If you're new to the channel, I've got plenty more GW2 content on here. Feel free to check it out :) You can now also become a member of the channel to get a badge next to your name alongside other perks! ruclips.net/channel/UCqOvX342zkCedYYj3aPNWvgjoin Of course, I'm already happy if you choose to watch my videos but if you ever want to support the channel directly and also get something out of it, you can now do so!
I would also recommend farming your Guild Hall nodes. Its the easiest way to get mats for crafting and leveling crafting without spending (that much) gold.
I login 10 minutes before Tequatl, then it's a mad scramble to try and get as much done as possible, from Teq -> Pinata -> Leyline anomaly -> Chak gerent -> Octovine. After that, I would do dailies, followed by some quick Bjora chests, provisioner tokens, and if I still have time, the Shatterer in Jahai. I would afk and do chores inbetween the down times, and sometimes I just can't find a map for Pinata or Leyline, so I skip them. And on weekends where I have more time, I would either do raiding, living worlds, key farming, working on another legendary, or if I had a few hours to kill I would hop into WvW. Strangely, I've managed to avoid doing fractals almost entirely, and only on personal level 70. It just never really caught my attention, and I preferred the comraderies that came with 10-man static teams from raids and strikes. Call me old fashioned, but I haven't touched any of the meta farming methods since Istan, and prefer familiar content over new ones.
Cool. I'm a fairly new player. What do you get from teq, pinata, leyline, chak and octovine that you might need? I get the feeling that eventually you have the things you'd need if you do it long enough. Or do they give things that you consume or use for crafting on a regular basis? I just do some of the events cuz i find them cool haha currently i'm running low of the empyreal fragments
What is your daily gw2 routine? A word on raids which I touch upon towards the end of the video: This is of course technically weekly content, I still figured it’s worth including since it’s part of a particular gameplay loop where you do the same thing regularly :)
1) leveled all professions to lvl 80. 2) play which I want at that moment (adhd) 3) Do Fractal Dailies by asking from Guild if people want to join. We have 5 people who want to do Tier 4 but I'm always happy to do lower tiers. 4) Ask if Guild Mates need help and want to co-op 5) Do Guild Things like Guild Missions and one Raid once a week 6) Or at any point after 2 do anything else GW2 offers. Like PvP, WvW, Jumping puzzles (yes, I like jumping puzzles), Achievement hunting, Story, Griffon unlocking, Open World Metas, Elite Specialization unlocking (if I play character and want that elite spec like dear devil or herald next), Exploring, 100% maps, Dragon Respons Missions, Strikes, Dungeons ....... and what else can you do? Easier to say I'm not doing Legendary items yet ;) Do you play EU or NA? probably NA so we can't play together, else I would have asked if you would like to try CM100 with me xD as I have yet to finish that my self...
- Login after reset - TD Gerent meta - sometimes AB Octo meta - DS meta - 3 PVE dailies (unless WWW Big Spender is up, then buy 3 catapult plans from WWW vendor) - farm full home instance (incl. charged quartz) > farm guild hall > go to Drizzlewood and buy all daily commendations - alt: Draconis Mons flax farm - alt: Bjora chests location#1 - alt: Bjora chests location #2 - alt: Malchor's Leap elder wood cluster - alt artificer & armorer: flax > linseed oil, flowers > metabolic primer, ecto daily refinement
How do I stick with a single class? I know GW2 is alt friendly but the story quests and world completion are killing me since I switch constantly. I'm at 30-60% world complete on half a dozen characters. I also only finished personal story on like 2 and none finished living world quests yet. I find them boring and again I swap characters so often I can't follow the storyline. I like something about all classes tbh. How do you stick with one!?
I don't. However, you'll have to accept that you can't do everything on every character. World completion is completely optional and so is playing the story. What I do is, use one character to play through Heart of Thorns, another character for Living World or PoF, etc. This way you can still follow the story chronologically but can switch classes as often as you'd like.
for me its log in reward, home instance, trees at Malchor's Leap (sometimes i run around Pagga's Waypoint for a few minutes gathering rocks and trees), flax north of Allied Encampment Waypoint in Kourna, grapes in southern Fields of Ruin, whatever the 3 dailies are to get the 2 gold and 10 achievement points, 1 or 2 games of pvp, festival daily if there is a festival going on, if octovine, chak gerent, doppelganger, branded shatterer, or dragonstand is going on i will do those (not all of them maybe one of them prioritizing octovine). this sounds like a lot but takes less than an hour and sometimes that's all i have time to do. When its the weekend and i have more time i usually go achievement hunting in the living world maps. i have some of them done and one day i will work to get all achievements in the story instances. i have season 2 done and the first act of path of fire completely done so there is still A LOT to get
I do the same! CM's, t4's and recs, home instance and my daily pvp pips for my leggy collection! I would add tho, do your PSNA dailies. It helps a lot when u need those t6 mats for leggies. Farm your guild hall as well! Lastly, if you're not that into a ton of alt parking.. park only 2 alts at the crystal oasis and farm 20 quartz crystal, then get your home instance the obelisk shard and quartz node from the laurel merchant - that way whenever youre farming your home instance you also get to charge 25 quartz. It's used for crafting the most profitable daily craftable item - grow lamp.
I have a morning breakfast meta run; Verdant brink , Ley Line Anomaly, Tangled Depths, Auric Basin, Home instance. After that some PvE/WvW dailies and then off to work, sometimes I manage to get the dailies done in between the metas and even do the pact supply karma thingies. So far I´ve enjoyed that rhythm but soon I will change it since we have the change to summer time. Keeps the days fresh.
