Are we forgetting what we learned last year? Every 3 game losing streak was the starting point for an even longer winning streak. 79-3-0 season confirmed 🔒
But to add to your comment about the slash.. Perry cup checked Andersson before his “goal/no goal”
I have asked this question of Oiler fans and I get a mixed response. I'll ask it again:
Ken Holland was dumped because...??
- Because Jeff Jackson has won a number of Stanley Cups as a GM?
- Because Jeff Jackson's managerial experience is extensive and he deserved to be Ken Holland's boss this past season?
- Because Stan Bowman was a better option than Holland?
I get Oiler fans were unhappy with some of the contracts Holland negotiated or some of the draft picks that did not work out.
All I know is: when Holland was your GM, the Oilers always made the playoffs and made some deep runs when he was GM.
This past off season, the Oilers got older, slower, the defense is worse, the weak goaltending was not addressed...Seriously, this is an upgrade over Holland?
Ken Holland must have a big smile on his face after this team has gone 0-3 after a weak off-season that included losing two young former first rounders...after all the cap space was used up on July 1 on older, slower guys??
This makes me question if it was the oilers that totally destroyed Jack Campbell, based on the terrible defence … just a thought
Feels like 18-19 season

This is a Bad News, Good News report. Bad News. We Lost. For a team with this much firepower we had little (granted on a back to back but still, one goal). Don't talk to me about Emberson out, Stecher in or the Defense (what little there was). Stu let in 3 (plus an empty netter). The Good News. We blocked more than single digit shots. We won more faceoffs. We didn't let in 6, just the 4 and none of those were PP (so our PK got it right on 3 shots, our PP didn't score on the one chance they had). Again, didn't watch the game, I have physical surgery on my eyes tomorrow and won't be able to do anymore stats for some time. Take care all. So the reason I haven't been able to watch the games is that, SURPRISE, my eyes need surgery and the same was true with this game. Listening to the game is fine but you do miss a lot.
So Woodcroft wasn’t the problem lol
Locked on Oilers hasnt been the same since Brett left.
This host is terrible. He is yelling. Voice is so annoying
Trade Leon and Nuge for assets and a #1 goalie
team is badly overrated and remind me of the habs from a few years ago, not even closecto a cup contender and I'd honestly not be suprised if they miss the playoffs
it’s only the beginning of the season
@@Michaelholt32it's a lot worse this season
Goodbye stan bowman
If you stay.. bring in joel.
Because we're all in and if you're not leaving, stan, bring in the next beast of a coach compared to Paul Maurice
Bowman should have been banned for life what he did in Chicago
It's simple people...2 words : Amazon Prine
2 words . Game Seven
2 more words, you're right
Overrated team and overachieved last year. Oiler fans being hit with a dose of reality. They got worse this year to boot.
