US Bank+ credit card does wifi and utilities cash back categories. But I am liking Bilt still.

Maria thanks for your video is so greatly appreciated. I pay rent via direct debit, my landlord withdraw the funds from my checking account. If I provide him with the Bilt account/routing numbers may do the trick. What are your views on this?
Hi Maria great video! I do have a question though, will this BILT card work if your pay the landlord on Venmo? I am a bit confused on how this card works if you have private landlord vs the typical an apartment or managing company.

It’s a checking account. The Bilt app gives you a “checking account” so you can use that.
If they set up through an ACH program, shouldn’t you be able to pay a mortgage that way?

@@techmentormaria This is the way. IMHO, too many people over-index on investment growth vs lifestyle fit when considering their primary home. If they align, great. But why not separate them if you can max both!

I don’t understand this question 😅 credit card pays for rent. I pay off credit card. So I pay.
The rent payment is more like a Debit Transaction, linked to your Checking Account. But, all other uses are Credit Card purchases, and the payment system works identically. So, the big bonus with Bilt is that you get points for paying rent, and no transaction fees, like the fees with Plastiq.
the card isn’t going to pay your rent for free lmao. it charges the card, then you pay off your credit card bill. it’s a regular credit card.

It launched mid 2021!
The points are only 1/2%. So 3 points is 1.5%. I currently use a Visa card that pays 2.5%. This is better even with a credit card payment fee. So if you say you're getting 2 points on your Wifi, that's 1%. Again, I pay Wifi with the 2.5% card for 2 and a half times more cash.

I signed up for Bilt rewards and linked my cards to my account. How do I get reward points? Everything I see on the site says I have to have a Bilt card to get any points.
You should get 2x points on Lyft rides and 5x points for the restaurants that are part of bilt dining! Have you tested it?
@@techmentormariaso the BILT rewards bonus points only apply to BILT partners?
If you use the cards you linked(bilt wallet) at one of their dining partners you get 5x bilt points in addition to whatever rewards you get from the credit card. If you link your Lyft acct to bilt, you get 2x bilt points. You don’t need the bilt Mastercard.
If you get rewards for nothing, you are the product.

Answer this, what is the support they offer. Here's the answer, NONE. OK, you can do an online chat and they will respond overnight. It sucks. SUCKS
You can call and get someone fairly quickly, I think I was on hold maybe 5 mins middle of the day east coast time. It’s a Wells Fargo card so when you call Bilt I believe it eventually goes to them for support.
