@camp ed, Thanks for the general idea and enough guidance to get it done. But I'd hire a new 'camera person' to fill the frame with more than the backs of your hands and the garage floor... And... toss a drop light in there for good measure. Thanks
Thanks Camp Ed!! Knew my brakes were "going away" on my 22 yr old LT133. Once I pulled my rear wheel off you'd already put me on the right track. Couple turns off a wrench and I got brakes again. 👍👍👍
Lightweight is good and what did I use it for it’s a lawnmower ruclips.net/user/postUgkxTPN04aT-Qdjr_KS3ql7ng8wnU3wwsCqk also recommend Yes it is lightweight so hence not as robust as our old one. But if you take care it does the job really well.
I appreciate the willingness to help the rest of us but, your hands were in the way the entire time. You should re-record the video to where we can see what's going on. You're explaining things well, but there's barely a visual. I'd like to see what the actual pad looks like.
Great Video! Yes hands got in the way, but I'm not sure there was any way to help that short of making an exploded view animation out of it. Good job. - jwrit
Useless video ! About 90% of the video his hands were in the way. There many people like him with no common sense. Thank god they many other videos showing how to change brake pads!
@@martinrps13 .. The title of the video " How to replace brake pads on a John Deere lawn tractor"... NOT what it looks like fully assembled... I was looking for video to show me HOW to assembled brake pads.. But thank god they many other videos out there to show how to do it.. Just have to weed out the garbage videos to find the good ones.. Which I found a few that explained everything step by step and showed what they were doing every step of the way..

Great video of your hands
Overall good job, but where is the spacer? On my model d100 the outer pad has a metal spacer behind it?
Good video of a pair of hands, but not much of a view of what the hands are actually doing.
I got what you're doing, but yeah, hands are in the way. Sure helpful. Thx.
For the life of me I can’t find the pads online. Does anyone have a part number?
What about adjusting? If it was all the down, won’t the brakes be too tight?
Is this the same on all John Deere I have a old 180 I can't figure the year out on it
Thank you. Just replace mine. The pins were frozen had to punch the. Out and sand them
I agree with the hands comments but being that I am not a complete idiot, I still found the video helpful.
Just put new pads on following this video still no brakes even after cranking adjustment but down so far the lever wouldn’t move any ideal

Thanks buddy you make it look easy! I need breaks bad!
Thank you for the video. I found it very helpful.
I appreciate the effort but between the hands and axle it's hard to see anything actually helpful.
Make sure you don’t loose the woodruff keys or just forget to install them

where did you get your pads?
I'd try the John Deere Dealer! 7 bucks.
Great video thanks!
I would spray a little wd 40 on push pin. Make sure it moves easily.also put some anti-seize on both rear axles at this time.
We cannot see anything except for big pair of gorilla hands lol
OMG all I could see is hands- not good
Bout tha stupid a video I believe ive ever seen !!!! Get real ppl....
This video is ok if you want a video of hands.
as most videos ,cannot hear anything.
Nobody has any idea wtf youre doing! All we see are your monster hands!
pot calling the kettle black
B B no...I don’t block the camera!! Use the phrase correctly dude!
B B the majority of the comments address his hands but you only commented on mine! Hate much?
Lol , I wanted to say the same fucking thing , but my young daughter is around .
I'm pretty sure "CampEd" is an alter ego for Nick Offerman.
All I’m seeing is your hands.

Some of us don’t need to see what he is going. I came here to see what it looks like fully assembled.
