As a man city fan i couldn't agree with you more on how those corrupt the premierleague is. Newcastle united owners should be allowed to spend money to get your club competing against the top teams and challenging for trophies. That's what makes the competition, but unfortunately the red cartel doesn't like that so they get the little twats who they put in charge of the pl to put a stop to it.
How can a court of law rule it's anti competitive, the the PL say its all above board, nothing to see here, hopefully not the last of the law suits, Great to see you back Chris, keep doing what you're doing 👌🏻
Well said Chris. I thought it would get carried but not supported by as many as 16. Maybe there’s something I don’t know. The APT rule has been judged to be essentially illegal, and IMO no amount of tinkering will change that. So this latest version is just another kick of the can down the road. Until another legal case. And another. Maybe Newcastle should show City some support.
So who gets to decide what is fair market value? Will it be a case of red shirts allowed 100m sponsors and every other jersey only allowed 40m! EPL are a f*cking disgrace!!!
it has been reported that main reason it got the vote was to get the 0% owner loans dealt with and included in psr to ensure they are charged a fair interest , However the previous owner loans will not be retrospectively included so Arsenal/Brighton and others get away with what they gained benefit from.
i think its time to give it back to the premier league, we have played nice for too long now, id go in for them, we smell blood now let's take advantage
They can vote whatever they like it doesn't mean it's legal, but it kicks the can down the road. Now when the last rules are confirmed void in the entirety they'll have to prove the new ones are.
Restricting growth to increase a businesses revenue is unlawful in any business. The other clubs that have voted for it will be the ones that will suffer in the end.All that will happen is that they will create a breakaway league just like what they have done with golf. They have only themselves to blame.
Horrible corrupt rules to keep the likes of us down and the cartel at the top . Most competitive league in the world , my arse ... fuck the premier league 🖕
Totally agree that this is nothing to do with sustainability. PIF are the single most sustainable entity on the planet. This is self protection by the other clubs. However I imagine if we were in the position of say Brighton or Bournemouth we would vote against relaxing the rules. That doesn't make it right but we all want the best for our clubs.
It's not surprising, sad, all the same. Corrupt as they come... This is why we need to plough on & build a new stadium to double rev, at the least. Sell hotels, etc... Money always manages to get throuhh, one way or the other... I often, like you, Chris, think that the pif will f!@#£ off. Due to this blatant corruption. But, we've just got to keep ploughing away....
Well said, the other kiss ass clubs will be despised by there own fans especially if they get taken over by wealthy owners and will find themselves in the same boat as us, not able to compete . Corruption of the highest order
The PL are absolute skid marks. I'm fairly sure they over-inflate their commercial deals with Sky and the like! They HAVE to throw the book at City, or it's open season
I truly believe that the sham will be smashed in time. The yes sayers voted in favour this time to protect the interest free loans that their owners have piled in with. Patience is the key here, keep building and stretching the rules, eventually the band will snap, as frustrating as it is...
It makes my piss boil thinking about it all!! We don't want to spend 1bil in 1 window ffs, we just want to be able to compete, as in be on a fair playing field at least not have to sell our young talent to buy players that's never going to happen. We need an independent assessment team, like maybe some government organisation to stop this corruption..(yes I know the governments corrupt too but they would have to help make it fair for the Saudis because of our countries certain links)
Newcastle won't be that bothered tbh I seriously question their commitment to be a super power in football, Saudis and Rubens just want a top 6 / 7 side not a challenging side and people need to wake up!
Got to wonder what sweetners they've offered the other teams to keep them onboard. Since the coup to remove Blatter and Platini, football has become horribly political and an insanely corrupt industry

PL anthem at SJP should be jeered from now on
The club should take them to court and stop being nice.

Unfortunately for the so called "big six" Newcastle will legally progress and progress way beyond all of them, then it will be our turn to sneer.

This is why City said the “tyrannical majority of PL league clubs”. All coming out now.
Noticed it's all Americans owner's doing this
Before Roman Abrambovic we were miles ahead of Chelsea even Sunderland were more successful than Chelsea

Absolutely. Exactly my thoughts.
Why are we relying on city to challenge the pl ? What have we done other than shrug and conform ?

Great video. Totally agree. Corrupt to the core. Personally wouldn't spend a penny on this league now.

Newcastle United will persevere. That said, they are building a special continuity that seems to be spreading into the England squad.
The reason was the voiding of shareholder rules. The clubs like wolves Everton and Chelsea were essentially bought in the vote
Why don’t we just say fuck the premier league and go spend like crazy . Then hopefully win something then fight them in court in 5/6 years time.?
Totally agree that this is nothing to do with sustainability. PIF are the single most sustainable entity on the planet.

I'm not at all surprised about this. The whole thing stinks.
Has the judgment ever been published? City may go back to court and the Toon should consider joining them
Cyril Sneer! Now there is a blast from the past 😂... 100% with this Chris, pure xenophobia from the corrupt 6 and those happy to eat their crumbs

Rotten to the very core.
Should get the pl on the racism point they stated gulf states specifically
Our owners appear to be just taking it without entering into any kind of fight at all.
that's because they haven't the ambitions people think
@jm8308 well they've just dumped £35m via buying a new share into the club, so that's that suggestion busted.
I agree with a few on here. Newcastle should go after the PL in the courts. I do think if it continues as it is now, the PIF might walk away.
City will just sue them again and they’ll have to do it again
@@alexanderhowcroft8779 don't know why nufc doesn't just do it ?
@ cos city are doing our dirty work 😂
Yes!
@@alexanderhowcroft8779 Newcastle should get their finger out. 😮

Great video Chris
I call them septic five
The PL are absolute skid marks. I'm fairly sure they over-inflate their commercial deals with Sky and the like! They HAVE to throw the book at City, or it's open season
City are one of the big 6, so in theory we have a big 5 ?
We'll be okay they will stick by us

Disagree mate. Our powers at be, want to be the best of the best.
1st.
Where is there any evidence of that?
Rubbish, they want to be number one and are moving towards that, the new stadium will be a massive step towards that.
Tell me what they have done since taking over to be number 1? sheep lol

Take them to court out side of the premier League
Got to wonder what sweetners they've offered the other teams to keep them onboard.
