Here's a hack for the Mr Patch boss: Get the Speck-o-spy part, and put it on a vehicle. Then, use it during the boss. If you run into his patches, it pops them! And the Speck-o-spy can't get hurt!

I honestly found the game quite fun, but not of the scale of Banjo-Kazooie. Something was missing and I think it has to do with nostalgia, or just because Gregg Mayles (the designer of the Banjo's serie) wasn't there... Regarding the performance issues, I would greatly suggest to play it on the Switch, which is the most polished version of the game (I've played on PC too.)
By general standards, the game is good. Like, REALLY good. The entire problem is that it was advertised as a long-awaited sequel to a series that its gameplay bears next-to-no resemblance to. If the same amount of production effort had gone into making the Banjo Kazooie game people actually expected and wanted, it would have been PHENOMENAL.

Just gonna say this now. This game is not that bad. The graphics are nice for a 360 game, the characters look pretty well, the music is good, good remixes, Banjo himself on foot controls pretty well, and the references and fourth wall breaks are great. But removing the platforming and collect-a-thon really makes this a downfall to Banjo-Kazooie. Overall, this is a good game, but definitely not the best Banjo-Kazooie game.

Problem is, Microsoft fired the people who made the good games and hire people who produced this. While I like banjo, Microsoft messed this up completely. Game is way too easy and pose no real challenge. These aren't even boss fights anymore. Diddy kong racing boss race was better than this. If the same people who made Kazooie, tooie, and DK 64 made this then this would be way better than this. Now DK fights bongos and penguins while banjo steady tuning a car somewhere for Munbo's dealership.

For me, it was Torpediles, Clockwork Kazzes and a Laser. I stuffed my Multirole Mk. X vehicle with all the ammo I could install.
