Where in Caguas were you guys? I went to school there and was looking forward to videos from there. It's definitely Cat-4 damage. When we're your strongest winds?
Dang man that day brings back memories i remember staying 12 hours in a closet and seeing everything go. I lost many friends that day and no they didn’t die they just left the island but there were two of my friends who died that day
I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MY BROTHER IN LAW( JAIME, HE IS FROM COLOMBIA), HE IS A PRIEST IN AYBONITO, BUT HE WAS IN CAGUA DURING HURRICANE MARIA. PLEASE IF ANYBODY KNOWS SOMETHING ABOUT HIM, LET ME KNOW.
The government of Puerto Rico needs to take a close look about the island electric system. The system is fragile, weak and awful. They need to sell their government electric company to a private company. The day they do this Puerto Rico's electric system will run more efficient.
I don't think you know what you're talking about, it's not that easy. The PR electric company make tons of money but the government diverts it to use for other services instead of using it to make improvements. Letting a private company take over would make that company rich while the rest of the government wouldn't have any money for hospitals, roads, etc, which even as bad as they are imagine wihout any money how much worse they would get.
Charlie Rodz he knows well. PR has had ample opportunity to upgrade their utilities infrastructure from the old weak decrepit components they currently have but refused to. The power goes out down there all the time at the slightest breeze because their infrastructure is so outdated. This is why the power is at a 100% loss at present due to the storm. St. Croix, on the other hand, a much much much smaller island is not at 100% power loss. PR needs to strengthen its infrastructure to current times.
Charlie Rodz if they sold the telephone company and the airport years ago the government can do the same thing with the electric company. Anything that is beneficial for the people of Puerto Rico I am favor. If you don't see it that way then you are an idiot
I agree the system is old and much of it obsolete. I'm also saying that privatizing it won't help PR, it will only help the company that takes over. Sure the people will get a more efficient system but they won't be able to afford it plus the rest of the government will continue to lose money.
The beach part is on San Juan, but the rest of the video was recorded in Caguas, starting from the Centro de Bellas Artes Parking Garage.
