  • Part 1 of a carburetor clean & rebuild.
Broken Plastics, a dirty carb, even a mouse in the fuel tank. This ATV had seen better days!
Join me as I clean & rebuild this DS90 2 stroke Carburetor!
My 1st video on this was trying to find a replacement float, you can watch that here: • Bombardier DS90 - Floa...
Once the carb was ultrasonic cleaned, I got to work rebuilding it with a Kimpex 209114 carb rebuild kit.
    Check out Part 2: • 2004 Bombardier DS90 -...

Great video. Question for you, if I want to delete the oil injection system like you mention, do I need to worry about removing the oil pump and cable leading from the throttle? Or is it ok just to plug ports, remove the oil tank, and run mixed fuel. Thanks.

I'm wondering the same thing. It could lock up do to not oiling itself I would think (smart cells activating!).

I'm working on a buddy's bombardier 90 and to begin with wasnt firing up I ended up finding the blockage in the fuel valve cleaned it up and I'm getting gas flow and it fires up and idles great but when you give it full throttle it stalls out you can lightly press and hold down the throttle and it will rev up but not enough to move but when you give it full throttle to try to ride it it just stalls right out any suggestions???

This is the best vid on net for this carby.. Can I just add....
Under the main jet is the brass atomiser (not sure what it's called, but that's what it does). Push that out gently so it comes out the same direction as jet. It has 10 small holes similar to the pilot jet. Clean this out before you replace the main jet. It doesn't come with kit.
Mine had that much garbage in it I'm actually sure a new kit would do nothing... A mate of mine brought this to my attention and saved me more frustration, so thought I'd share.

I just picked one these up to fix but can't figure out how to remove the electrical plug attached to the carb. I assume those wires are for an electric choke but not sure. Do they just pop straight up off the carb. Thanks!!

They're actually prescription, as someone with an ocular condition, I'm required to wear them.

Can anyone tell me what is the fuel mix? Is it 40 or 50? Because it's not pre- mix, the book says nothing. Just want to know what others have been running... Cheers.
