- 2016+ F82s (perhaps all F8Xs) with their NBT Evo head unit can run most of iDrive 5++/6 Light without much problem other than losing nav and mobile data (which can be overcome with an FSC purchase and other coding, I believe). Early attempt.
(I prefer the B&O DSP so that's why my HK-'branded' amp is masquerading as B&O.)
(sorry for being off-kilter; eyes weren't on the phone)
How did you enable the Bang & Olufsen audio menu? I did not get this when I coded ID6 lite. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Mario Chan here is a post on that: f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1322442
hi guys - do you know is a today's ordered BMW M3 F80 equiped with the idrive 6.0 system?
AOP it ships with the id5 skin which can easily be coded to run the id6_light skin seen here, but with full functionality.

Hi Dave - thank you for your superquick answer! very sad in my opinion and i can't understand....
AOP you can either buy an ENET cable for $20 and get E-Sys and the Premium Launcher, and use cheat codes to elicit this, or you can pay someone to code your car in-person or remotely. Otherwise, you're stuck with the id5 interface. More info on coding can be found at f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=631
great thank you!
Do you have an idea if I can update a M135 Build in 02/16 with Nav Pro? Thx for reply!
Patrick Heyland A full toolless retrofit with total functionality doesn't seem possible at the moment. I'm u sure whether the same holds true for the M235i.
Ty for the reply, I think I will get used to iDrive 4 :)
