    Gen speed always has been and always will be the main cause of camping, tunneling, and slugging. Point blank, period. Anyone who disagrees is a delusional survivor main or has never played killer or has played killer vs clueless Megs and potato survivors who don't even touch gens.
    If you bring this up on the forums they will say its a skill issue. Really? A 45 second chase results in 4 gens done? How the fuck is that a killer skill issues. Gen speeds main issue. Maps a close second.

      45 second chase that also took about 45 seconds to actually find her. Total time was roughly minute 30. Enough for 3 gens to be done alone with no perks or toolboxes. That extra 45 seconds can make or break the game. As seen here it nearly broke it if the survivors didn't play like ass in chase at the end. This is why I have always been adamant saying 30 seconds should be MINIMUM you spend chasing a survivor, otherwise it is gg

    Saw you play this one. Definitely nuts. There is no way for the Killer to react to this. You HAVE to play "scumy" to have a chance. And BHVR forces this type of play.

    I saw people on the reddit making posts about things you said in the last video. People talking about base kit unbreakable in end game.
    People saying that you should have hooked her further away and not tried for the 4 man slug.
    Hell there are people making posts that they can't keep up with the survivors they get paired with and don't stand a chance, just to be called bad at the game. No constructive help. Just "Skill Issue" Meanwhile those same players whine about Nurse, Spirit, Blight, Skull merchant, Buffed Wraith, Couching pig.
    People say that killers should not complain about BNP, Cracked medkits, boons, ect because killers have op add ons like Alchemist ring and Cherry blossom.
    People keep saying "OH but the 65% kill rate even at high MMR" (Also they say that high MMR does not exist so...) When those kills are from weaker survivors, dc, suicides and the survivors playing bad. Or just from Tunneling and proxy camping with a 3 gen (which survivors want gone).
    You can't reach a common ground with these people. They will excuse you of just wanting easy games and wanting to win while slamming you when you lose and asking for nerfs.
    new players are not facing the best nurses, or 3 gen Skull merchant. They are facing the Wraith who loses survivors at loops and goes back to hook cause they don't know what they are doing.

      The devs are very survivors bias and they feed the survivors this type of attitude and way of thinki g by giving them every possible thing to help them win without effort like map clutter being added with every update that heavily favors survivors and so much more map sizes loops being chained together with back to back pallets and so many second chance perks and so much more but us killers are the issue apparently its a skill issue fuq these goddamn survivors and the devs breast feeding these goddamn baby survivors making it almost near impossible to win as killer this is why we are leaving

      I know it sounds hyper partisan, hyperbolic and biased, but DbD Survivors are legitimately the most toxic playerbase I've ever seen in any game.
      They are borderline sociopath in the way they don't acknowledge the killer as a human being.

      @@Pers0n97 because the devs feed them that mentality by continuing to hold their hands and make them feel powerful by making everything so much more difficult with map clutter being added in such a sneaky shady way to basically aid the survivors even more during loops also map sizes gen speeds and so many second chance perks and so much more this game feels more like a parody than anything if i remember right horror movies dont have killer with super obvious red stains and terror radius to give away their position also survivors know everything a killer does with an over abundance of info on their hud every time any of our perks activate like that pallet breaking one that came with the dredge once you hit the survivors the perk activates making it so if they vault over a pallet while the perks active break but once the perk activates theres an icon that shows survivors that we have that perk so they can avoid that vault altogether making the perk beyond useless so its like the survivors are the killer they have no icon showing us what perks they have they have no radius no red stains but we the killer announce our presence way before we can even see them so many unrealistic factors with this bullshit game so i completely agree but these are the reasons the survivors act the way they do thank the devs for that one and remember cote the head dev for this game said a few years ago when someone mentioned how stressful and unfun it was to play killer and he said as he shrugged oh well go play something else or try civilization so that right there should of been a huge red flag on how they feel about one side of the community and how they feel about the other and let me tell you killers feel very used like we are only there for the survivors enjoyment and not to have fun themselves the survivors have barely any effort to make their objective is 70 percent quicker than ours but we are always told skill issue like truetalent says the loudest voice in the community get first and last dibs so yeah lets not get our hopes up for any killer buffs or anything to aid us in actually having a chance to win without the scummy gameplays like tunnel camping and other shit

      @@joekobra6174 That was pretty hard to read without any form of punctuation and anything but yeah, I agree on the fact that one of the main problem of that game is how the survivors get way more infos than the killer, totally going against the idea of hunter and hunted. Instead of the killer having the drop on the survivors and creating a tense atmosphere for them, survivors are the one that constantly have the drop on the killer making them drive the action.
      Its a fundamental flaw that ruins the rest of the game.