Log in, Choya Piñata, Leyline Anomaly, Tangled Depths meta, Auric Basin meta, buy provisioner tokens (2 min - 5 globs of ectoplasm in Lion's Arch, 1 Chak Egg Tangled Depths), fuse Quartz Crystals, farm home instance, mine quartz crystal on alts, daily, consider farming eternal ice shards on Bjora Marches, craft lump of mithrilium and glob of elder residue, check Ley-Energy Matter Converter, and that's usually it. Sometimes this list is lengthened or extended depending on how much time I have.
One thing I like to add are quicker meta events like octovine, dragonstorm, chak gerent, etc. I'd love to be able to do dragons end for the daily stone, but groups aren't super consistent at the time when I have the time to do it. I check the event timers page frequently to find bigger events to do.
T1: (I try to do this no matter what. Even if I'm totally bored w GW2 and playing some other game) Log in rewards on all accounts. On main account: Craft Elder Spirit Residue and Lump of Mithrillium every day. (Leather if I have enough.) Get crowbar and T3-6 mats from Ley-energy converter when avail. T2: (I try to fit this in when I am playing GW2, but don't have the time for barely anything) Farm half decent home instance every day. Charge quartz. Re-sew asc food seed. Re-craft asc seedpouch as needed. Provisioner Token from Black Cit. (I no longer need the full tour) T3: (I am playing GW2 and have the time for a more comprehensive routine) Use "eaters" (for bloodstone etc) as needed. Turn bauble stacks in as needed Farm parked toons in Bjora Farm flax parked toons DO HOLIDAY EVENT DAILIES! when available. \o/ T4: (only when I really feel like over-house-keeping) Multibox my main's home instance, but only very targeted nodes (never worry about quartz) From Gilded Hollow: Guild Hall mats, Drytop farm, (Pact supply vendor as avail), extra VB flax (this is one quick swoop) Farm Southsun JP parked toon Farm wood at toon parked at Malchor's (I do this and southsun more for fun than need these days.) Whittle at guild hall treasury needs if I have mats to spare RIP: Sunken treasure. WvW tickets. (I don't have to worry about these anymore and let them trickle in naturally) I don't mess with regular dailies, fractals or Strike missions anymore and I don't feel like I'm missing anything.
I think you miss out the Leyline Anormally, which take like only 3 mins for a mystic coin + some junks that sell for an ok amount. Some people also do the Easy 3 Strikes, which is pretty quick
I'm such a casual nowadays! I had to make a new account altogether 6 months ago after not playing at all since before Hot. The old account is with an ex and now way of getting it back. Now I leveled my Asura necromancer again and played through almost all of the story. I purchased all the living world stuff because the story has always been what I have mainly wanted out of Gw2. I was really heavy into WvW back in the day, being from shortly after launch for about 2 1/2 years. Like, really. We had a team, trained together and had matches with other teams. I had Dungenmaster, all JPs done and was knee deep into fraktals. I had my first Legendary in the making, maxed out all professions and collected almost all dyes and soooo many minis. Than live happened. In good ways but keeping me busy otherwise. Now I regained a little time and started playing again. And I love it. It's nothing like it was. I haven't set foot in an instance, the mists or a fractal. I only do world bosses and meta events when I stumble over them. But I'm almost through the story, have 5 accended items and still love theoriecrafting, trying out builds and optimize my toon. But now in small ways. But I love it! I'm never bored. Always something to gather, find, solve... Collections, JPs, Dailys, Story, Crafting.... I feel no wish for alts as of now but I am sure that will change. Who knows what I'll do next? And isn't that the best thing for a game to be, something new every time you start playing again.
Returning after a long break is so much fun! Had the pleasure myself about half a year ago when I started this channel. It can be overwhelming but at the same time there is so much to play through making it suoer engaging.
Log in, ley-line converter and similar items, home instance, guild hall, matriarch in VB followed by pinata, loot chest in Tarir on successful map, vendor in Drizzlewood, easy WvW dailies (reward track potions) and maybe some PVP.
I've started using the Drizzlewood vendor since a few days as well. Don't care so much for the profit but I realised that way 8 can get some more easy IBS Mastery Points.
Something you can do to generate more yield from the home instance garden is to use an item booster (or heroic booster) as well as a bounty glyph/karma bounty harvesting tools. This will let you get 9 cultivated herbs per plot of 4 on average, and makes it seriously worth it. (or if you have only bounty or only the booster you will get 7 on average). To be able to use the booster for the home instance consistently I have a separate character that only farms my home instance, so the booster doesn't tick down in between farming sessions when not logged in to that character. Bounty glyph ONLY procs on the garden in the home instance, it doesn't do anything on all the other nodes, so you would be better off using something like a volatile magic glyph for those.
Awesome as always! Glad you joined, we still do CM trainings as well bro, ask slyfer or severan in the discord! And hope you can join my group on wednesdays as well. Cool vid will be sharing it in the discord!
I Think you shoudl really try Strikes full clear, because they're not that time consuming and at the end you receive +250 crystals that can be traded for that currency that gives you volatile magic and exchange them with trophy shipments , and we all know that gives a lot of money ! :D i always get +10g doin strikes(if i choose not to keep T6s) , sorry for bad englando.
Hmm I guess I never realized that they give end up making you money since it is a bit of a convoluted path to get there. It's a lot simpler with fractals, you just open the encryptions and you get flooded with gold :D I'm currently waiting to see what changes EoD ends up bringing to Strikes.
