Hello ladies, my name is Joanna also. I’m also a pastor’s wife. This podcast has been so helpful and meaty! I am chronically ill with Lyme disease and the toll it’s taken on my body. I was an energetic mom of 5 boys who are now grown up. They are all married except one who is 19. I’m so blessed with a husband and family who take care of me when I am unable and with a husband who has been faithful in sickness and in health. I’ve asked God many times for healing but God has other plans for now. I look forward to seeing His face one day and I’m so thankful that He walks with me through this. One of the things I love to ask of my sweet Abba Daddy is thatHe would hold me as a Father does his child. I imagine just being on his lap and Him stroking my hair and singing over me. Good morning! I am a new listener. So glad you popped up on my feed! Joni has made an enormous impact on so many if us, hasn't she? Thank you for sharing your visit with her with us. I love your sweet spirit. I couldn't help but notice the verse from John's Gospel on your wall. Recently, as l was reading Philippians 2, the words "sorrow upon sorrow" struck me. How often have we been so burdened that we have felt that our hearts could not contain any more sorrow and we plead for God's mercy. Shortly after reading this in Philippians l, read this verse in John ch 1, "For from His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace." How sweet that God has provided "grace upon grace" that we can endure the "sorrow upon sorrow". We are indeed blessed!🕯🕊
I will use this approach all day and night especially when I’m going for dog walks with my husband and seeet dog. Thank you Joni . Hip replacement in 1 month. Bones dying due to massive steroids post brain surgeries 5 years ago
The Lord, like food and drink is our source. Our supply. This walk is a walk of transcendence. As we abide in Him, we overcome. We are in a different realm. Praise the Lord Jesus!

My dear mercifull Lord Jesus blessed me with Leukemia and has grant me the opportunity to draw more near to him and that's how I'm able to feel his presence with me everyday and living with his peace ❤🎉🥳🥰💓🤗🛐✝🙏🕊 thank you my dear lord Jesus christ my only savior for saving me by your abundant blessings ❤ Hallelujah 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I so understand feeling like God is asking too much of my family and me. And it’s not that I want a break from obedience to Him, but a break from the never-ending barrage of attacks that come from all sides. We get knocked down and pummeled almost to the point of death (whether physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually), and just when we start reviving enough to try standing up again - BAM!!! We get slammed to the ground yet again. I can’t deal with all this pain. Oh I know what I’m “supposed to do”… but I’m not strong enough. It’s exhausting. I’m worn out. I don’t seem to have the strength to k K eep going.
I’m so sorry you’re going through this ongoing battle. Lord Jesus, merciful Savior…please wrap Your arms around my friend. Send Your warring angels to fight for her and her family! Lord, cover them with Your precious blood and holy love. I pray that You would cancel every assignment the enemy has planned against them. Most of all, draw them closer to You than they have ever been before. In Jesus’s powerful name, amen.
