There’s this guy I found recently who films in the Bay Area. Happened to stumble upon a video of his at Harding Park as I was looking for a pre round play through. Recently Found out he’s not too far from one of my relatives. Thinking about shooting this guy a DM to get a round in, but idk if he will respond. I think his name is Dave and he bases his channel on absolute golf parfecti…. Oh wait……. 😭😭
Found your videos randomly (follow many golf channel). So far entertaining and light hearted. Keep doing what you’re doing in a way which doesn’t spoil it for you.
You & Adam are my 2 favs! It's not an X FACTOR sort of thing. For me it's that you guys are relatable, genuine and humble...keep doing what your doing and stay true!
Thanks for the deep dive. We appreciate all the hard work you put into these videos. It’s evident how much time that goes into these. As a Bay Area local, it’s been great to watch your videos prior to a round to get a good sense of the course. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before you’re A list. Just keep chipping away, do it at your pace, enjoy some golf, and time with your family 💪
Matt, I get so much appreciation out of your content. You're fun on-camera, you shoot great videos, and you're totally relatable. Thanks for going to such great lengths to give us this type of content.
You do a great job on your videos! Love your real life good natured comments. Your knowledge of the game may not be obvious but it is there and should not be taken for granted. These are the reason I watch you! I don't really watch any local golf you tubers regularly-just you. I like to watch Hannah Holden, Michelle Low, Jonathan Kim-Moss, and Amy Cho. I like that they are each themselves and are effective communicators, know the game. Appreciate the effort you put in!
Appreciate the transparency on this topic man! YT has always been something that I've wanted to do for the longest time and I did give it a couple tries on other topics in years past, but once I got into golf, I knew I finally had to give it a go. Finally started it this year after and it's definitely filled that creative side for me (better than IG, I'd say). But yeah man, I still always watch your stuff and keep up the grind!
Great content! Enjoy watching your videos. Loved the Dublin Ranch one since I live near by. We are the same handiap and would enjoy playing a round with you if your out in the East Bay again!
New sub here.. thanks for all the advice.. I’ll watch some of the golf content as well. Thanks for letting us know what it’s like to be a golf content creator. Would like to get into it myself - mainly as accountability to get better. I know there are other ways to be accountable but this truly pushes you outside of your comfort zone..
Love the insight! It's such a grind when YOU are the one who is recording and editing videos! Especially with a family and full time job! My biggest envy for bigger channels is that they have people to film them golf, so they can just focus on golf, and people to edit the content! We are lightyears away from receiving any compensation haha
Always love your content and relevancy to us in the bay area. I'm trying to get to some of the courses up in the north bay, but have played most in the area. There seem to be some good ones up there in Napa and beyond. Yocha Dehe is a must, I think you'd really enjoy it!
AMEN. Preach brother. Its a tough grind and also hard to keep up with when your working full time + freelancing full time! Plus LIFE haha. You said it best, we said the same thing. we put a solid 2 years into it and it took up a good chunk of time, on both sides and we couldn't juggle it anymore. Something for both of us had to give and because it was just a hobby and not really generating any income (youtube, tiktok, IG, discord, etc...) so we just said it was fun while it lasted. As much as we want to make a comback, its been super hard with scheduling + other life shit. But dont get me wrong, i would love to do this as my main source of income, but we just didnt get there!
Erik Anders Lang adventures in golf series (makes me want to travel), collaboration videos with Rick Shields and Peter Finch (enjoy the banter), Not a scratch golfer (the story of his health just made me care, plus pratical tips for course management), Golf Parfection (relatable golf, courses i play and mellow commentary). St Andres golf (the shorts make me laugh)
Who are your favorite golf content creators and why?
Golf Sidekick and Golf Parfection
@@NotAScratchGolfer That guy with a funky swing and great short game isn't too bad either.
Other then you I would say 831Golf, BDS and Bryan Bros. Also, would love to see Mulligan Golfers videos again.

@notascratchgolfer @tacogolf adam and taco are the best!
Honestly. The fact that it took less than 2 mins to answer the question in the title is worth the sub alone. Thank you

That is the dream! A person to do all the non golf stuff would be awesome. All the best on your journey 🤙

Love the content. If you’re ever up in Sonoma County let’s play!
I need to go up to that area I haven't played many courses north of SF!