@@MasterOfNoneGaming the thing is, strikes as of now are so damn easy and anyone can do them!! they really can and its super fast , more fast than fractals and you dont need the gear with expensive agony resistance
Personally, I also like to participate from time to time in ley line anomaly world boss, since for the first time in a day you kill this boss you get awarded with mystic coin, which is especially crucial if you are planning to make legendaries. Or you can sell them for easy 2g-2.5g per day(you also get bauble which costs 0.5g) :)
My daily routine consists of getting the gold medal time on all the official beetle tracks for the racing medallions. The reason being is that people wanting to build guild hall tracks need a kind of ridiculous number of track pieces and are willing to pay gold for them. Current prices are 2 gold per track piece. Without doing the race event, it's possible to get 63 racing medallions a day which equates to about 10 gold per day on average. Which isn't bad imo. One of the big reasons I do it though is that it is excellent practice for the beetle. Very good for keeping your skills sharp and preventing getting rusty.
@@MasterOfNoneGaming It depends on how much advanced tech I decide to use. But it's usually around 20 minutes. The gold times are fairly lenient so I can usually get away with a couple crashes but I like trying to get a fast time so sometimes I have to reset runs. I'm sure if I decided to use a consistent strat that never fails for each run I could cut the time down a bit more but I like to practise my advanced tech.
As a person how has 70% of the home instance nodes, is sooooo tedious to farm that every single day, I do regret some times of the gold/time spent there
+ visiting guild halls for more mats + go to vedors and buy tocens for legendary armour + craft ascended time limit things like quarz crystals + buy 30 fractal keys discounted + feed some blood stone etc creatures u get from ertain achievments
Some great points to increase your daily income! I don't do them regurarly enough tough since I'm too lazy most of the time (especially for daily crafting)
Daily routine: logging in on all accounts Home instance, farm patches across the world, guild halls and then put in lfg someone with full home since mine is only 60% fulm. While I'm waiting I clean up my bag, talk in the chats with the guilds. Then daily bosses: pinata (infusion) , leyline anomaly (daily mc), and then I look for squads that doing a train in lfg. Monday and sunday guildmissions, wednesday eod metas and thursday DE meta, friday keyfarm and some fractals. Monday and Saturday flying workshops for griffon and saturday doing some chilling in LA after the workshop and do random things with people 😅 And much more..
doing Daily's, Fractal,World boss is mostly what i do at all during my day. if i feel like it i spend a 1-3 hours farming Chests in BitterFrost its smooth and make you easy money. if i can earn 50g per day with only 1 character its enough. Im not in a rush for Legendary since Ascended is almost the same anyway.
For mine it looks like: Octovine Meta > t4 fractal dailies > Few PvP matches > Crafting Dailies and Quartz Charging. It's mostly a gold chasing routine, but it still gives me a chance to have fun in both PvE and PvP.
My routine is VB Matriarch, CO Pinata, TF Leyline Anomaly. Then watch last night's Daily Show & Late Show while taking 35+ characters from one easy Tier 6 chest in FR to another easy one in FS for Legendary mats so I never have to buy them on TP when I make a Legendary. I can now count the number of Legendaries I still need quicker than I can count those I already have.
@@aoc450 In the East of Fireheart Rise there is a mini-dungeon inside a set of canyons with bandits called Rebel's Seclusion. There is a T6 chest at the end. You can easily cheeze past everything with a Skyscale from the WP. In Frostgorge Sound there is a JP called Shattered Ice to the right of the Ice Flow Waypoint. If you have a Skyscale you can fly directly from the Waypoint, up the wall and over to cheeze this JP and get directly to the T6 Chest.
My Daily Routine usually looks like this: - logging in with all Accounts to accept the rewards (and since it is lunar new year event I buy on every acc the envelopes) - doing an Infusion-Run (Pinata, TD, Auric Basin, Death Branded Shatterer, Drakkar) with two Accounts (one can only do the Run till AB since it does not have the other Maps) ~ Pinata gives me Elegy Mosaics, which are needed for Vision ~ Pinata, TD, Auric Basin gives the Gemstone, which are needed for Vision but is also worth some Silver ~ Auric Basin is good for loot! ~ Doing TMs during downtime in TD and AB (for a Chance of getting the invisble Shoes) ~ Getting Stuff for Legy Armor from TD and AB (Chak Egg, Auric Ingots / Auric Silver) ~ Chance of getting Infusions - CMs + T4 (Recs) with friends and afterwards doing all strikes (-fs -cw) + Dragonstorm (for a chance of Infusion or the accended greatsword, gift of aurene) ~ Salvaging Accended Rings I get from Fractals (after attuning the rings) ~The Ice Shards you can get from Strikes will be exchanged for other currency to consume them for magic, so I can buy the Trophy Shipments :) ~ Tyrian Defense Seals I receive from DS will be exchanged for Supply Boxes - Buying Provisioner Tokens (- Sometimes doing WvW for Daily; Roaming) - Infusion Run usually takes ~2 hours - Fractals usually take a little more than 1 hour (we do skip a lot if possible :D ) - Strikes + DS take ~30 minutes (Somtimes I do skip the Infusion Run but I always try to do at least Fractals, Strikes and DS every day) I also try to do weekly FCs (Raids) w/ 5 CMs on two Accounts ~ It gives roughly 60+ Gold per Account ~ 5 CMs gives you extra 10g + Provisioner Tokens + Raid Currency
How long have you been doing this consistently? Personally I'd burn out super fast this way but that's also mainly becaise I played way too much when the game originally came out :D
