You are a very good teacher. To begin with your Spanish accent distracted me a bit, but I quickly got used to it. It's a great course, can't wait for the 7th video! :0)
you all prolly dont care at all but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot the login password. I would love any help you can offer me
Dear Teacher, I think you are a very effective teacher. You sound friendly and engaging. An it is fun to listen to you. You are also funny. Thank you very much! Please continue.
Siempre había tenido curiosidad de como le enseñaban español a los estadounidenses, es muy importante saberlo ya que es el segundo idioma más hablado del mundo.
Hello, in english we have You for singular and plural, but in spanish there is "Tu" for singular and "Ustedes or Vosotros" for plural (depending the region, in Spain they use Vosotros)
Thanks a lot for the video. I think that there are three spanish forms that can be translated by the pronoun "you" One is "usted", which is used for the singular and the other is "ustedes" used for the plural. Both are used in a formal way. As to the pronoun "tu", which can also be tranlated into "you" in English is used in an informal way.
@sucableadi "ello" is used in paricular situations as "it", like "dependía de ello" = "depends on it". But not at the same way like "it" is used in english. Espero que te sirva!
Tu is 2nd singular person and Ustedes/Vosotros is 2nd plural person. TU is used when you refer onlyl to one person and Ustedes/vosotros when refering to 2 or more. Hope it helps.
we is used like this : if a male is speaking "nosotros", if a woman is speaking but there is only more female involved then we use "nosotras" , but if female says we and male is involved then we use "nosotros"
Don't worry, i'm mexican, here in México and in the other latin America countries we use ''ustedes'' (EVERYTIME)!!! We also use ''vosotros'', but only in some poetry, and in our national anthems! The only country that still uses ''vosotros'' is Spain
This is not explained well. Usted is formal and is singular. Ustedes is formal and plural. It is the plural of usted. Tu is informal. Vosotros is the plural of tu. Whether in Spain or anywhere else. The fact that it is not used in Latin America...well...that's another story. But, the fact remains that the plural of "tu" is "vosotros/as" and students MUST be taught this way or they are being taught incorrectly. Later on they will see this in literature or formal writing and they will be confused. So might as well learn correctly from the beginning.
at least in this lesson, the only difference between latin american spanish and Spain spanish is the "plural you". In latin america spanish we use "ustedes" and in Spain they use "vosotros". You can hear latin american people using "vosotros" only in extremely formal situations but Spanish (from Spain) use "vosotros" as their regular language.
Uhm... The teacher in this video says that "It" doesn't have any translations, that's why is neutral. But he's wrong, I'm a spanish speaker and "It" it's used for animals and things, inanimate objects. "It" = eso /aquello (masculine), esa/ aquella (femenine). esos/ aquellos (masculine plural), esas/ aquellas (femenine plural). That's the translation. But be careful because "aquellos" and "aquellas" can be used for persons (generally more than one people, or a group of people). In that case the translation is different: "aquellos" (those boys/guys/men, because it's masculine and plural), "aquellas" (those girls/ women, because it's femenine and plural).
we is used like this : if a male is speaking "nosotros", if a woman is speaking but there is only more female involved then we use "nosotras" , but if female says we and male is involved then we use "nosotros"@Wyzzkyd
Ustedes(many people): Latinoamérica Vosotros(many people): Spain. Tú(1 person): Universal Spanish Ayer quedé de tomarme un café con ustedes/vosotros Tu eres lo que quieres ser.
"Nosotros" is also used when we are talking about a combination of male and female and same is the case for "Ellos". You have also left out Usted/s which is the respectful form of "tú" and the translation of ''it'' is "lo" for example " I like to eat it" is ''me gusta comerLO''.
There´s one thing i could add to this explanation. You= tú informal, usted Formal. I live in Colombia. I don't use Tú, when i'm talking to another man, older people, or people who a don't know. I reffer to them like "usted" I reffer "Tú", when i'm talking to a friend of mine, which is my friend, and besides is a girl. "Tú" is not for every body. "Usted" is "you" in formal way.
Lo sé, pero no es algo tan común, que se utilice en todas partes, además, para los que comienzan con el aprendizaje del idioma español pueden encontrarlo confuso.
jodr, I see video of spanish is very difficult x3, i speak spanish and i view videos of this and say wow :o ahhaha ahora creo que hablar español es mas facil u.u y batallo para aprender ingles
MISTAKE: Ustedes is the plural of Usted and Vosotros is the plural of Tú Spain uses both Ustedes as a formal manner of speaking while using Vosotros is used when speaking to a group of friends, children, etc. Once you become aquainted with Spanish by using these lessons, try our "Basic" program on our channel
No se mucho ingles, por lo que puede ser que lo hayas mencionado sin haberlo escrito, pero faltaria algo: You = Tú / USTED You = Vosotros (male) / VOSOTRAS (female) / Ustedes Aun asi buena iniciativa!! Saludos.
Al parecer tratar de aprender español es más difícil que aprender ingles. Yo quiero hablar en ingles. Hablo español y las clasesde ingles que te dan en las escuelas no son muy buenas. Suerte!
@SuperEsbee "Y" of "Yo" = "J" of "Jack" (yo soy una persona, yo estoy aquí , yo voy a comprar) but the word "Y" = "and" pronounced as "E" (negro y blanco = black and white)
Your English is already quite excellent, unlike my Spanish. (In English, nationalities and languages are almost always capitalized.) How should I contact you, assuming you would like me as a partner?
I love to Learn This Language Latino Espanol Thank you Sir for Doing these Videos if anyone knows Latino Espanol could you please Message me to help me learn and speak it better please.
Ellas/Ellas I know that is for Man/Woman but it refer to who I am talking to or who is talking? such as If I'm a girl(who is talking) and they are men(who are I am talking to) what word I have to use ellas or ellos? ....now I think I'm confused about my question ok just forget it sorry what's wrong with me? lol

