There should be a study on the Haitian descendants of African American families that emigrated to Haiti. The emigration of African Americans out of the United States of America, North America down to Haiti, Hispaniola, French West Indies occurred from 1804 to 1826, 1859 to 1865, and post Civil War.

@@Africa1000 I’m Haitian, a lot of people think I’m Dominican. Haitian and Dominican are just nationalities it is one island and the people are of a mixed descent. They’re are Dominicans that are black that look exactly like black Americans and Haitians and there are Haitians that are as light as the typical Dominican. If you look in the history the island became divided by color as it was already divided by language.
@@djstackademikz I promise you that I know a lot more about Haiti than you realise. Only a tiny number of people in Haiti are mixed or "light". In fact, so tiny as to be almost invisible. There are historical reasons for this and if you are Haitian then perhaps you might want to look more closely at events during the Revolution.

As a Haitian following this video this lady skip lots of key featured of the Haitian Revolution. She didn't even mention when they change the french language to A broken language which call Kreyole.. then after that they started to revolt.

Only God know how other nations exploit Haitians and we keeping saying blessed this country that keeps Haiti 🇭🇹 down and hard to resurface its economy growth. Shame on you and you kept calling Haiti 🇭🇹 poor. You become rich on Haiti’s back and soul. YAHWEH is watching and I am happy more people are aware of what’s going on.

I really loved the presentation. I lived part of the era. Haiti will never be coming out the deep hole of poverty that's getting deeper everyday. Growing up there was a saying Haiti owed France and France owed Haiti. Haiti paid France finally, when will France pay Haiti back?
