Awesome take! I used to scuba dive and this is one of the best TRUE perfume aquatic representations I've smelled to date. The first time I wore it I must've been watching Disney's Atlantis the Lost Empire because I can't seem to get images from that movie out of my mind when I smell it. 😄 Unique use of synthetics for sure.
Most people get to this for the performance and stay for the scent. I think it’s really awesome if you can pull it off 😎
I had a 2ml decant of this and worn it to an open air art fair. Three sprays only. It was lovely and fitting there. I went to dinner several hours later and I didn’t like it then. Felt it clashed and overpowered the aroma of food. I usually despise aquatic/marine/blue scents but I can tolerate this one. I just can’t think of a real world application where I would want to smell like it for 12 hours++.
Yeah the longevity is almost too much on this one. I routinely wake up the next day smelling like I’ve been rolling around on the beach the whole night 😅

That’s beautiful! I would love to have someone truly experience a scent without any packaging or marketing bias, it would be such a cool experiment. Our bias is so powerful that despite not wearing Megamare today, reading your comment, I could swear I got a whiff of it.
“Soft and synthetic” is a great description of how this feels. That said, perhaps because I knew the aquatic references beforehand, I find it easy to find the sea in the scent. I own zero aquatics apart from Megamare, but I do love this one.
I sampled this and really wanted to like it, because I love aquatics…I got a distinct Windex note that I can’t get over….

Hello and thanks for the comment! The o my experience I have with Brioni is from samples I tried a while back and I don’t really remember it smelling anything like the Y line 🙂

@@Eirini80 it’s way more wearable than Megamare. Megamare is darker and more ‘fishy’ and it changes way more. Longevity is super on both.

Check out the Sea line from Lorenzo Pazzaglia. They are all awesome and you can go easy and wearable (Sex Sea), dark and stormy (Black Sea) or fresh and in between (Artik Sea)

@@SeldomlyOften it smells so synthetic/fake. I owns Nasomatto and orto parisi. He uses some of the same musks in all his perfumes. I just get his basic musk and an ultra high dose of synthetic water notes for the sake of being loud. I like crazy unique scents usually but this one is not for me.
@@kingerfd3341I agree that his style can pass as a little lazy and that without the marketing a lot of scents would fall flat but I still enjoy this one 😊
