- An onboard lap of Brands Hatch GP circuit with Fagan riding Kawasaki UK's H2R as part of some 'demonstration' laps at the British Superbike finale. You can almost smell the poo...Words + pics here: 44teeth.com/rid...
This bike was solely made as a feat of engineering, the supercharger was designed in house by the Kawasaki aeroplane engine team.
In my opinion this was made for the same purpose as the veyron, because they can..... What a bike
sorry to be off topic but does anyone know of a method to get back into an instagram account??
I was stupid lost the account password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me!
@Patrick Collin Instablaster :)
There will be more people who flew a Spitfire than get to ride one of these. Fair play to you Mr Fagan
Power wheelies at 140mph!? That thing is a fucking beast
Pretty sure it's KPH. Description said Kawasaki UK
+Snrub0800 in the UK we use MPH
Snrub0800 Its Mph, i very much doubt the 300bhp superbike only does 80mph in second gear... when my bike which is a 650 does 60mph in first lol
+semaj eeb 117 / 118 mph it was topping out in 2nd :D
Mark Graves is that all? jeez you should see my honda...
That 3rd gear wheelie into the braking zone was a little butt clencher :-)
Love it! Great in all aspects: sound, acceleration, torque, wheelies, launch control, what else? It's a beast 😬
+Riding TusCanY LOOKS, its sexy! In different way than Ducatis, but it is.
Mother of God! This is the first video of any motorised vehicle (2 or 4 wheeled) where you sit back and think "holy f**king shit that accelerates like a rocket!", whilst watching it. Almost looks like the footage has been sped up at certain points. What I would give to have a go on that.
bet the crowd loved the revbomb. top riding mate.
How real that is - the essence of biking - fantastic lap - totally locked on.
HOLY FUCK THE POWER! That man has balls! Power Wheelies all the time!
This looks rather brisk. Crazy note off it too. Love the launch control
Two things:
One, why are you hitting the rev limiter? That's not a criticism, it's an actual question from a guy who races cars not bikes.
Second, why the hell isn't this on your main channel!? This is...WOW! That's what it's...WOW!
Either way, thanks, because this is epic.
+Godly Object "why are you hitting the rev limiter?"
My guess:
1. The bikes gearing hasn't been set up for brands. Sometimes it's easier to just hit the limiter momentarily rather than shifting up a gear before almost instantly shifting back down again for the corner you are approaching.
2. He has enough on his plate trying to cope with riding the fastest bike he has ever experienced to worry about shifting at the perfect moment. It's the first time he's ridden the bike and isn't familiar enough to know exactly where the rev limiter is by ear.
3. Because it's fun.
4. He pulled the clutch in a bounced it off the limiter at the end of the lap, probably because it sounds awesome and he was excited.
+Edward T Crump #2 is the correct answer
I own and ride one, sometimes you hit the rev limiter because it’s pulling soo hard you don’t have time to shift perfectly. Maniacal performance.
his shifting was all over the place, and really no need to hit the rev limiter on such a bike like this
I was there when they did the demo, sounds so much better in person!
This is insane! Nice work
Anyone who thinks 300 hp @ the rear wheel is "pointless"! Should stop riding motorcycles and start riding four wheelers, with their kids or something safe!
First straight I hit, I would have ripped that damn keychain off and chucked it.
Jeez this video popped up and bloody Mary you gave it a good spanking!
Siiiiiiiiickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. The sheer thrill I am feeling now and I'm just a lowly RUclips viewer.
Double bloody horsepower! I still don't understand how you keep the front tire down with that much power. I suppose Kawi tuned it to be manageable, but I can only imagine what a race prepped bike would be like.
Fagan is on another level on this bike . Cant afford the manic H2R , so got the H2 instead .
Jesus those power wheelies...
this is crazy, it seems faster than the cars, I would like to see the times of this compared to like a gt2 car or something!
holy shit!!! so fast
absolute weapon
Would this be a good beginners bike?
I wonder what 4th 5th and 6th are for then, idling in town maybe? It doesn't really seem that different to the R1/M in respects of its practicality on-track?
As always, I salute you guys. Great video! How's the power delivery compared to a "normale" superbike, say a RN32 or the new S1000RR? How controllable is it?
that was insane!!
wow what a beast
1:06 thru 1:13 guarantee fagen was swearing in his helmet :D awesome
What.. What!! That is fucking insane.. newer realized it for what it where back then, but It's like listening to the power delivery of a bugatti.. just a freight train of power..
