I personally only use overhead heating. Never used heating pads before. I've heard too many horror stories so they freaked me out lol. My babies all do just fine with only overhead heating! Maybe I should give a heat pad a shot whenever I buy a new baby ball python. I just assumed overhead heating only would be fine since they technically don't get "belly heat" in the wild from the ground. They seem to work though, I know a lot of people use them!