@@MasterOfNoneGaming I've been doing this consistently for roughly 3-4 months now. Before I did that 'routine' I had been super active in WvW (Roaming) mainly for Conflux, which I got now. And thanks to the guild I have joined, I have started to enjoy Roaming in WvW a lot (which is, why I sometimes do WvW Dailies). But after Conflux my goal was to get the other legendary trinkets. First I have simply done CMs + T4, Strikes and DS + my weekly Raid FC w/ 5 CMs ( I have been raiding for almost 2 years now) for gold, currency and mats ( I am also aiming for fractal god). Far far in the past I did more Meta Runs than fractals. And now, for 3-4 months I have combined them. Raids, Fractals, Strikes and DS never really get tired for me, especially if playing with friends (Alone I probably wont do them). The Infusion Run is kinda the critical point in which I can get fast bored or lose my motivation (because I do them alone :D ), which is, why I sometimes dont do them. But since I need certain stuff like the Gemstones and Elegy Mosaics (and I am too lazy to do legy bounties), I have decided to focus on doing the Infusion Run a bit more, so I can do Vision after I have finished my 2. set of legy PvE Armor. And hey, maybe one day in the futur I get an Infusion xD I usually do play a lot for a few months because I have a goal to reach and then after reaching it, I do a break for months :D But now I have a huge goal of getting all legendary trinkets (Only missing Vision now), the other 2 Sets of Legy Armor, Legy Runes + Sigills, and I probably wont stop until I got them. And also EoD is about to arrive, which hypes me a bit ^^ In general - as long as I have a goal, I will play :D And also, I am in 2 different Raid Statics (Normal Chill Clear + Speedclear) and especially the speedclear static is motivating me to continue raiding since I want to get better ^^
my daily is a lot more similar to what yours is but i don't do much fractals , i work on pvp legendary armor and wvw legendary armor :D , so most of the time i roam in wvw on my ranger
Usually I go on and continue my story, I'm now on lw4. Then I'll waste a couple hours trying to finish those story achievements and get frustrated because I have to redo the entire instance after one mistake, because I'm frustrated I'll distract myself with other achievements such as seasons of the dragons. I always skip dailies because iv played enough gacha games to know how those can burn you out entirely.
I always play alone now ;p And I love doing world bosses. If I'm testing new builds or new gear sets, I can do the same boss 2-3 times within a day lol. My routine in GW2 is from the reset: TEQ=>Chak=>Drakkar, After that, it depends. If the meta of Bloodstone fen is happening I'll do that too, I'm a proud supporter in that event lol but the timing is not fixed so if I don't see it I would turn to do daily ascended crafting or festival daily (I don't really do the regular PVE daily bcz I always forget it LOL). Recently, I start to do WvW to get some skins, so I would spend 1 or 2 on it. 3:02 about the selectable ascended items, do you consider those from the Bloodstone fen map?@@ Bcz they can also be reset so if you are trying some uncommon states then you don't like the outcome. You can reset those blood ruby Rings/Backpacks/Amulets with "Bloodstone Capacitor" which can reset all the blood ruby items in your bag at once(but it will destroy the infusions that you put in those items) then you don't need to buy the new one again :D
I find bloodrubies a lot harder to farm so I tend ti avoid getting those trinkets eventhough you can reset them. Instead i get the winterberry ones if I need a second ring since I have plenty of those and it's a quick farm.
It is easier to say what I have not done. HoT nor living season stories, Roller Beetle nor Skyscale and Legendary item craftin. Those are things I have yet to do. I think I have tipped my toe on everything else. I have some crafting professions 500/500, did some or all of Dungeons, Fractals, Dragons Response Missions, Strikes and Raids. I have done a lot of jumping puzzles as I'm rare breed who likes them (no skips, or mesmer). I finished Path of Fire Story and have slowly been getting Griffon. I hunted Ascended Staff and Hammer from HoT achievements. I have almost 3 sets of full Ascended between 2x light and 1x medium armor :D still missing heavy. I did few matches in PvP as Necromancer and maybe once Tempest. I have played WvW as I have points for it but I can't remember doing them past year. I also have almost done all Fractals, CM100 missing, mostly because "you must play meta" well F u to :D That reminds me ... Next Raid I'm Raid Leading as a noob I'm gonna play "dps condi blood magic Scourge" (raid training 15k dps) on two bosses, "dps power holosmith" (raid training 30k dps) on 3 bosses and "Hand Kiter Soulbeast" on last boss we might try. Wing 1 first two bosse for legendary items and wing 4 ...
Just got back in the game. Haven’t played since HoT launch. My account was hacked and deleted so I created a new one and started leveling my warrior back up. Hoping that once I get to max I can find a guild and play with others. Until then it looks like it’s a solo grind for me :(
This is the guild I joined recently (EU): bit.ly/GsiSInvite (discord invite) If you're interested, I'm sure they'll be happy to have you and invite you ingame.
I love your video!!! It's really nice! My routine is basically : Home + daily in PVE sonce I don't like PvP... But I think about making the PvP legendary armor tho... When I'm really motivated I do Tequatl + Karka queen + Anomaly + Chack Regent + octovine + whatever I find a train doing. I do all at reset since I'm in Canada but I play on European server since the first GW, because I wasn't bilingual and on American server is only english. Now I can play in English but I have many French gaming friends 😅
About legendary armor and not burning yourself out If your grinding for the legendary armor set I recommend the 9 season approach over the 3 season approach mainly because farming chests can get grating especially given you need to do the repeateble chest 12 times after finishing the season 3 times it might take longer but farming all non repeateble ones like 1 chest a day or longer depends on how much time you have to play is much more relaxed less frustrating Then forcing yourself to complete the repeateble chests 12 times the reason I almost burned out of the game once
Totally! I basically ended up doing the same thing except for when I felt I was really close to completing it. At that point I just powered through it with a couple drinks over the weekend lol
Since you're new, I'm assuming you are still in T1. A while back I've introduced my brother to fractals and found that the T1 groups in lfg fill up super quick. So my advise is to just make your own lfg and it should fill up in no time! Of course there is also the option to join a guild and ask there. The guild I've joined recently has quite a few people that help out if you ask. You can join the discord and ask for an invite if you'd like: bit.ly/GsiSInvite
While they are a great resource, It is possible to skip them and still do everything you want to do in the game except triple infuse rings on a bunch of alts.