    This is so sad. This game should be 10-12 hooks for the win and the game lasts long enough for that to be possible.
    1 chase, not even a minute, 4 GENS COMPLETE. How is that fair?! It's not. But yet Tru3 wins by sitting in 1 spot and camping because it was all he could do. Then that 65% kill rate BS says he did good. Survivor seriously needs a secondary objective to escape.

      not a secondary objective, per se.
      The objective needs to be consistent. That means less to no gen progression perks, but also less to no gen regression perks. Toolboxes purely for sabotaging hooks. This would remove like 40-50 (just a guess) potential variables for how fast gens can go.
      Then you can balance around the rest, like maps. Another part for how fast gens can go is map size. 40-50% of the time, maps are simply too safe or big to properly guard the gens. Right now, you walk to a gen, survivor there runs away, and depending on how early they leave, it takes 20 seconds alone to catch up to the survivor, now imagine having to get the down and walk back to the gen. The maps are also so big that the danger of the survivor being chased walking into another gen being worked on is pretty low.

      In my opinion, there should be a mechanic that evaluates the chases of the various survivors and, based on the overall evaluation, the end game is played. Example: The chases lasted very little, the survs just spammed endless pallets, in the end game the killer can oneshot the survs in any way. However, if the survs get a high overall rating, the end game is to their advantage

      His first chase was more than a minute when you factor in time to actually find her. It all matters, not just when he started chase to down. This match was won simply because the team played poorly and allowed him to slug for a bit. Perfect example of survivors can crank out gens but they aren't worth shit in chase.

      Exactly completely agree with you. They would rather make 4 players happy than make it feel remotely decent for the 1 other player.
      The survivors dont even understand that if the gens got more balanced there would be FAR less tunneling and camping to begin with. This video is a prime example of that. As soon as he got his first hook 4 gens were done. I doubt he woulda sat there camping if he had not lost 4 gens after first chase.
      Even with gen perks he woulda have lost all those gens unless he had deadlock to SLIGHTLY delay it. He woulda got no value out of gen kicking perks or even pain rest and jolt. They woulda only delayed it by a couple of seconds assuming he could even proc them.

    Easy fix for this problem:
    Grab a dbd dev, put him up against 4 random high mmr survivors (not even swf so no excuses), see how fast he loses game.
    The survivors are meant to do gens as fast as possible and get out, minimal altruism.
    See how fast this is fixed.
    Just like the Mathieu treatement with the insta flashlight

    2:16 where is SCRATCH MARKS after building corner??? she is not using any perk to hide it, if she just walks after this, it's impossible to make this distance, i think even with holding shift W it's impossible. how she is so fast. my opinion she teleported on little distance or walks with high speed to hide scratch marks

    I stopped playing nearly 2 years ago. I still come back here from time to time just to see what's new. When I started playing I didnt think I would ever stop since the game was actually fun at the time.

      lol I do the exact same thing. I am always surprised to see Tru3 still playing after years of gripes about the horrible imbalance. Seeing him time and time again showcase the holes in killer gameplay is so sad to see and BHVR not doing anything about it.

      I unsubscribed from gold after skull merchant was revealed.
      We have too many maps that are unfavorable for m1 killers and they go and add another m1 killer.
      I’ve had it with their blatant laziness.

    I always hate having to try hard and tunnel/camp as killer since I enjoy playing Pig. I don’t enjoy playing blight or nurse because they aren’t silly or fun killers for me. It’s just…. Not very fun anymore.

    2:22, there's a large gap at the back of shack where the blood and scratch marks should be, they go all around the shack then stop randomly and then appear about 10m away near the bush with the flaming barrel

Also at the start she was very clearly hiding next to the shack pallet on the window side but the gen blocked tru3s view. As for the scratch marks they do seem odd but they have always been inconsistent and only stopped for about 2 seconds despite still leaving blood. You went and accused some random player of speed hacks wall hacks and teleportation over inconsistent scratch marks.

