Hello. This happened because 1- Phantom was in ATTI mode (yellow lights) and because 2- You probably put both sticks in the lower left corner, which turn off the motors. If you need help / advice let me know.
Sorry! I don't remember what i did to hit this copter down to the ground.:-)