Fractals and maybe working towards next legendary i just completed Pharus to go with the Seasons of Dragons necklace. I am a core ranger main and the longbow just seemed easiest to start with. I also get the leyline anomaly daily to add to next project when i can save up more mystic clovers.
I can see that. However, I often see the exact same people insulting left and right whenever they start losing and I'm just not going to spend energy on that.
@@MasterOfNoneGaming I agree. I believe I comprehend your statement with you suggesting to simply mute a person from the first sign or msg of toxicity. Instead of at least trying to find a middle ground, as they are a team member.
1) Blocking someone is not censoring them - censoring involves removing their ability to interact with other people based on your choice; blocking only removes them from interacting with the blocker. 2) Frustration is an internal feeling; turning your frustration outward into angry ranting at others is something entirely different.
I discourage blocking unless it's gold sellers or people who really are spamming. I encourage anybody to foster a psychologically stronger iteration of themselves. If a mere idea somebody is presenting bothers you, maybe there is something about yourself you should re-consider. If somebody is being baselessly toxic, it won't bother you. Furthermore, I am astounded by people who openly boast about people they're blocking. I see it often. Basically it's people bragging about their own mental fragility. Don't be that guy.
The beauty of GW2 as a notorious ON-OFF-Player of MMOs is frankly that it has no sub and no matter what I can always return to it whenever I feel like it.
If there is 1 thing that you should be doing that you're probably not, it's buying a PROVISIONER TOKEN from the Black Citidel (at least) every day. (until you don't need to)
I've got enough for one set of armor a while back at which point I stopped getting them. Might pick it up again at some point but it will be a while before I finish even one set, so for now I'm good. Great tip for people who are eyeing legendary armor though! Easier to get that going early.
There is a specific daily that needs a ranked match and honestly, there is no reason not to play ranked (except if you want to queue with more than 2 friends). After 10 games you will be put into a bracket anyway and will end up with people with similar skill level. Ranked is much more rewarding! You get additional gold every so often and work towards ascended/legendary equipment.
Daily routines are the things that kill your game fun the fastest. If it doesnt appeal to you doing it, stop doing it. The earlier you realize this, the faster you are doing fun things :)
It's always a bit of a double-edged sword for sure. On one hand daily tasks can give you a direction, stuff to work towards and usually provide the most "efficient" rewards for your time spent. On the other hand, as you said, you can slide into a habit that you don't actually enjoy. So yeah, I'm totally with you! :D Especially in a game like GW2 where for a lot of people the daily grind isn't attached to player power, there is even less reason to force yourself. Just do what's fun for you.
Honestly, after 2k hours (of mostly fractals and wvw ), these past 2 years i've only been logging in for the rewards, looking for duels in wvw, and logging off, i'm not much of an achievement/legendary hunter so there's isnt much the game offers, hoping they add many more pve encounters, we need some fresh content pls EOD dont disappoint :(
I was achiev's hunter, but last month i was doing just this routine and realize, is this really the way you should play game? It will make you slave :D And i moved on single player games with great story :D
Dailies can definitely have that effect. That's why I say don't sweat about it too much. If you have fun doing them, it gives you stuff to do but if not, you are not missing out on a huge amount.
it can be. i used to do full raid clears every week, for months (6+ months). t4 + recs and cm fracs everyday... for months. all strikes everyday for months. the mystic coin event every day... theres so much u can do daily, its actually impossible to get it all done, if you dont spend a full work day on doing all of it. nowadays i dont even play the game anymore. sometimes i login, collect the login reward, realize i have done everything in the game and log off. i definitely cant go back to doing the same fracs, strikes or raids everyday again, i cant take it anymore.
So my daily is different than anyone on here If it is fast I do the daily (no pvp here) under 10m, always do Mystic Forge on daily all 3 accounts Check to see daily LS3 if fasrt i grab them GH gathering, check to see if leader has put anything in processor VB TD DM Flax, Pagga WP run round grab trees, ore, kill 10 Krait, buy keys @Drizzlewood Load mule loot JP this toon moves around with needs... Log bank toon- 4 converters & get a crowbar, charged quartz, Provisioner token with Obsidian Log main craft time gated Ascended, Weekly looks like fractals 2x, thru silver tier in WvW, key farm, buy fractal keys, psna, do a lap with Krait Keys, craft Ascended Zojja Log my 2 alt accounts grab 3 JPs on each, kill 10 krait again on 1 account, Weekly xfer over the loot from JPs and Laurels/MC
My daily routine consists of logging into 9 accounts, getting the daily login rewards, and buying the lucky envelopes to sell them. Easy 5G per account per day for ~30secs of effort
my daily routine: - login - accept the daily login reward - realize theres still no new endgame pve content after several years - play a match of pvp, if im feeling it - realize how ridiculous the pvp meta is - watch ppl flame each each other or go afk - stand around in divinitys reach, trying to find a reason to not uninstall the game - logout repeat, bc theres no other good enough mmo to start.
That is correct. What you see are my total AP which is not relevant for the cap. If you mouse over them, you see how many points you got from dailies (and monthlies if you've played since release) and how many points from other sources. Currently you can get a total of 15k AP from Dalies and Monthlies.
