    Excellent restoration: tuning and ait-tightness.

Thanks for your nice coments. The barrel is only one revolution per tune with ten tunes on each barrel. I was changing the stops just out of the camera to give an idea of its capabilities.

I hope my Astor chamber barrel organ will sound this good once I finish restoration!

Fabulous. I have the same model which was retired by R Shaftoe in the 1960's before it was mine. I had not realised how in need of a service it was until I heard yours. !!! Now I cant live with mine and today I said a fond farewell to it as it went to the barrel organ hospital. I am going to miss it badly but vant wait to hear it when it has been done !!

A very good restoration. Well done. The pipework is well in tune and the wind supply is even, whatever stops you are playing. One day I must get around to restoring my Flight and Robson 20 key.

VERY impressive restoration! It is rare to find a cylinder organ anywhere today that sounds as good, mainly because most of them are not really "restored" like yours is. Is this a helically-cut cylinder, or are you changing stops with your other hand, off-camera? Nice musical arrangement, too!
