Wow. 1982. I was just 9. I remember this stuff so well and have collected most of these animated shows on dvd. I love the commercial bumpers. The music of them and all are locked away in my brain. The commercials themselves are so enjoyable as well. I would give just about anything to go back to these times. Riding my bike, playing atari, playing with my friends after school, and living for Friday nights and Saturday mornings. Another reason I'd love to go back is that I'd also get to see my mom again, and other family members I've lost through the years.
I was 6. We had one 9" B/W TV with rabbit ears. Didn't bother me one bit, but it's nice to finally see them in color. Thanks for preserving the memories for Gen X! What a great era to grow up in.
It's Saturday morning. Got my cereal, juice and toast for breakfast and watching classic, vintage Saturday morning shows as if I'm growing up again. Those were the days.
I do the same thing. 43 years old and will buy some cereal for cartoons on Saturday. Takes the stress right away and transports you back to a care free living.
I get my box of fruit loops or apple jacks or count chocula cereal a pack of backwoods and I start with the woody woodpecker an let her rip takes me to a different time when things where simple
The 80s where awesome! I lived in South Florida my sister and I would always go into the air conditioned family room and watch cartoons till 12 pm. Super friends and pac man where my favorite
probably watch to 10am then go outside and play till 4-5 eat dinner- then play till 8pm in the summer. Those South Florida summer nights when your 8-12 in the late 70s early 80s.
I always remember my 80s cartoons theres time i just look them up on youtube and those 80s commercials just so i can feel like a child and go down memory lane
The Pac-Man cartoon was a lot of fun, not just another cheap cash-grab. CBS tried to copy the model by having the "Saturday Supercade" but none of those shows could hold a candle to H-B's Pac-Man!
Oh man! I remember the Marshmallow Crispies cereal, it was SO GOOD!! It kinda makes me want to buy them and just add them to my Rice Crispies!(my local farmers market sells little bags of the mini marshmallows from lucky charms!)
I don't know where you keep finding this stuff but the original broadcasts are gold. I love seeing old TV with film streaks, video warbles, and most importantly the original broadcast talk overs! Sure they ruin the end credit themes, but that's the way it was meant to be. Just like the radio, the last seconds of the song were always talked over. It feels like ancient history now. Thanks Mone!
My man!!!!!!!! Just thinking about checking out some toons and then I see this!!!!! You do beautiful work Mone. Life ain’t so bad now, at least for a little bit.
@@MoneMedia Yo, Monie, I cannot believe about the same Saturday Morning cartoons in the early eighties it was right here on Channel 7 WLS TV Chicago. after 3 days when we were born on November 3rd. 👶🏾👶🏾🎂🎊🎁♏
IT'S RALPHIE FROM A CHRISTMAS STORY!!!!! Wow, I'd totally forgotten that commercial! It's such a mental time warp to see and hear things you haven't experienced for decades and suddenly remember unmistakably. This is hands down one of the greatest channels on RUclips. Thanks, Mone!
Most years it was a close contest between NBC and ABC, with CBS always in third place. Other than Fat Albert and old Looney Tunes & Mighty Mouse reruns, CBS's shows just weren't as good IMHO.
I remember 1980 to 1986 Saturday morning cartoons were the best & I always changed from ABC to NBC to CBS certain cartoons I wanted to watch on certain stations until I became a teenager in the late 80's then I started watching more wrestling on Saturday mornings
@Mone Remember the USA Cartoon Express Weekday Afternoons at 6pm on USA showing the classic Hannah Barbera shows that would be a great video to do a few episodes of the Weekday Cartoon Express
oh so many memories , went to school all week & then Friday came done for the weekend , here comes Saturday morning grab a bowl of cereal & watch Saturday morning cartoons , but then dad a lot of times ruined it for me & my sisters by telling us we had yard work to do & then beat the hell out of us if we complained
So many different versions of Barbie dolls. A few weird things I've noticed: There was a McDonald's Barbie and a Doctor Barbie. Talk about going from the basement to the penthouse. There was an "Animal Loving" Barbie... She wore clothes with leopard print on them. Seems ironic that an animal lover would wear something like that. Barbie's extensive wardrobe also included fur coats.
That was a flashback! I'm surprised I didn't recognize him as Marvin from the Hershey's syrup commercial when I saw A Christmas Story in the theater, but a couple of years is a long time at that age.