@@MasterOfNoneGaming I haven't been getting it for a loong time and I'm at total 30,482, 13.245 pts at dailies. You must be doing something right. And yes, I've played since release
@@IceCommander1111 Have you checked how many you got from monthlies way back then? Because they used to give a lot and if you've done many in the past, you'll hit the cap a lot quicker. I myself have only about 1k AP from monthlies.
If you are a brand new gamer who's never played GW2 in the past 9.5 years, you would have a good time. Beware of the paywalls though, $30 to buy the game + $55 for dlc story chapters and bag slots for $5 each. It's no different than a cheap korean mmo in that regard. Oh and the development is shit. Newest expansion is trash compared to the previous ones, group PVE is non existent and abandoned. PVP is full of bots and not enjoyable. This game is full of cash shop whales, shills and fanboys. If you are a serious mmo or even rpg gamer, stay away. You've been warned!
If you're new to the channel, I've got plenty more GW2 content on here. Feel free to check it out :)
You can now also become a member of the channel to get a badge next to your name alongside other perks!

My daily routine is wandering around from event to event, getting distracted by almost anything that moves
You described me. First time in Heart of thorns. Uuuuu look, tiny little raptors. Dead
I would also recommend farming your Guild Hall nodes. Its the easiest way to get mats for crafting and leveling crafting without spending (that much) gold.
Also 1-2 Obsidian shard will drop :)
2) play which I want at that moment (adhd)
3) Do Fractal Dailies by asking from Guild if people want to join. We have 5 people who want to do Tier 4 but I'm always happy to do lower tiers.
4) Ask if Guild Mates need help and want to co-op
5) Do Guild Things like Guild Missions and one Raid once a week
6) Or at any point after 2 do anything else GW2 offers.
Easier to say I'm not doing Legendary items yet ;)
Do you play EU or NA? probably NA so we can't play together, else I would have asked if you would like to try CM100 with me xD as I have yet to finish that my self...
- Login after reset
- TD Gerent meta
- sometimes AB Octo meta
- DS meta
- 3 PVE dailies (unless WWW Big Spender is up, then buy 3 catapult plans from WWW vendor)
- farm full home instance (incl. charged quartz) > farm guild hall > go to Drizzlewood and buy all daily commendations
- alt: Draconis Mons flax farm
- alt: Bjora chests location#1
- alt: Bjora chests location #2
- alt: Malchor's Leap elder wood cluster
- alt artificer & armorer: flax > linseed oil, flowers > metabolic primer, ecto daily refinement
This way you can still follow the story chronologically but can switch classes as often as you'd like.
usually login > dailies > work towards achievements I've highlited, and that's plenty enough!
for me its log in reward, home instance, trees at Malchor's Leap (sometimes i run around Pagga's Waypoint for a few minutes gathering rocks and trees), flax north of Allied Encampment Waypoint in Kourna, grapes in southern Fields of Ruin, whatever the 3 dailies are to get the 2 gold and 10 achievement points, 1 or 2 games of pvp, festival daily if there is a festival going on, if octovine, chak gerent, doppelganger, branded shatterer, or dragonstand is going on i will do those (not all of them maybe one of them prioritizing octovine). this sounds like a lot but takes less than an hour and sometimes that's all i have time to do.
When its the weekend and i have more time i usually go achievement hunting in the living world maps. i have some of them done and one day i will work to get all achievements in the story instances. i have season 2 done and the first act of path of fire completely done so there is still A LOT to get
wvw, 50% roaming and duelling, other 50% zerging in big groups. : )
And I still can do it for hours and hours, still after 5k h playtime.
The important note is literally the most important note that every guildwars player needs to understand. Great video.
Even if I'm totally bored w GW2 and playing some other game)
Log in rewards on all accounts.
On main account: Craft Elder Spirit Residue and Lump of Mithrillium every day. (Leather if I have enough.)
Get crowbar and T3-6 mats from Ley-energy converter when avail.
T2: (I try to fit this in when I am playing GW2, but don't have the time for barely anything)
Farm half decent home instance every day. Charge quartz. Re-sew asc food seed.
Re-craft asc seedpouch as needed.
Provisioner Token from Black Cit. (I no longer need the full tour)
T3: (I am playing GW2 and have the time for a more comprehensive routine)
Use "eaters" (for bloodstone etc) as needed.
Turn bauble stacks in as needed
Farm parked toons in Bjora
Farm flax parked toons
DO HOLIDAY EVENT DAILIES! when available. \o/
T4: (only when I really feel like over-house-keeping)
Multibox my main's home instance, but only very targeted nodes (never worry about quartz)
From Gilded Hollow: Guild Hall mats, Drytop farm, (Pact supply vendor as avail), extra VB flax (this is one quick swoop)
Farm Southsun JP parked toon
Farm wood at toon parked at Malchor's (I do this and southsun more for fun than need these days.)
Whittle at guild hall treasury needs if I have mats to spare
RIP: Sunken treasure. WvW tickets. (I don't have to worry about these anymore and let them trickle in naturally)
I don't mess with regular dailies, fractals or Strike missions anymore and I don't feel like I'm missing anything.
I think you miss out the Leyline Anormally, which take like only 3 mins for a mystic coin + some junks that sell for an ok amount. Some people also do the Easy 3 Strikes, which is pretty quick
It takes more than 3min, usually people would stand on the map 10min earlier in order to have a good instance
It can be overwhelming but at the same time there is so much to play through making it suoer engaging.
i have 15 weapons and 3 jewels
Just the other day i was thinking about what the experienced people do everyday ingame. Thank you!
Thank you for watching!
Also since the expansion is almost upon us, I thought it would be fun to include some EoD beta gameplay in the background.
That's a great tip! Thanks for sharing
I don‘t know if u see that, but i like everything in this vid. Great!!! Your voice is so calm, nice bro.