      @@bigbrainonimain9226 I like how you addressed something I didn't mention (where she was at the start of the game before showing herself at the window (let's not even ask why she would run to the window after hiding at the door, when she could just have... yaknow, walked out the door), but didn't address her magical vanishing without a noise when she was cornered on the other side of the shack.
      And sure. Let's pretend the blood and scratch mark are SO inconsistent that SOMEHOW they just both stopped working right on a corner when she was making an escape outside the loop, just when you'd want to leave no trace behind to throw the killer off, that was obviously just a massive coincidence.

      Honestly? Big brain. If you could have four perks and a dedicated a slot for an information perk that would help a lot. Everyone always runs one or two regression perks anyway, and info perks would be a fun free perk to use. Most people would choose BBQ&Chili which encourages leaving hooks and not tunneling.

    I also counted from when the first gen completed and it was around 73 sec before the 4th gen was done. Meaning that if the first solo survivor who finished a gen did the 4th it took them about 56 seconds to do so. The first gen completed was in the basement of the main building and the 4th was the gen outside main building, going from the basement to the outside would take about 15-20 seconds so whoever did the first gen somehow managed to complete a full generator solo in about 50 sec or less. Since I'm assuming it was Thalita since she has a full gen build let's say it was her, she also has built to last meaning she'd also have to waste more time in a locker to regain her item to use on the next gen which gives her even less time to do that 4th gen solo. She got no value from stakeout since Tru3 was never near her meaning she only had 3 perks essentially. assuming this Thalita hit every single great skill check on both gens with Hyperfocus would be about the only way she could solo do 2 gens that fast. We could also speculate if she spawned in the basement near the gen or spawned in the relative area and decided to do it which would also prove that she did the gens even faster than normal if she also had to run to the basement gen

      @@Skillfulstone That would've been the case but his radius is 40 meters. From the moment the match began Tru3 immediately went across the map to shack and stayed there until the first gen was done, meaning she got no value. The closest he got to Thalita was after he tried to chase the Tapp for about 15 sec, while most likely hovering in and out of stake out range Tapp assisted Thalita on the gen for about 10 or less seconds with no gen progression perks or items, meaning the gen was already about 90% when he joined in. So Thalita solo did 2 gens in about the same time it takes to complete a whole gen solo. As we can tell from the Leon who wasn't in chase finishing 1 gen right before Thalita finished her second.

    After the analysis I found some things:
    1.- Even with anti gen, you had no chance against those 4 gens in 3 mins, because you never had the chance to even come close to one of those gens to kick it (Jolt don't count because even if you had it that would only add 6-7 seconds to the gen upstairs and pain resonance don't count either because there is always a chance the hook you end up hooking wasn't even a scourge hook.
    2.- They tri gen themselves, they literally played without the killer intervention for 3 minutes and ended up tri gening themselves, without you, the killer, that is supposed to be the power role that leads the game. (idk if I express it well, but what I mean is that they basically self-destruct there)
    3.- They have thrown themselves one by one to save Claudette, so again they self-destruct, if they were actually coordinated I believe this would have end differently. ( Even after that the Leon and the Tap end up killing themselves later)
    4.- If I weren't aware this game is plagued by hackers for real I would say she was looking at you through the closed window on shack, but the way she was impossible to mind game no matter what you did tell me she was in fact using wall hack or something (By the way idk how the hell she disappeared without sound or marks when she was literally cornered)
    5.- No matter what I do, I cant make the numbers on how 3 ppl made 4 gens that require 90 seconds without any kind of modifier. Its just unthinkable, for that they would have to literally spawn in front of a different gen at the same time and also have the 4th gen to 5 millimeters away from another one to completely that fast and still hard to believe, the only way is that thanks to Thalita's build she was capable of doing 2 gens alone in less than a minute, which is stupidly broken if that is the case.

      Someone else on the original gameplay video made a good calculation/explanation how they managed to get the gens done. Toolbox, prove thyself, streetwise, hyperfocus. But still rly hard and close if they didnt cheat. But thats why they 3 genned. They did all gens next to each other also explaining the speed.
      Edit: she also had stake out and measurement perk. 4 gen perks. Still stupid how fast it got.
      They should either remove gen perks and tool boxes or increase gen times.

