well shoot guys i seems like the other half of the video was not uploaded with this video and i cannot reupload because i deleted all the footage due to low memory on the PC.
After pouring in the new oil you have to run it through the gears for the fluid to go through the trans and check the fluid in Neutral while the car is idling!
That cool, you did a really good job with the first half though.
Sir how much quantity we should pour for transmission oil change
2009 Hyundai accent manual trans 84k miles runs and rides like new
always get manual if u want them to last more with less issues
I agree with you on that one bro. But this is moms car so it is what it is.
@@BulliKid yea i got u
u guys still have it is it still good?
Yeah we still got it. It’s running but it had some emission issues
@@BulliKid aha ok I hope u guys be able to fix it for cheap good luck
Thanks for the straight-foward video. I have a 2008 Accent with 65K and this will be her first drain. Already I’m sensing some transmission issues, like on cold mornings and shifting is rough. I don’t know if that’s normal but I’m looking forward to this job. And I agree with you, if I hit 100K miles without serious repairs, I’ll consider myself lucky. Thanks again.
No problem! Goodluck!
I know Im kinda randomly asking but does anyone know a good site to stream new series online ?
@Brandon Paul I dunno I'd suggest flixportal. You can find it if you google :D -allan
@Allan Jad thanks, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) Appreciate it !
@Brandon Paul Happy to help =)
My boyfriend just accidently drained my 2007 Hyundai accent with 185,000,000 miles on it, so thanks for the simple video!
No problem!
185 million 😂😂
185000
I have a 2010 Hyundai Accent GS Manual Transmission, it has 121,000 miles on it. Never had any transmission problems as of yet.
Manual trans makes all the difference!
@@BulliKid How so, just asking
Less components and failure parts. Just clutch and gear synchros.
Thanks for the video. It's a fantastic how to. Love the tip about counting the seconds to calculate flow volume.
I've got a 2010 accent and it's still going strong at some pretty hard140k miles. Still shifts like butter. Going to change the trans fluid soon to keep it fresh
What fluid will you use
@@BulliKid I've read around in forums that and seeing your suggestion that the oem fluid is the way to go; either that or some Valvoline max life
I think I’m going to go with maxlife next time around. See how it shifts.
@@alejandropadilla3511 my Accent is also a 2010 with like 128k hard miles as well. I'm gonna follow the recommended SP-III I picked up 4 bottles at the Kia dealer today. Best of luck to you.
280k miles and mine still hits 110 and runs nice
Impressive!
280 km?
280;000 miles = 450.000 kilometers
0:45 yeah Honda transmission don't hold up when you go cheap. Not sure about other companies because I've always worked on Hondas and my Hyundai hasn't needed a change yet but it's coming up soon.
I got a 2008. Only problem I’ve had is the transmission slipping after teaching a relative for approx. 15 hours of forward/ reverse for his parking test. Other than that, car runs fine. 179,500 miles.
thats great !! car is good to you!
I used the Idemitsu SPlll with zero problems. But I also changed the filter as well
Idemitsu?
What year and what engine
09 1.6L
@@BulliKid 👍🏽
the 6.4q was most likely pan drop+ torque converter drain
Grâce à vous je fais toutes les maintenances moi même
I love draining my fluids cause I get to see if anything going on in there
ThAts always true! It’s like the blood in us. The cleaner the better!
Merci beaucoup pour ses vidéos très explicatifs
3:25 yummy brown fluid. I've never seen fluid that dark on the first 50k Miles. I think your friction plates are worn out but I couldn't say why. My fluid is at 70k and it's just starting to get that dark. Also the 2nd shift jurk for me is 3rd shift jurk and only happens when shifting to 3rd accelerating over 65mph up hill.
having that same problem with my 2nd and 3rd. hopefully this fixes it! 71k miles
I'm driving Accent GLS 4 door sedan which has 4 speed automatic transmission but mine needs 5.3 quarts of ATF-SP-III fluid to and a filter kit.
I have to replace the filter next time I do it.
@@BulliKid Please, make a video about it once it's time to replace it. ☺️
I sure will!
hello. What year is your Hyundai????
What is the aluminum case behind this trans oil pan. It also has a drain plug ? Do u know
That’s just the trans housing. No drain bolt there.
My 2006 Kia Rio has 180k miles. Man, I can tell you that they generaly start to deteriorate right after the 5 year/100k miles warranty is up. The car is full of electrical issues, lifter ticks, sluggish transmission, failed catalytic converters, etc. I have maintained the car very well, so the problems were not caused by me. I am just waiting for something major to fail on it, so I can get another car.
Amen! This trans is so sluggish. Suspension is garbage. Just wish I had a Toyota lol
@@BulliKid My 30K mile GS rides like crap. The struts are shot lol so was debating putting on some cheap aftermarket ones. I did that with my Prius and it felt like a new car again.
@@billbosch9127 same here. I was thinking about buying ebay spring shock combo. My fronts are shot at like 5ok
@@BulliKid I bought mine off ebay. Fully assembled, just bolt on...no compressing springs and get my jaw ripped off if I do it wrong. LaSalle brand?
Feedback?
Any idea if the process is same for 2002 Getz?
Does it really have to be removed by portions? i dont understand that part.
I like the yellow film on fog lights is that stock? Im pimping out Alys hyundai elantra too i like the look I'm gonna do the same for her which film is that?
It’s film and it was some left over that my buddy had. Just any film will do! It held up great for like 8 years now.
