God the Father is in control of all things and people, including sin, evil -everything-God is not sinful, not evil, but he controls them. God can and does use anything/anyone and everything, just because he used smith doesn't necessarily mean anything. God could have used Satan as a tool in your life-actually, he does! Everything/one that God created has purpose, reason, plans, his will, and he carries them all out according to his Word-the bible, his will, and his timing - Ecclesiastes 3 - 'to every thing there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the heaven.' Worship the Creator, not his creation-that is idolatry and blasphemy, which most of these 'smith' people have committed.

I find it hard to believe this video is six years old. Michael's Sovereign album was on repeat for me for two years straight, and I even came close to taking the accompaniment CD with me to camp for Sovereign Over Us. Having read the story behind the song Friends, that was rather touching.
