    Best review on this machine I've watched yet 👍🏻🍻

      Hey man ! thanks so much ! I just tried to be honest with my review, plus I think most ppl have their mind made up of what they want when shopping for a bike... so I just tried to highlight a few things I liked and didn't like. the Wolverine would be a SXS I'd look at though.

    I have a couple of friends who run Wolverines and they're fantastic machines, if I were to by a SxS it would definitely be a Wolverine, perfect size for 2 folks and you can still manage technical trails with ease. Great video!

    • @Maritimer
      @Maritimer  4 года назад +1

      Hey Ted ! I agree with ya, it seems to be the best all around machine (for me) there are a few things they could improve on 1) guage cluster should be right in front of the driver, not in the middle. 2) it can be difficult to get in/out of. but thats basically it. Thanks again !

    Nice video. I have ridden Arcticat ATVs for many years. I just recently bought a SxS and I really like it for riding around with my wife and grandkids and for carrying tools and equipment around the property. I am from Branson, Missouri, USA and I really enjoy watching your videos. I hope to have some of my own to share sometime in 2020. All the best!

    Ive went from an ATV to side by side twice , and I always go back to the Grizzly just for overall fun, ease of use, and true go anywhere capability. Wish I could own both! I have 2 kids and a side by side would be great now, but I cant get away from handlebars and the fun of an ATV. Good video.

    • @Maritimer
      @Maritimer  4 года назад

      Hey Buddy ! Yeah so you have the 708cc motor eh? I don't think I could get a SXS with only one cylinder. I like the X4 too, but I feel like it has the same issues as he X2 1)kind of hard to get in and out of. 2) speedometer should be in front of the driver not in the middle of the machine. 3) the rear seats are "clunky" to move or take out, it's not smooth and that's from new, without having dirt/rocks/dust in the track for the seats. but hopefully Yamaha will upgrade all of that stuff. thanks for watching !

      Hey Randall, I love the look of the General, it might be my favourite looking machine. I cant say how it works or anything, I've never driven one. @@Maritimer they're solidly built for sure. The two things I want them to change asap is the entry/exit with the annoying door latch bit and having more suspension travel. Really for me that's it. Oh, maybe 1 more thing- let that awesome engine loose!!!

      @Maritimer  4 года назад

    LOL so are used to own Yamaha YZ 250 are in the 80s , And a warrior four stroke 200? From the 90s and banshee love them all I have nothing to complain about any of them and they were on the extreme side and reliability never got stranded or had any serious problems after many many hours on all of them, Yamaha is always setting The standard or just ahead of the competition never behind I really like this wolverine X2 in the clutch set up you have and also The fact that it can do some work as well I’m sold gonna go pick one up it’s the best all-around machine. That I’ve seen that can run keep up with the big dogs all day.

    I have a 2019 RSPEC white color. I love it. I had a 2017 Wolverine RSPEC SE but wasnt a fan of the 708 cc engine, especially when Yamaha got rid of it and went back to the 686. Have no regrets with the new one. Super quiet but may have to flash it as well. Not that oi am a speed demon but 83 kms/hour is ridiculous.

    • @Maritimer
      @Maritimer  4 года назад

      Hey buddy ! you have basically the same machine, just different colour, very nice ride ! Not a chance in hell I'd ever buy a SXS with just a single cylinder engine... I mean the 708/686 has a decent amount of power for a ATV, but they would be gutless in a SXS.
      Oh man 83k is't very fast for how much they could get out of that motor... but I feel like Yamaha is still a little gun shy b/c they got sued big time back in the day from people rolling over their Rino's...... Yamaha didn't put warning stickers on them haha crazy what people can sue over...

    Hello great video I want one for some of the same reasons. Two ride 2 people comfortably, pack along gear for the day, the smooth ride. This was the twin engine 850cc? These Wolverine look incredibly refined I think it will be my next machine. I can’t decide if I trade in my 16’ Sportsman 850ho or keep it in case. I really enjoy my quad as well

    • @Maritimer
      @Maritimer  4 года назад

      Hey !! thank you ! Yes this is the 850cc model, not a chance i'd buy a single cylinder motor for a SXS haha they are 100X better for riding with two people and it can carry all your gear. We'll if you can afford to keep your sportsman and have the SXS I'd do that, then maybe see how much you drive the ATV.... if you dont get enough use of=ut of it, then sell it, maybe get ya some nice upgrades for the SXS.
