Yup. I was in LA shooting a FREE music video for an artist, which led to him inviting me over and connecting me with an artist which led me to a placement. Sometimes you gotta do free shit to get in a good position. 💯

He is smart. I was just talking about Brick's mindset in another video.
    GET IN THE STUDIO ROOM.
I was living in Germany when I got back into production (2021), and by November 2022 I was on a flight to Atlanta, and met all the producers I used to follow.
Ahh he just said it - BE GENUINE.
I was in Atlanta again November 2023 to late January 2024 and I just flew to Dubai because I saw Bricks was here.
Find studios. Pay for 1-2 hours. BANG your beats and leave the door slightly open;)
If your music is melodic or hard ppl will gravitate trust me.
Search for customers if you're not selling. Its the same as any other business 💪
Listen to Bricks hes talking sense.

Yep, the greatest astist/beats/music doesn't mean anything to anyone but the person who made it if no one else gets to hear it also. Gotta make pple hear it & love it & value it the same way u do...aka "build ur brand".... Great Vid and advice.

3:11 the realist shit that everyone needs to understand these artists don’t give a fuck and don’t care about how real your music is now. If one brand is bigger than the other then their gonna go with the person who makes them the most money. So people can make 100 beats all they want but if your brand isn’t their that’s why you won’t have any sales. Just connect with people within your community or if you can’t find local people just pack up yo grip and move somewhere. Like he said put yourself in positions to achieve things

Fuck most of the artists that blew up on my opinion they making money but they ain’t shit cuz they really not experimenting. They not creating music that’ll last decades and generations they all mostly sound the same at this point

Bullshit, if you a real musician/ producer who takes pride in your work. Fully invest in you work and let your reputation as a producer show for itself. Cleaning toilets just to have future in your beat is hoe shit. Where is the integrity in that? It’s better to build your catalogue with artists who may be local or ones you connect with via SxSW or even IG. I agree with what he says about branding. But build your brand on integrity and quality. Just my opinion. Blessing to all y’all tho

There are a billion others trying to succeed with just music-making, but success means cutting your pride and taking embarrassment if necessary.
