      its a prefilter abd its aswome. Especially if you have alot of bigger particles. Just the fine dust gets into the Bag while you can just dump the rest without bag change.
      We use the System what Milwaukee had copyed in this case. 5 Festool mesh bag are 20 to 25 bucks.
      Before the CT-VA-20 it was 1 to 2 Bags per week. Now its like 1 any 3 to 4 months while the Hepa Filter looks still new.
      Before we killed like at least one to two vacs per year while the people vac without bags because they start to clogg up after beeing at 60% full and especially the left over sand blasting grains ( like a Black sharp sand) kills anything

      @@TheGamingDoughnut If you pull the filter out the dust blows out the other side. This is a separate chamber prior to the filter. It’s not hard to make one from a 5 gallon bucket and some tubing but it would be nice to not have to have a completely separate unit.

    • @TheGamingDoughnut
      @TheGamingDoughnut 2 месяца назад

      @@billsedutto8824 maybe I misunderstand the concept but it that tubing is all connected to the vacuum and suction is coming from the vacuum the dust would just go through the unit and into the vacuum as there’s no weight in dust really seems like a gimmick

    • @TheSugish
      @TheSugish 2 месяца назад +2

      @TheGamingDoughnut yes but suction is at the top and there's a seperator between the inlet and outlet. Which means any heavy debris is gonna stay stuck at the bottom due to weight/gravity. But yes, the lighter dust will still partly makes it's way thru if ita airborne.