I had a tiny b/w philco with coat hanger antenna 📡 😊. Watched all of this, i was in 2nd grade

Man, those were the good old days! I was 10 when I saw these! Goodtimes! Thanks for sharing!
Even the commercials take me back to good times. Thanks for the upload.
The early 80s are the best, bumpers, promos and commercials. I was 6 when this aired.
That's when NBC, ABC 🔤 & CBS was kings of cartoons.
Same here. 👍
If you notice the actors in the commercials were mostly up an coming stars. Nowadays it's just a pretty face or already known celebrity

Reliving my pre-teen years.... Nostalgia is a hell of a drug
a good drug
The best one!
🤩 it sure is!
And it's so cheap.
The kind of addiction that isn't a bad thing!
Excellent! This seems to be from February 5, 1983 to be exact.
From 81 to 84 were the best years, but all 80's were great
81 to 85 for me
I totally agree with you. I was born in '75. Those are my favorite years. But 84 to 87 was pretty cool.
Wow I remember most of this and especially the Atari commercials and the weekend special episode, thanks for posting, so many memories.
My pleasure!
In all those commercial those kids back then like me are in our 50's i miss my childhood
When Saturday mornings were fun!!!
This website, brought tears to my eyes. I miss my childhood… this bring back wonderful memories thank you.

Seeing anything Pac-Man still makes me light up like an arcade. The thumbnail alone - I'm already happy & still have the cartoon to look forward to 😆💛

Atari...awwww yes, I remember my mom taking me to Sears department store to get it when it first came out...awesome memories! Thanks bro
Ralfie from A Christmas Story is in that commercial too.
The Good-O-days as a kid!! 😊
"I wonder if this is the place where the Ghost Brothers and Wyatt Pac-Earp chomped it out at the OK Corral."
"I want an ice cream cone!"

Thanks. I was 10 yrs. old when saw these cartoons and commercials. This definitely brought back a lot of memories.

That Messy Marvin commercial made this worth clicking to watch.
He's also in the Atari commetcial as well. 👍

Thank you. I previously knew that, but couldn't remember where i knew him from...and I wonder how old Webster was when he made that commercial
I'm more offended that he's shilling Hershey's instead of rich, chocolaty Oveltine.
@@Trandview speaking of Webster, he lives in my town. He's a super nice guy!
Hey Ralphy
Seeing that commercial, it looked so good i could taste it, but would rarely have it😢
I think ABC had the best overall Saturday Morning Cartoons.
me 2
All three networks had great 😃 TV Cartoons.

Been waiting Mone.. Happy Saturday broski! Thanks!
Another solid cartoon line-up! Great stuff Mone!!
Ĺjust found these, really appreciate the memories you give us, thank you so much.
Kida, their activities, the cartoons and commercials, were ALL so innocent back then.
I'm 58 and rock these...and I'm ok with that
It's 1986! I'm 6 years old again! Dude, the nostalgia factor is so high.
I think you invented time-travel. Where's my NES?

@@MoneMedia How did you pull this off 📴 without being copyright blocked?
a brilliant idea for this could be live tv on youtube or streaming service for saturday morning cartoons
i was 7 when this came on then I wasacbskid for a a yearor so and then was a Nbc kid with the occasional ABC show
It’s showtime once again!
A Mork cartoon??? That's insane!
I miss these little segments that NBC, ABC 🔤 & CBS had on Saturday Cartoons.
Awesome as usual, but I do prefer the mone media experience with childhood stories and cartoon intros.
its coming Dale
I bet money I was sitting in front of the tv with a big bowl of cereal the day this originally aired
Killin it like always bro child hood memories once again!!!😊
imagine if cartoons were just animated "kid" versions of other "adult" tv shows? the creativity is off the charts xD
PacMan oh man hahaha. I was a little older when this came out so I didn't see it much of it I was on my bike hahaha.
