There's a reason why tournaments are separated by age group. These guys would probably lose to 4.5 19+ competitors. I've personally seen (in singles) a senior pro medalist convincingly lose to someone I would assume is at least 0.5 lower in DUPR.
Seemed clear to me at 1:11(freeze frame), left foot on the line. Foot fault good call and you can see the ref staring at his feet. The player obviosly wasn't looking down as he struck the ball.
I don't understand the surprise lobs. a fair number were out or were hammered right back at them, They were winning almost every time with the dink game. Why mess with success? I understand doing a few just to give opposing team another thing to worry about but they lost too many points with these. Great games!
Great playing…both teams good but the winning team their game just flowed….great resets, dinks and kitchen play were great….good stuff
Just hit it to the guy in the orange Head shirt. He's like a 3.5
I'm relatively new to pickleball. After 3 minutes I'm questioning if this is 5.0 play.
One of the first things you need to learn is when the video looks easy, they are good. Go make a video of your play and you will see the difference.
This is closer to 4.0
As “relatively new”, can I guess that you have a tennis background?
I agree with you, although had you waited 4 minutes, you would have seen a nice point that was maybe 4.75.

Ball was in at 23:53 bad call

5.0? No way.
And moments later, his weak lob smashed down on him(proving it was a foot fault. via karma. hahhahahahaha)