Glad you enjoyed!
It's a lot simpler with fractals, you just open the encryptions and you get flooded with gold :D
I'm currently waiting to see what changes EoD ends up bringing to Strikes.
@@MasterOfNoneGaming the thing is, strikes as of now are so damn easy and anyone can do them!! they really can and its super fast , more fast than fractals and you dont need the gear with expensive agony resistance
Definitely true. I just haven't enjoyed them as much as fractals but will for sure jump back in soon.
Personally, I also like to participate from time to time in ley line anomaly world boss, since for the first time in a day you kill this boss you get awarded with mystic coin, which is especially crucial if you are planning to make legendaries. Or you can sell them for easy 2g-2.5g per day(you also get bauble which costs 0.5g) :)
no longer 2-2.5g/day from a MC xD
@@georgefron7163 Took bad the LLA doesn't drop ASS
My daily routine consists of getting the gold medal time on all the official beetle tracks for the racing medallions. The reason being is that people wanting to build guild hall tracks need a kind of ridiculous number of track pieces and are willing to pay gold for them. Current prices are 2 gold per track piece. Without doing the race event, it's possible to get 63 racing medallions a day which equates to about 10 gold per day on average. Which isn't bad imo. One of the big reasons I do it though is that it is excellent practice for the beetle. Very good for keeping your skills sharp and preventing getting rusty.
How long does it take you to get gold on all the tracks?
@@MasterOfNoneGaming It depends on how much advanced tech I decide to use. But it's usually around 20 minutes. The gold times are fairly lenient so I can usually get away with a couple crashes but I like trying to get a fast time so sometimes I have to reset runs. I'm sure if I decided to use a consistent strat that never fails for each run I could cut the time down a bit more but I like to practise my advanced tech.
Oh that's pretty decent then indeed!
As a person how has 70% of the home instance nodes, is sooooo tedious to farm that every single day, I do regret some times of the gold/time spent there
Oh I didn't even think about that aspect but you're right! I'd probably also feel more obligated to gather everything then.
+ visiting guild halls for more mats
+ go to vedors and buy tocens for legendary armour
+ craft ascended time limit things like quarz crystals
+ buy 30 fractal keys discounted
+ feed some blood stone etc creatures u get from ertain achievments
Some great points to increase your daily income! I don't do them regurarly enough tough since I'm too lazy most of the time (especially for daily crafting)
@@MasterOfNoneGaming thanks.those things cost me just 5min time.and its worth
@@Strategister a lot of things "worth" it just take 5 minutes, but if you do them all it takes up all of your playtime. Thats the biggest trap in gw2.
Daily routine: logging in on all accounts
Home instance, farm patches across the world, guild halls and then put in lfg someone with full home since mine is only 60% fulm.
Monday and Saturday flying workshops for griffon and saturday doing some chilling in LA after the workshop and do random things with people 😅
And much more..
doing Daily's, Fractal,World boss is mostly what i do at all during my day. if i feel like it i spend a 1-3 hours farming Chests in BitterFrost its smooth and make you easy money. if i can earn 50g per day with only 1 character its enough.
I can now count the number of Legendaries I still need quicker than I can count those I already have.
hi
which chests you reference to for t6 mat?
thanks
@@aoc450 In the East of Fireheart Rise there is a mini-dungeon inside a set of canyons with bandits called Rebel's Seclusion. There is a T6 chest at the end. You can easily cheeze past everything with a Skyscale from the WP. In Frostgorge Sound there is a JP called Shattered Ice to the right of the Ice Flow Waypoint. If you have a Skyscale you can fly directly from the Waypoint, up the wall and over to cheeze this JP and get directly to the T6 Chest.
@@R_SENAL_WHO Thanks a lot
thank you so much for this video -.- i was getting so bored doing the same thing over and over.
Great vid! We have a similar routine! :)
Thank you!
Why would you need stat selectable rings when you have legendary rings??
My Daily Routine usually looks like this:
- logging in with all Accounts to accept the rewards (and since it is lunar new year event I buy on every acc the envelopes)
- doing an Infusion-Run (Pinata, TD, Auric Basin, Death Branded Shatterer, Drakkar) with two Accounts (one can only do the Run till AB since it does not have the other Maps)
~ Pinata gives me Elegy Mosaics, which are needed for Vision
~ Pinata, TD, Auric Basin gives the Gemstone, which are needed for Vision but is also worth some Silver
~ Auric Basin is good for loot!
~ Doing TMs during downtime in TD and AB (for a Chance of getting the invisble Shoes)
~ Getting Stuff for Legy Armor from TD and AB (Chak Egg, Auric Ingots / Auric Silver)
~ Chance of getting Infusions
- CMs + T4 (Recs) with friends and afterwards doing all strikes (-fs -cw) + Dragonstorm (for a chance of Infusion or the accended greatsword, gift of aurene)
~ Salvaging Accended Rings I get from Fractals (after attuning the rings)
~The Ice Shards you can get from Strikes will be exchanged for other currency to consume them for magic, so I can buy the Trophy Shipments :)
~ Tyrian Defense Seals I receive from DS will be exchanged for Supply Boxes
- Buying Provisioner Tokens
(- Sometimes doing WvW for Daily; Roaming)
- Infusion Run usually takes ~2 hours
- Fractals usually take a little more than 1 hour (we do skip a lot if possible :D )
- Strikes + DS take ~30 minutes
(Somtimes I do skip the Infusion Run but I always try to do at least Fractals, Strikes and DS every day)
I also try to do weekly FCs (Raids) w/ 5 CMs on two Accounts
~ It gives roughly 60+ Gold per Account
~ 5 CMs gives you extra 10g + Provisioner Tokens + Raid Currency
And hey, maybe one day in the futur I get an Infusion xD
I usually do play a lot for a few months because I have a goal to reach and then after reaching it, I do a break for months :D But now I have a huge goal of getting all legendary trinkets (Only missing Vision now), the other 2 Sets of Legy Armor, Legy Runes + Sigills, and I probably wont stop until I got them. And also EoD is about to arrive, which hypes me a bit ^^ In general - as long as I have a goal, I will play :D
And also, I am in 2 different Raid Statics (Normal Chill Clear + Speedclear) and especially the speedclear static is motivating me to continue raiding since I want to get better ^^
my daily is a lot more similar to what yours is but i don't do much fractals , i work on pvp legendary armor and wvw legendary armor :D , so most of the time i roam in wvw on my ranger
I always play alone now ;p And
I love doing world bosses.
