Had her 1st album, knew it by heart...'73, Boulder, Colo., Bonnie & Freebo in some little club. Loved her then, love her now, always will! What an inspiration to young women who want to go their own way, sing thier own songs & find out that taking the old & making it new fills the hearts of many...like Bonnie does so beautifully!!!

Bonnie, first, I'm a huge fan and have come to see and hear you perform. Latest was the show in Milwaukee with James Taylor. I've been a JT fan forever but it was you we came to see. Second, I so appreciate your work on environmental issues and civil affairs! Third, praying for you that whatever it is you are going through, stops! Love and peace, Wendy
Passing the baton was an enjoyable way to express respect. How a particular production company handles someone as talented is a credit to the music industry. She is outfront of many visionary thinkers in life.
I was lucky enough to hear Bonnie " live " on the radio at WMMR in Philadelphia in 1972 . Although she was ( young and raw ) in the beginning she touched our souls .
I saw her at Jones beach with Bruce Hornsby opening. He came out on stage and played the piano for I can’t make you love me…..it was beautiful. She is such a talent ❤️
Bonnie Raitt is, no doubt about it, an American National Treasure. Her life and background, her family and friends - it would be difficult for Hollywood to come up with such a weird pathway for a life to follow. The sad fact that so few American girls try to follow her example is a tragedy; I mean, like, "Hey, American women, what's wrong with you?" People pay attention to a girl with a guitar(especially if she can play it!) and they'll pay attention to what she says. If her example leads some girls to pick up the life of a serious musician, it gives hope to the future of the Human race. Don't NEVER stop, Bonnie!
Thanks for posting, LOVE vintage VH1 and vaguely remember this when it must've reran in 1992. Loved Bonnie's music and I have a newfound respect for how committed to leftie political causes she is
Sh belts and sings with false vocal chords for having the rasp, but never oversings or strains.....a true musical genious....blues and bluegrass and folk at its best...also her guitar play is to die for
Radcliffe lead her to more gigs, partly, and that powerful influence she exhibited with not wanting to feel less around a majority of men is not a novel approach; it is a lifestyle of a legendary artist, a performer. Contracts won out for those who are talented. I still buy her music. or buy in to her mindset.
Her phrasing is to die for

@Bonnie Raitt 💖 No, thank you for the awesome pieces and collaborations over the years.
Bruce Hornsby was my favorite.
@Bonnie Raitt I am so giddy right about now. Woow! I'd be cool with that. Pen me in anytime Sun-Tues. I work 12 hour days at a soda plant Wed-Sat.
My favorite album is the glow!
Bonnie and Little Feat at Ultra Sonic Studios with WLIR radio early 70's.
You any relation to a Russell Fairchild at all, got some cattle ranches in Texas?

Bonnie Raitt y Rod Stewart los mejores.
My Goodness, she is So Young here. I Love me Some Bonnie !!
Hell, ever with the heart, soul, beauty & wisdom of the ages, she'll always be in her teens to me -- even when she's old & wrinkled.
Those dimples tho 😘
Bonnie is about 40 here, she's one of the first older woman crushes I had as a kid (seeing this reran in '93) but certainly not the last lol.
Only seen her live twice. Not nearly enough.
VERY SEDUCTIVE
