I didn't even know it was seen as a girl specific thing to do until recently. Things like layaway at a store is a thing of the past so maybe that's why it's seen as more of a trendy topic now to talk about even if they've been doing it for years.
@@anikejulien7273 it's usually like I need new t-shirts, go to target and they're on sale so I can use the money I "saved" to get their pizza hut pizza and a slushie. I also consider groceries at home free. Might not be the smartest system but some days I'm trying to keep my daily spending at 0 and only making purchases once per week if I can help it, especially with the cost of everything right now
