Lies of P made me love the parry. It's a tiny window, but doable and so satisfying. I thought because I got good at it that I'd have no problem in Enotria, but man.. I can't get the timing right. I hope this game does the parry well, cos it looks fun. The art reminds me a bit of Lords of the Fallen.
I rage quit over the Blade Phantom boss. He is only the second boss in the game and I cannot beat him. I feel so defeated. Ericutz is so right about him having WAY too much health, and Khazan's exhausted state lasting WAY too long. I'm not going back to play this game any more during the beta. Maybe I'll try the game again if they do some balancing to the boss stats. I've completed several Souls and Souls-like games, so I feel like should be able to beat Blade Phantom. How does everyone else feel about the Blade Phantom boss?
I beat consort in ER shadow on my second try. This bastard took about an hr and a half. I didn’t quit though, I switched to the spear, and pumped almost all my levels into willpower and endurance. You can basically block or parry most of his attacks. The spear is great for hitting at a distance when he just stalks you. Poke him and do brutal attacks after he breaks stance. I was at level 20. You can do it.
@@Ericutz4thewin switch to the spear, you can get a lot of hits in you couldn’t otherwise due to the reach. He is a pain, just block parry and poke your way to the W. And there’s a skill that makes the 3rd hit in the heavy spear combo exponentially stronger, and another that makes you take less stamina damage when blocking. Trust me, give it a go.
Man I started playing it yesterday ,it's so dope I like how the story is easier to understand rather than dealing with the "old ye Fer there gold road tolls to the North" ,I'm sick of souls games npcs talking like that, the parry timing needs to be adjusted ...also there's a souls like demo in the playstation store called ai limit that's dope too

The best parry game before Sekiro and any other was Metal Gear Revengeance. Its not a souls like but its just as good as sekiro

I'm on him now and he's tough. Again I think they need to tune down the health
