You know, even though I never played Sonic Adventure 1 or 2, I really like the concept! These heroes living on a realistic world, it somehow makes it a bit more relatable and tangible. The setpieces are, most of the time, great as well... which only makes me sadder that Sonic X was not that great, because it was basically a SA anime...
Especially when it tied into SA and SA2.
What you talking about? Sonic X is awesome. Childish but awesome. The mistake made was that had this whole time travel issue. I would have really liked to see the plot of sonic heroes and the plot of shadow the hedgehog in it aswell. But I guess the whole Metarex shenanigans were also ok, at least we got dark sonic out of it.
It was a shame, because I wanted to fight ALL Chaos forms, and Chaos 1 appears, but we don't fight him, and Chaos 3 and 5 aren't even seen...