      @@HyeonsikLi Yea I get it, but I don't really think Prove thy self is part of the equation, because they were literally separated among the engines, just by the video you can tell, Leon was on the house of pain, Tap on the two floor house and Thalita at the school, only possibility is Tap going super fast to aid Thalita but still stupidly fast. At this "prove" would be just an overkill

      Sadly skill checks were never a factor. Half decent players will never miss them anyway, it's just a bad mechanic that will penalise the bad players will giving an advantage to the good ones, it just increase the gab and nothing else.

    Thing is, they physically cannot do this without 3genning themselves, as they did, allowing you to capitalize on that mistake and slug. Your main complaint about first chase not mattering is completely fixed by using corrupt. You did get Badham though which is one of the worst killer maps so you can't come into these games expecting to win, which goes back to the biggest DBD issue of map design. The game will never be balanced around stages in pubs, if you want that go learn an S or A tier killer and join a comp team

    You can’t just look at chases sadly most of the games I’ve lost were because I was looking for survivors at a spot and wasted 20s looking around before finding them and getting into a chase which’s exactly what happens with the Claudette she had a short chase but combined with the time you wasted at shack looking for her then the overall time is significant regardless the game is survivor sided and it’s pretty obvious changes need to be made

    The game need a new mecanic dat make survivor have to find out something around de map to fix the gens. Like a tool or something like dat. Everyone need it and there is 5 or 6 of them. IF you dont have it you will fix gen much slower and if the killer hit you, you dropped it. Easy fix.

    I played perfectly for 5 solid minutes and I was still the underdog of the game once.
    Killers have done nothing but get better at the game to the point we have broken the limits skill will carry us.
    But it’s countered by just putting a pallet down early.
    It’s stupid

    This is why I left DBD a few weeks ago. 6000 hours in game as a 50/50 survivor and killer. I'm mostly a pretty patient person...but enough is enough. No fun to be had as a solo survivor or killer in this game. You have to sweat way too hard every single game.

    ok WOW that was some big d energy to loose 4 gens in the beginning and still winning :D I would've mentally checked out around the third gen popping. If i had a whish to change game mechanics in dbd i would probably implement some sort of reward for staying in chase (for survs) and getting into / winning chases quickly (for killer). So some sort of bonus to fixing & kicking gens, would that make sense?

    They wonder why we camp tunnel and three gen they fuqqin wonder why its unreal how blind people or like you said there more survivors than killers so whose voice is louder hmm its definitely a no brainer also noticed the bloodweb seems alot bigger and more expensive items appear than ever before also if you haven't noticed the bloodweb seems way bigger like more nodes per web meaning the grind is worse than before for newer players or someone like me switching to ps5 from xbox one this is also an issue why no cross progression alot of noticeable things that heavily favor survivors being snuck in with every update thats barely noticeable the devs are sneaky as fuq

    As a part time killer main, this hurts me to watch. I hardly play killer but when I do, I try to make it fun for all parties. I try to apply gen pressure, I chase survivors if I think I can get a down. I play the game like it feels like it should be played.
    But as mostly a survivor main, this hurts me even more. Do I hate when a game drags on sometimes, sure. But I don't try to rush 4 gens in less than five minutes of the game starting. I think dedicated survivors forget that there's another person playing killer sometimes, not a bot. They wanna have fun too, they wanna play the game. And seeing this from a killer perspective and from my own experience as a survivor, it's sad and it makes the game not fun to play

    biggest change point here was slugging claudette and going to pressure a gen that was too far gone to save, if he had hooked the claudette then the 2 story gen would have been complete and he wouldn't waste time going to it, so he would have pressured house of pain and prevented that gen pop. There was actually no pressure on any gens before the 4th gen had popped due to a bad choice.

    I’m so tired of playing my mains slinger blight and Wesker without getting either a toxic clicky swf or just a sweaty swf with 2 medkits, 2 toolboxes, 2 boons, and 4 sprint burst/dead hards. In this current game state, it’s a lose lose for killer. You have to tunnel/camp to win now, and then you’ll be called toxic, but if you play normally and don’t tunnel/camp, you’ll be met with “GGEZ bot” in the chat.

