Thinkdiag 2 inital review

I saw this as a special and thought that for less than $100 was a good deal. I wanted to use my new iPad air for the larger screen. I was able to download the app and the VIN came quickly, but would not do anything else. I also tried an Android tablet and the app would not download. I finally put the app on my iPhone and it worked as it should and retrieved the data that I was wanting. So, I believe that the app will only work on mobile device iOS or Android, so there goes the idea of large displays. I tried to do some preliminary function, such as, Toyota oil resets, which it could not do. Considering the price, the bidirectional tool is a fantastic buy. I will continue to use it and see what its true capabilities are possibly doing a follow up. So far, it has been a good piece of tech for the money.