when you have both males and females for 'WE: you will use the male denomination nosotros; and for "THEY" if the group is composed of both males and females then you will use the male denomination which is ELLOS Also for IT there is a translation: "ESO or ESTO in spanish. EX: It is dirty ESTO (or ESO) esta sucio

Thanks very much for the information. I appreciate it. I am Arabic speaker. Spanish has borrowed a lot of words from Arabic
I speak spanish, but i watch this videos to learn english :D

my spanish teacher has only just learned spanish from uni and he explains all of that
we is used like this : if a male is speaking "nosotros", if a woman is speaking but there is only more female involved then we use "nosotras" , but if female says we and male is involved then we use "nosotros"@Wyzzkyd
Where are you from..?
Like what's your mother language?
Awesome lessons! :) I subscribed
yes good man i love the video ty so much
Ustedes(many people): Latinoamérica

Tú(1 person): Universal Spanish
Ayer quedé de tomarme un café con ustedes/vosotros

2:22 and what about couple of girls and couple of boys together??
Are you an Arabic language speaker? Only Arabic language is the only language which has duals Pronoun for two male and two females. أهلا وسهلا بك.
"Nosotros" also can use for both genders
Hi we have to use: nosotros
Nosotros in Spanish include pural and singular male and female
If "we" consists of both men and women, which do we use?
Lo sé, pero no es algo tan común, que se utilice en todas partes, además, para los que comienzan con el aprendizaje del idioma español pueden encontrarlo confuso.
@lilsweetprincess98 It's actually a TON easier than English. It only seems complicated to us because it's our second language.
jodr, I see video of spanish is very difficult x3, i speak spanish and i view videos of this and say wow :o
ahhaha ahora creo que hablar español es mas facil u.u y batallo para aprender ingles
I like, 10x for Video...
In case of mixed gender you use the masculine form, nosotros/vosotros/ellos
MISTAKE:
Ustedes is the plural of Usted
and
Vosotros is the plural of Tú
Spain uses both Ustedes as a formal manner of speaking while using Vosotros is used when speaking to a group of friends, children, etc.
Once you become aquainted with Spanish by using these lessons, try our "Basic" program on our channel
Gracias Dziekuje :)
Gracias.
@JungleListSoldier we use "ellos" when there is a group of both males and females, you must to use ELLOS
If you are talking a group of both males AND females, you would use Ellos or Ellas?
thanks, great!
@luisapea
el dios mio!!!! :-) gracias por se, i learned something ^^
thank u very much!
so far , its okay thx , شكرا
No se mucho ingles, por lo que puede ser que lo hayas mencionado sin haberlo escrito, pero faltaria algo:
You = Tú / USTED
You = Vosotros (male) / VOSOTRAS (female) / Ustedes
Aun asi buena iniciativa!! Saludos.
@glemdet35 when male and female are mixed you must use the male meaning ELLOS,
Thanks, I think I am going to learn Español
Thank you
for male and female you always use the first version nosotros
@easyspanish or soemtimes, liek french, it;s used to talk to an authority of respected figue(i think)
4:45 You have now learnt the personal pronouns in Spanish. Have fuc*.. have fun with the next lesson!
Wait, what if you are saying "they" but referring to one male and one female, what would you use then?
In that case we say "Ellos". So "Ellos" is equal to "They" means male and female together and also means plural of male)
we say nosotros nos amamos but is more common to say nos amamos
Al parecer tratar de aprender español es más difícil que aprender ingles. Yo quiero hablar en ingles. Hablo español y las clasesde ingles que te dan en las escuelas no son muy buenas. Suerte!
@SuperEsbee "Y" of "Yo" = "J" of "Jack"
(yo soy una persona, yo estoy aquí , yo voy a comprar)
but the word "Y" = "and" pronounced as "E" (negro y blanco = black and white)