My car has 170000 miles and relatively few problems.. although I think it needs a transmission flush now.
is it the same process for a 2009 Accent?
Yes this is a 09 also
good night. Who knows if the 2006 Hyundai accent is the same. According to information I found on Google, it tells me that it uses SP3 but I'm not sure if it only uses two and a half quarters. Who knows????
Yes sp3
About Honda, does your rule apply to manuals? I know from car meets them Honda Boys love that GM synchromesh vs their factory fill.
Great video though, was able to replace the fluid for a friend. Thank you man
Manuls you can use aftermarket fluids no problem.
Drop the pan and change the filter
Is it ok to use mobis sp iii transmission oil for Hyundai accent 2008 model automatic??
If not what's the best oil to use?
I just looked into this. They say valvoline max life atf is very good and compatible and many have good results. But dealer charges 7.20$ a quart by me so that’s not too bad for oem stuff
@@BulliKid so ATF mobis is a good choice for the car?
@@mohammedyalferjany9331 I’m not sure on mobile. Didn’t hear anything from anyone.
If sp3 is listed as compatible I don’t see why not.
Very helpful, thank you.
i got a 2004 hyundai accent i hope this works 🙏🏿
Goodluck!
I got a 2009 Hyundai Accent gls and just bought it had two owners before me I honestly don’t know what alls been done before me but my car shifts kind of hard not like hard but almost like a jerk but everyone tells me it’s fine and that it’s actually a good thing but anyways I’ve never changed it I do check to make sure it has fluid would it hurt to change it I mean can it make it start messing up if I do this my car has 103000 miles on it and actually drives good or should I just leave it alone and just make sure it has fluid
I would do a drain and refill
@@BulliKid let me ask ya one more question did doing this help with your car shifting into 2nd
I can’t say for sure. Very similar. I’m due for another change and will probably use valvoline next time around.
@@BulliKid okays thanks bro appreciate it
@@BulliKid hey I got another question what is the part called on the 2009 Hyundai Accent so if ur looking at ur engine it’s like literally right below the transmission dipstick it has a bolt on it I had a rat chew throw a wire so I got a loose wire and I was doing a oil change yesterday and finally found where the wire is supposed to go it connects to whatever part is pretty much right u see the dipstick
Can you use volvoline maxlife oil fluid instead of Oem fluid?
I have heard a lot of people using the max life and having good results. I have not tried it yet.
@@BulliKid thank you
@@haroldvelasquez9185 if you do happen to try it let me know how it works out for you.
I have a 2012 Hundi Accent my ca engine light flashing on and off the battery light comes on when I pick up speed I had a friend check the battery it's ok and the alteraner is too when I slow down the ca hurls me and the battery light will flash on and off.
Jurks me around like it was too stall out
So you have any ideas
It sounds like alternator.
@@BulliKid I had it checked it reads on the machine it was hooked up and it was alright
@@BulliKid I tho1 the alteraner but it's ok
You really should have the car level it
Yes, yes
Where's the rest of the video
Read pinned comment.
Well I am not understand this I need some ideas on what it could be.
This is Bonnie thank you for your video it was my spark plugs and lots of acorns got too help and spit shined my engine.LOL Ty
I have a 2008 Hyundai accent with 128210 , 2003 Hyundai accent hatch back with 326000 miles on it that still runs with regular maintenance and a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe with 272271 all 3 are bulletproof. The dude that had the car before you must have drove it like s*** or something. I've never seen a Hyundai have any major issues. Except for the 2013 models and on . Those are over designed trash at some point Hyundai decided to start doing to much for the type of car they're selling and got in trouble.
So did this drain and fill help with ur shifting
Maybe just a little.
@@BulliKid I’m scared to do a drain and fill on my 09 Hyundai Accent I want to so bad tho scared transmission might start slipping
@@famo6225 how many miles
@@BulliKid close to 104,000 the fluid is kind of brown but it doesn’t have a burnt smell or anything yet
Change it.
I had one of these cars for 10 years 125k and I never had these kinds of issues
I guess this is a lemon
2013 Hyundai same as yours?
No 2013 I believe is different
What about the filter?
Filter I’ll drop the pan for that and replace everything next time.
@@BulliKid yeah I just changed mine it looked as if it was oil.
Hyundai transmissions can fail on a dime I've done it before lol thankfully Alys is almost 100k and still pulling strong!
Good stuff! These things are so soft I feel like one neutral drop and it’s toast!
KIA transmission's too, since they share a lot of the same parts and the same production factory. I got 180k on mines and the transmission is doing okay. It is a bit sluggish and slips going into every gear but it is still trucking along; I'd highly advice installing a separate transmission cooler also, heat is the number 1 killer of automatic transmissions.
i have 08 MT and theres no dip stick
MT don’t have dip sticks. It’s like a rear diff. Drain and fill ports
Wants car to last:
Reuses dirty ATF
Doesn't change filter
next service i will change filter because i need a new trans pan. The oem one is rusting!
Yes????
Don't understand your comment about these cars failing and falling apart at 50.000 miles, I have a 2009 with 200.000 plus miles, and still running smoooooth with no other issues. Maybe stop beating your car up IDK. Love mine.
must have bad luck with this one.
so many things have broken already. at 68k now and i just hope it last to 100k.

How much for fluid from hundai
I bought a 9 qt deal like 3 years ago I can’t remember how much but now this fluid is so overpriced
mixing old oil with new oil....waste of time and money!!! What about the filter? It needs changing dude.
What size is the drain plug?
