    Thanks for ideas. You're so calm cutting the excess strip fabric off the squares - lol. That helps alot bc I've been paying WAYYY to much attention to the math.

    If the small block was 5.5 and the large one was 6.5 leaves a difference of 1 inch; and then you said to add 1/2 inch to it. So would i cut a strip of fabric 1.5 inches? I will be cutting from yardage

      Add the difference plus 1/2" seam allowance to allow for the two 1"4" seams in the joining. This will leave you with the one inch needed to make the two blocks match. I think that she was thinking faster than speaking 😁
