and the right one would be the bottom speaker he covers first in the video. The "Left Speaker" demonstrated is the mic for phone calls. The video is dragged out for monetization purposes.
Is this the same for iPhone 11 as well !! As today I dropped my phone luckily it was in a small bag but I am now scared that my left speaker is broke 😭 please tell me I’m wrong and that it’s a microphone??
To put if simple, it’s not a flaw. It’s a mic on the left and a speaker on the right. Don’t waste money trying to fix it, you’re good
