Saw gameplay months ago from the first 30 min of the game. And was kinda disappointed but that has now changed. I’m really happy to see all those different fast moves and the boss fights look fun
I think anyone who doesn't start their analysis of the game with negativity can see it's potential NGL 😅 Even if the game can be polished even more than this, it still have a very good feeling IMO, it already looks like a "Yeah, I could play this." Game, like, it has a nostalgic aura, like I'm playing Darksiders 1 or 2.
This game looks very promising, and I'm a sceptic. but I can't deny how great this game looks, seriously more excited about this game than anything else in a long time
I'm sorry, but action game does not equal souls like, this game looks much more focused on parrying, kinda like sekiro, but also on performing cool combos and just looking like a badass... kinda like dmc. So I'd just include it in a more broad category of action game, it doesn't look ball busting hard like a souls game either
@@pralenkaman8105it’s a souls-like, you grab souls off enemies, checkpoint bonfires that operate identically to fs games, drop all souls on death and have to regain them, no jump mechanic, similar stat update tree to souls for base specs, stamina management, poise to criticals, backstabs, overhead attacks off ledges, heals respawn at bonfires. While still having a more modern spec tree for individual weapons to unlock combos. The stamina management and parry timing seems to be iffy based on released beta runs but it has huge promise. It also looks to be significantly more difficult than Souls or Sekiro, which I kinda hope they tune… Not tune to zero, but a few more frames for parry etc would go a long ways.
@@pralenkaman8105it’s a souls like Harder to tell in the video here, action definitely doesn’t mean souls. Souls-like games are simply sub-genres of a "Rogue-lite" genre. Instead of a full reset to the beginning of a game with partial progression, you get partial progression and go back to a checkpoint, plus there's no difficulty setting. Simple as that. "Tough" action games have always existed but typically you can scale difficulty not through progression but via a setting.
Unfortunately yet another amazing looking game that I will never get to play because I just don’t have the time or patience for these never ending “Souls Likes”
The sound design has this "umph!", boss battle look like they can last for a while, so better remember the patterns. There are multiple weapons (not a big fan of sword/axe that was shown at first). But the pace crashes down when outside of boss, i hope it is just the tutorial that is this sluggish
I feel your pain black myth wukong will be the last souls game I buy I keep tricking myself into buying them thinking I’ll enjoy them bc they look badass only to find out I’ll have to fight multiple bosses 20+ times only to worry about the next one being the one I truly get stuck on. Takes all the fun out of it
@@SithHappens9567 why do you guys consider every third person action title a souls game. a souls like is far more than third person action necessitating pattern recognition. What makes souls is heavy commitment to limitations, reward and consequence in all aspects of game design culminating in meaningful difficulty and reduces accessibility. That is where you get your hands shaking and dopamine whenever you overcome actual adversity and makes the hero's journey worthwhile. From world design to UI, to attack/recovery frames, to leveling progression to checkpoints. There is always a give and take.

I like my games to have a good challenge but geez fighting the same boss 20+ times multiple bosses is just exhausting. It’s okay if you have a good combat system like Black Myth Wukong but when it comes to Elden Ring you literally dodge/roll 50 times before you can get 1 hit in then repeat the process for about an hour per boss
Not every game that comes out has to be compared to Fromsoftware. That's highly annoying. Just looks like a really good game. Hope they can deliver. Honestly it compares more to Stellar Blade than anything else.
Wu Kong, Wo Long, Lords of the Fallen, Phantom Blade Zero Can game devs try to explore other genres and themes and stop trying to milk From Software success?
What mobile game have you played that has graphics and gameplay to this level. You guys do understand everyone isn't trying to make unreal engine 5 realistic graphics.
I love that the game has perfect gaurd or deflection, ever since Sekiro perrying became my favorite playstyle.

Yo, this looks fucking amazing!
It looks so generic
I have the feeling we get a game like this announced every week
@@ZFCaio At least, combat looks and feels like it was made by some team with experience compared to the recent soulsborne flops (Enotria)

No Souls Slop can even compete to Space Marine 2 and gore and power fantasy it offers.
Souls like, anime, no ugly DEI characters, a must buy
I want actual gore, destructible enemies and giblets like in DOOM and Space Marine 2 and the Souls crap had nothing of that.

Леман Русс рассказывает в сагах о своих подвигах на Фенрисе)))

It kinda reminds me of Darksiders 1 War. Has a similar vibe but with a stamina.
