@@AndyMurdock-b3g he made a lot of mistakes, but he always put in money to get us back to the PL when we went down to the championship. He brought the legal case against the PL for us to be sold. I don't like him, but he did sell us to a buyer who will take us forward like he said. Don't like Mike Ashley, but I don't hate him either. Should never own a football team ever.

Lets not forget before they were taken over, Newcastle had a net spend of 10million for the past 10 years combined, and were the only club in the prem to recieve £0 investment from the owner year on year, while.leicester broke their ffp allowance and spent something like 140mill in one season. Newcastle had an owner who stripped over a billion out of the club over the course of 14 years, which could and should have been spent on players and reinvested into facilities.... (2 years ago the newcastle training ground used actual wheelie bins for ice baths and had an inflatable childs paddling pool instead of a swimming pool.....) Instead all our money went into Fat Cashleys kebab fund.
Newcastle are restrained by our FFP budget. Being owned by a billionaire doesnt mean much when we have an ffp budget of 190 million a year. Especially when you look at the likes of Chelsea spending. Everton, tottenham, villa have all spent way more than Newcastle and are nowhere near them.
No. The credit goes to the managers, the players, the staff, the fans, and the board.

And finally, lets not forget that Newcastle were more successful and had more trophies than either Chelsea or City were before they were bought out.

Going to be very interesting next season, see if Newcastle can maintain a European place as well as cope in other tournaments. Squad rotation is going to be massive, so it’ll all depend on who they sign with FFP. With the amount games, it will be a difficult season but on right course to have a successful one.