@@MasterOfNoneGaming Ah~ I see.
I also have almost done all Fractals, CM100 missing, mostly because "you must play meta" well F u to :D
That reminds me ...
I try to only do a few things each day. Like this month it's T4 Fractuals and New Years Festival, then if I'm still on I'll do metas/raids.
That's a good approach imo. Makes for more varied gameplay
Just got back in the game. Haven’t played since HoT launch. My account was hacked and deleted so I created a new one and started leveling my warrior back up. Hoping that once I get to max I can find a guild and play with others. Until then it looks like it’s a solo grind for me :(
This is the guild I joined recently (EU): bit.ly/GsiSInvite (discord invite)
If you're interested, I'm sure they'll be happy to have you and invite you ingame.
Great stuff, kept it up
About legendary armor and not burning yourself out
If your grinding for the legendary armor set
I recommend the 9 season approach over the 3 season approach mainly because farming chests can get grating especially given you need to do the repeateble chest 12 times after finishing the season 3 times it might take longer but farming all non repeateble ones like 1 chest a day or longer depends on how much time you have to play is much more relaxed less frustrating
Then forcing yourself to complete the repeateble chests 12 times the reason I almost burned out of the game once
Totally! I basically ended up doing the same thing except for when I felt I was really close to completing it. At that point I just powered through it with a couple drinks over the weekend lol
Right now my routine is log on, do dailies, grind out the "return" achievements so I can get my first legendary that isn't a weapon haha
That amulet is so worth it! I don't like it visually but thankfully we can turn trinket effects off nowadays.
How do you do fractals if you have no friends? I'm new and I don't really know how to find a group, and lfg seems dead
I appreciate alot of this.
I disagree with censoring some one who you deem toxic though. Frustration is often misconstrued for "toxicity".
Don't be that guy.
my routine seems identical except raids I do WvW with my guild.
You know what, i don't do this often, But i liked your video.
Appreciated! :)
The beauty of GW2 as a notorious ON-OFF-Player of MMOs is frankly that it has no sub and no matter what I can always return to it whenever I feel like it.
Yep, definitely one of the best mmo's in that regard. Same with not falling behind gear-wise while takin a break
Easier to get that going early.
my gw2 routine is istting in WvW all week cause i dont have any friends or knowledge on how to do anything else
Join an active guild or look in the lfg system for event squads
Does he PVP matches need to be ranked?
There is a specific daily that needs a ranked match and honestly, there is no reason not to play ranked (except if you want to queue with more than 2 friends). After 10 games you will be put into a bracket anyway and will end up with people with similar skill level. Ranked is much more rewarding! You get additional gold every so often and work towards ascended/legendary equipment.
dragonstorm took with good squad ~10min and give 2g daily and chance for extra loot
I took 5 years off. Just came back. Doesn't seem like I lost out on anything. Doing next xpac stories
Enjoy! I recently returned myself after a ~2 year break
This feels like a job.
So my daily is different than anyone on here
If it is fast I do the daily (no pvp here) under 10m, always do Mystic Forge on daily all 3 accounts
Check to see daily LS3 if fasrt i grab them
GH gathering, check to see if leader has put anything in processor
VB TD DM Flax, Pagga WP run round grab trees, ore, kill 10 Krait, buy keys @Drizzlewood
Load mule loot JP this toon moves around with needs...
Log bank toon- 4 converters & get a crowbar, charged quartz, Provisioner token with Obsidian
Log main craft time gated Ascended,
Weekly looks like fractals 2x, thru silver tier in WvW, key farm, buy fractal keys, psna, do a lap with Krait Keys, craft Ascended Zojja
Log my 2 alt accounts grab 3 JPs on each, kill 10 krait again on 1 account,
Weekly xfer over the loot from JPs and Laurels/MC
I have 2 Gw 2 deluxe Eiden 🤣
The start of your video, Should be told to EVERY gamer
Its almost a staple rule that should be taught to people as children
log in, spam pvp, logout
My daily routine consists of logging into 9 accounts, getting the daily login rewards, and buying the lucky envelopes to sell them.
Easy 5G per account per day for ~30secs of effort
my daily routine:
- accept the daily login reward
- realize theres still no new endgame pve content after several years
- play a match of pvp, if im feeling it
- realize how ridiculous the pvp meta is
- watch ppl flame each each other or go afk
- stand around in divinitys reach, trying to find a reason to not uninstall the game
- logout
repeat, bc theres no other good enough mmo to start.
:(
Sorry but you haven't been getting that 10 daily achievemnets points in a loooong time.
I have actually. Current cap is 15k AP from dailies and I'm only at ~12k.
@@MasterOfNoneGaming Ok. But this vid shows it has 28,807 achv pts. Unless it's someone elses acct? I dunno. Just quoting what I see
That is correct.
Easy play wvw
