Surely the screen is defective. Making it that red would be crazy. Either defective screen or a software bug that means you can't turn off reading mode even though it says it's off.
I've been using it for the last few weeks and honestly it performs very well. For my use case so far it's great. My screen isnt orange so not sure whats happening to your unit.

@@BobiVan1 For me it's very easy. The Pad 6 has the toy 16:10 aspect ratio that most android tablets have, so it's rubbish for reading. The OnePlus Pad Go has the much better 7:5 aspect ratio that is similar to the iPad Pro aspect ratio. I don't want the one with the toy aspect ratio, so the OnePlus easily gets my vote.
Here are some: Xiaomi pad 5 pro 12'4 (12'4 , €330+€80) Tab s7 fe (12'4 , €400+pen included) Xiaomi pad 6 (11'0 , €300+€80) Tab s6 lite (10'4 , €220+pen included) You could probably also find the tab s7 plus (12'4) in almost new condition at just around your budget. There's also that new 11.5 huawei pad specialized for artists with an insane pen and display, aswell as a dedicated procreate clone which destroys all the ones mentioned above, no idea how to buy it though lol. Samsung has a better pen but worse performance which you'll only notice when using a bunch of layers or drawing on a large canvas

What weak soc uncle i played alien isolation on this tab smooth 40ish fps in most scenarios and played almost all Netflix games, grish any other story based games and it handles cloud gaming nicely

You'd think they could shave some of the price by getting rid of the camera and put those savings towards upgrading something else. Nobody with half a brain uses a tablet camera.
@@gutwallst6645 Even without the orange screen the specs are pretty much the same as the Amazon tablet, but it's more expensive. FireOS does suck but you can install the Google Play store in minutes and then the FireOS doesn't really matter. It's not a separate OS, it's still Android.

The price seems a little silly, when compared to the Xiaomi Pad 6 or Honor Pad 9. I'd imagine that the price will quickly drop.
