This is damage I haven't seen since Andrew and Katrina... truly terrible. My heart goes out to all the victims of both this storm and Irma.

Wow! Absolutely incredible. I love the Iguana save. Cute. But the de-barking and shredded palm trees... and not just a few, the whole forest of them. THAT'S a "bigly" wind. These people need help beyond their own means for sure. Dominica has to look similar I would imagine.
Dominica was wiped out :( I wish that island and the area I live on got more attention on the storm
Trying to get an update on Guanica specifically Barriada Esperanza. Family and friends there and still haven't got in contact with them. Any news or update will be appreciated please and thank you

And wind power reduces the severity of storms how? I feel bad for all the people, animals and birds going through the hurricanes lately, but I LOVE seeing those bird-killing turbines all broken up! Too bad they didn't break at the base. :(
One of them went down.
And that is why wind power sucks. Aside from the massive amount of space required, too.
