      @@GrundysGames What was saying was that the channel in question was big on Affinity Photo, but they have been making videos about it since Stable Diffusion started.
      They didn't even talk about the Adobe debacle or promote the tool they had been using for years. It's pretty sad because it's one of these "mainstream" channels that has a bigger audience.
      I think that Alex can take this spot. He as the type of personality that appeals to a large and diverse audience. And he's a good teacher.
      There are many, many great channels about Affinity Photo and the other programs, but they are really focused on image editing.
      I have nothing against "AI", I used it myself, but the space is so cluttered.

      @LV4EVR 3 месяца назад +1

      Agree 100%, though AI/generative fill isn't much of a priority for me. If/when I need that, the Krita/free plugin looks to do extremely well with this. Time to support Krita too, I think. On Substance, can Blender not do the same? (No clue here, not my thing...)

    • @rsamna2494

      @LV4EVR Substance is the best for texturing in 3D. Blender and other softwares don't come even close to the same capability. Blender is great to start learning texturing. It's annoying but we're still stuck with this cuz there's nothing better.

    May give this a go! All these monthly subscriptions add up to a boatload every month. I like Canva's background remover for thumbnails but I really don't fancy paying for it.

    Already bought the Affinity suite. 🙂Worth it.
    (And screw Adobe for stealing content from their customers to train their AI crap.)

    I just invented a new name for Affinity Designer, Photo and Publisher: The Affinity Trinity! Anyway, it's top quality stuff. Grab it for sure.

    Does the Affinity paid version only allow you use of that version of the Affinity apps, and the next version (ie v2 to v3) will involve an upgrade cost?

    Very hapy with Affinity. It may not have a lot of AI options, but sometimes nice to have something less bloated than the 'Shop.

    I paid for the suite when news broke about Adobe's new TOS. I'm finished with Adobe.