Fagan > legend
✊🏻
Scary fast
I can’t hear the super charger flutter! (The flutter sounds like a canary)
So much boost !
this track is in the game “real racing 3” and it’s crazy that it’s real😟 also, the bike is a monster. i ride a z900 and that bike is scary compared to it
is it kilometres per hour or miles per hour
What a fucking monster!!!
Is it a good learner bike?
brilliant bike
WAARRPPP DRIVEEEE!
A rocket, point and shoot track bike.
Such a fucking weapon!
Do you know a guy from a Swedish bike magazine called Christer Miinin?
Rapid!
Thats a missile!
Love that supercharge chirp
Fookin Beast..lucky bastard
holy loads of fun
Its hell
very impressive,
awesome. puppy nuts.
Sweet Jesus!
Dat redline doe...
"THE Beast". it may not be the quickest in pure lap times , but that is missing the point.
Hell's teeth!
Weapon!!
fucking ace
Whats with the rev limiter into turn 1?
It was a Rev-bomb for the crowd
That looked quick going down pilgrims lol
Even if you think that its kmh on the clocks its still fast
wow
i think this bike is made for Monza...... wink wink
Sounds so Evil
doesn't look like it hits higher speed than a super bike anywhere
Umm, the H2 is the world's fastest production bike. You can bet it has speed for days.
2:06 Oh my bloody hell.. jizz-(un)limiter
I am amazed at the amount of people asking the same question and also the amount of people who don't know who the rider is and are saying he's slow when he is actually a MotoGP and British Superbike LEGEND ; Al Faagan. I'm pretty sure people he has an idea of what he's doing around he track and posting slightly better times that the keyboard warriors what haven't even got a drivers license yet let alone owned a bike or have ANY credibility to comment about a MotoGP legend on a 300 WHP h2r . Lol
Also million comments in this one, "whys he hitting the rev limiter that bad!" In trying to post a good time for Kawasaki ,..#1 this is NOT kawasakis motoGP bike,..it's the same h2r their customers buy, it's NOT set up for this track , suspension but more importantly in race bikes they plug them in and set the ECU , braking , anything electronic , rps's power map , throttle settings torque range ;::.... ALL these and more based on the track;..this is a stock h2r untouched,..so the gearing is STOCK and off for this track so he's reaching hitting several times the rev limiter becaue it's either stay on the limiter for a slit second and shift and be out of max power for a split second wasting that much more time. You stay on the limiter rather then shift for a split second of the next year which slows you down. He's not forgetting to shift , not going to blow the bike up at their demo in front of fans. Just an FYI.
I love Fagen but a MotoGP legend??? I think even he would laugh at that!
It's got the power in a straight line, but a bike is only going to be as good as the tyres when it comes to bends.
+RevvedUpBiker rider 1st, tyres come way after...
Petar Boshnakov
A rider will give experience and ability, but when it comes to it your tyres are so important. Why do MotoGP and F1 pay so much attention to the right tyres if they are so far down the list? Rider first I would agree, but it's the right rubber that will stick you to the roads surface.
You think we fall into that 0.1%? If you do then good... AND even then most of the time they ride with the same tires...
Avete sbagliato a portare questa belva in questa piccola pista ...MONZA era la pista giusta....
With this, you can't even use 5th gear on a race track...I wonder if there's any track can let anyone explore the true potential of this bike...
Baron von bloodcock
That's Jason.
dat 50 fps
That poor bike.
booooooost!
you need to learn using a shifts at right time.I heard bike 2 times in full limit rpm screaming and losing speed
poor bike.
Ridden like a total amateur.
Gonna be a boring twat now but this bike is pointless. Yes it is technically brilliant and I'd love to ride one just to get a sense of what that power is like but it's realistically pointless. I hate to say it but There's too much power. I think he barely got into 4th? Granted brands isn't a very high speed circuit but still. I was there on the Bsb weekend the h2r first came out and they were ragging two of them round and you could hear the engine barely spinning up. It just seemed a waste to me. Oh and it's ugly as shit. At least the r1m looks sexy. Commence the hate.....
+Russ Goodban The best test/race fot his bike is ofcourse isle of man.Check out James Hillier pushing this bike to the limits /watch?v=LUeHtww5rVI
The most pointless and useless bike ever made.
+jerichom11x but one of the coolest
***** he means coz its only for track days and costs 60k (aussie dollars sorry)
read the last paragraph of Fagan's article (in the link provided in the description).
...yea, exactly
***** Not road legal, and you cant race it.
Luka Jordine Yeah not debating coolness, just practicality. None of us here could ever hope to tame such a bike even at the track
