- Here is the long awaited meetup for a full camping expedition with Mav & me. Ocean fishing for Coho salmon and crabs. This was a great distraction and was such a genuinely fun time. I swapped my trailer with Mav for the night and slept in his truck camper. If you haven't heard of him for some reason, please check him out! He does truck camping adventures and is a super cool guy.
Mav will likely be posting his own camping video from this adventure in a few weeks as well.

I'm happy to see yo posting again Steve. Suggestion for backing a trailer: place your hand at the bottom of the steering wheel and move your hand in the direction you want the back of the trailer to go. Once you get this down the rest is just finesse.

I’m a full time rv’er and 6 months ago lost my guy. Unexpectedly and tragic. I’m trying to get back out there but spend most days trying to survive in my camper. Seeing Steve able to smile again gives me hope. Thank you to two of my faves. Stay strong Steve, you are not alone on your journey.

I don't think I've been as genuinely entertained and as inspired from a 30 minute RUclips video in awhile. Mav is such a great kid and Steve is one of those dudes that literally ANYONE could become friends with if you just started a random conversation with him. Idk why, but he gives me those vibes and these two happen to be among my favorite RUclipsrs because they both have quality content. The fact that Mav brought Steve some joy after the hell he's lived through just makes me feel good about humanity and companionship. Take care of yourself Steve. We all love you and, as you said, everything is going to be ok..... Steve smiling, Steve trying something new, Steve living life, Steve healing, Steve being funny...but most importantly...Steve being Steve. Dude is as sturdy as a 100-year-old oak. He is dealing with a fresh wound, that will soon become a scab but will forever be a scar. Harsh you say? I know, for I lost my baby sister at just 18 years old in March of 1999 and my second sister in March of 2012. For anyone who has lost someone far too soon, you can relate. Steve is humble, Steve is not self-absorbed. However, Steve is without a question an inspiration. Anyone who disagrees should seriously evaluate their own life.

I lost my wife in 2016, and seeing Steve go through the same thing is heartbreaking, but also encouraging and touching as he finds his new rythm. It's a long road, but I'm so happy that Mav and him had such a great experience.
You need 10 spices and 3 blends! Black pepper. Ground cumin. Ground sage. Parsley flakes. Cilantro flakes. Cayenne powder. Basil. Turmeric. Garlic powder and onion powder. And for the blends. Montreal steak/chicken, Curry and chili powder. Salt and sauce to boot. God bless and enjoyed the video!

I lost my dad to aggressive brain cancer 22 year ago. It sounds completely cheesy, but he still shows up in my dreams at night now and then- sometimes I wake up having to really think about whether he's gone or not. Sometimes he's nice or supportive in my dream, sometimes not so much, sometimes he makes no sense whatsoever, but he's still there, as long as I keep remembering him. Good luck to you and keep the memories of your dad close.

Those moments will come more often, and you'll appreciate them so much as you reflect on them. It's so hard to be strong sometimes, but you're doing great. One day at a time, or whatever measure you need. The best advice I got from a therapist when my husband died was, "FEEL your feelings". I think I speak for everybody who is a fan of Steve when I say that it is awesome to see you out exploring, making new friends, trying new things, finding your new version of happy. You said at one point that this is not like a typical camping with Steve video... and that's exactly what you probably need. A shake up in the formula... as you continue the story that is Steve Wallis and discovering where things go from here. It's good to see you still trying to live. You will inspire a lot of people who might need to see that there is still life after whatever obstacles we encounter, even if they seem to be impossible to overcome. Hey Steve. Here's a tip on backing a trailer. Keep your hand at the bottom of the steering wheel. If you need the trailer to go left, move your hand left. To make the trailer go right, move your hand right. Don't pay attention to what the car is doing, except for hitting things. Just consentrate on the trailer.
This would be a dream day for me, just gettin time with a friend out and about. Camping and cooking fresh caught fish, sounds like a dream in times like these.

Camping with Steve doesn't need to always be camping, and it doesn't need to be stealth. I am going to go out on a limb and suggest that most viewers are here regardless, at this point, because they like to spend time with you. Saw you, Steve, on Mav's channel back in Sept when he visited you at your acreage and made you sandwiches. Then this video popped up on my home page tonight so I watched it. I just love seeing you and Mav together having a good time and the camper swap was great! I wasn't quite understanding when you said you were genuinely happy and that everything was going to be ok. Then I was looking back at your videos watching a few here and there when the one of you talking about your wife, Jesse's passing came up. I was so sorry to hear that. You're an inspiration, my family and I are struggling also and to hear someone say "it's gonna be OK" really brought comfort to me. Thoughts are with you. Peace.

OMG Steve you have a great idea with the camping gear. You should make it a business also. Like the public city bicycle you have accounts linked to credit/Debit cards for easy identification of damage or theft. You use those proceeds to subsidise a free rental of equipment both under library like rules. It could run through libraries, Canadian Tires, Wal-Mart. It's GENIUS.

Handy tip - place hands at bottom of steering wheel (palms down at 8 and 4 o'clock positions) when backing up. Easy as pie.
