Interesting match. Lot of excellent third shot drops, but not so great 4th and 5th shots which tended to be attackable by the opponents. I think if these teams could clean that up it would help them immensely.

Serve at 4:37 is illegal.

Amazing how they can move so well so far in age. There are many 50yr olds who can’t move as well.

At 4:20 You serve (The Guy) at 5-0-2 on the right side of the court then side out, now it 0-5-1 shouldn’t the receiver(The Guy) receives form the same side that he served form at 4:415-0-2?

Definitely NOT 5.5. If so, the lady in the yellow cap would not hold a constant position at the base line. Her partner is at the kitchen line and she is glued to the base line. Naturally, the other team is putting it at her feet.

From the comments you don’t seem to know about USAPickleball Association making a change to a new rating system UTR-P. This is 4.5 using UTR-P which under the former and abandoned UTPR would be equivalent to 3.5

Nationals are UTR Rated not DUPR.

I'm Australian and while we are years behind the standard in the US I would call them solid 3.5 to 3.75. 4.0 being incredibly generous. I'm a 4.5 DUPR with a couple of hundred tournament games and I'm way better than these teams. I thought sandbagging was a thing in the US? Clearly not here 😊

I'm no fan of redefining level of play stratified by age, or even accepting ratings based on play from decades past. As we all age, our rating should slide backwards as we face the reality of slowing down. These people are very good for their age, but it would be a different match if they played 20 year olds with the same rating.
