I am a born Aytien grew up in America
Ayti means unity love peace and Haiti means hating on each other which was changed by the Europeans/slave owners. Bookman was a Hero not a Vodou Priest yet, Vodou Priests are Kings. Ayti will be saved one day in spite of of the martyrs tribulations and humiliations it's people are suffering today. One love Ayti and Africa❤

White was considered as a class structure that meant Europeans. White didn't become a race identity until the late 1700's early 1800's after the Black Europeans fought off the British.
The Black Europeans were fleeing Europe because of religious persecution.
"Common religious" beliefs are Hebrew (Sephardic Jews). They were descendants being spread around.
The slaves that the Spainish brought to the islands first came from the West Africa and the Americas.
The French brought their slaves from captives of the Indian wars in the Americas.
The West Africans were descendants of the Sephardic Jews that were exiled from Spain and Portugal.

Fun fact: Napoleon considered various plans for France’s colonies during his first years of power. Among other ideas, he even thought of employing Toussaint and his black troops to create a large French empire in Louisiana. He already had 20,000 Native American troops on standby in North America. Part of the plan was to use the black, Native American and French troops to seize a couple ports from the Americans and take full control of "Louisiana Territory" also expand west of the Mississippi and conquer and colonize lands there.
However, Saint Domingue (Haiti) was to be a staging area, a type of fob, providing supplies, soldiers, workers, slaves and funds. The loss of his the island colony left him without the base from which to project his military power to North America together with the depletion of his forces in the battles as well as the loss of the riches of the colony to fund his dream of an American Empire drove him to offload the Louisiana Territory

This history is not completely but it has given the complete reason Napoleon Bonaparte sold louisiana to jefferson
. Haiti force Bonaparte rothe whole thing. Because he can not brought the slaves to New Orleans for sale anymore
Because their boats could not touch our shores anymore for the triage. Bonaparte was desperate. He has no place to bring his boats. New Orleans port wasn't useful anymore
This is the best of all course of all