    A few things hurt you during that match.
    1. Green toolbox with built to last and hyperfocus
    2. A Leon with prove thyself who was most likely glued to that person because they were SWF'ing.
    3. Your first chase didn't result in a down for a minute and a half. This counts from time you start match to down.
    that 3rd point is very important because that is what kills most games for killer. A chase like that against an efficient team is a death sentence for killer unless something magical happens like what happened with you. Unfortunately this doesn't happen very often and most killer games will end in a result that is very very unfavorable and not fun for that killer.
    Regardless even if you downed the Claudette in half that time you still would have only been able to prevent maybe Tapp's gen from popping. The others would have been wisking away while you engaged Tapp. How does one fix this. Well it is numerous parts to fix the whole and that is for another video I would assume.

    Challenge is one thing, but the game inherently isn't fun in its current state. For every survivor that needs to be slugged/camped/tunneled, that's a person literally staring at their monitor waiting for something to happen.
    Meanwhile the poor killer is sweating their ass off trying to do the fun part of the game (chase) while survivors idle in front of their objective. If a killer wants to win, they have to resort to a super unfun tactic for both sides.
    I don't understand how this game still has its feet under it. There's no way it can last another year at this rate without a serious change. Gen repair speed is a problem, but adding more time to it just makes the game even more boring. 3 grnning to win is boring for both sides. This game is on the its last legs and it's only a matter of time

Pls could someone tell me how this can be near fun? Game in with you need to be focused in 101% to not loose, bc if you stop preasure for a few sec you probably loose. I would love to see how developers play killer and how enjoyable it would be to them to face this type of shit.

    I love True, but i think he needs to realize that this game will never be balanced and either accept and move on or just play a different game. BTW There are so many games coming out this year that are gonna be more fun than DBD

    What if they made gens go really slow, but survivors dont decay on the hook to make so you can go for the 12 hooks but balance it for survs but then can balance gen speed for killers. Now killer can leave hook because camping wont do anything cause no hook decay and killer can pressure gens and suvivors dont have to be on a timer to get the survivor off the hook and can pressure gens and get the hooked survivor after when killer starts pressuring gens they were working on. So for a survivor to die they HAVE to get hooked 3 times, but gens are very slow to where killer doesnt get 4 gens gone in 1 minute of play and CAN go around to pressure gens. This idea could be horrible but can make the game way more enjoyable for both sides. And you might say no survivor hook decay so a killer could keep a game hostage? Well just put a give up button on hook to where you insta die. And also if a killer camps hook they get 0 value now with no hook decay forcing them to run around and pressure gens unless they just wanna be a d bag. Also get rid of hatch or change the hatch mechanic entirely to balance it better. Also if gens are a lot slower, like A LOT slower then you can take out or rework gen slow down perks to a non gen slow down effect so survivors dont get double slowed on gens. BUT if gen slowdown perks are gone that means gen progression with multiple people on it is a lot slower also. Also if people are afraid of hardcore slugging with these changes maybe make bloodlust a lot weaker/slower/ less stacks so snowball is a little harder than before. Also with less bloodlust/ no bloodlust you could take out a lot more pallets or only god pallets on the maps so killer would have a chance to catch up. My idea could be absolutely horrible and kill the game but just a suggestion about the game to see what both sides would think of this. Also can balance and change things with this version of the game to make it better over time.
    Constructive feedback welcome on this idea because I also havent played this game in a while, so I dont have much say on what good/ bad about this idea I have above.

      Survs don’t need any buffs they need to be nerfed to the ground. This game is trash anyway used to be good not anymore…

    I think killers need to be far stronger than survivors, they are killers they are supposed to be scary and hard to win against for a survivor not the other way around.

    Ok. So, this happens in what? 1 out 10 games? Acting like this happens every single game and then complaining. 3 survs had enough time to finish their gens solo. Took you to long to find the first surv and to down her in total. Simple math. Just take the L for one game and go next. But nope, has to stand the "point" which will just end in tunnel/slug from the entire killer playerbase cus they see that from content creators like you. Congrats

    I got a three day chat ban because swfs couldnt happen me neko femboy trolling them in the chat when they were trying to get me upset like they were after I out played them. So thats also not really an incentive to play as much as killer LOL. Not that it will stop me but, meh.
