- Indian Railways 12951 MUMBAI TEJAS RAJDHANI EXPRESS CELEBRATING 50 YEARS. The inaugural journey of the train from Mumbai Central, formerly known as Bombay Central Railway station, to the national capital, began 50 years ago on May 17, 1972.
Rajdhani Express trains are high-priority long-distance passenger carriers on Indian Railways network. With spacious TEJAS rake coaches & fewer stops, they offer a comfortable & luxurious travel experience to passengers.

@200Journeys Ihad a very intresting memory of mumbai rajdhani
A fire broke out on the train on April 18, 2011 b/w nagda & kota jn. at midnight 3-4 coaches were damaged. But God was very kind everyone was safe unhurt. I was 11 at that time & was travelling with my family b/w surat and new delhi. I still remember that incident and it sends chill my spine. Hope none would such incident

Hi Dolesh , thank you for bringing my old memories back . I am currently in USA , but i remember the time when back in 1993, i was 7 years old , and we traveled from Delhi to Mumbai CT. , it was the old orange colored rake , and i was really excited that time because they served chocobars at night , it was a memorable journey as it was my long last journey with my grandmother and i ate her ice cream too 🙃 that time i remember they used to give newspaper as well , do they give it now ?

I have been watching your videos for 2 years
I have travelled by this train long back in 1980 when it contained some coaches of air cinditioned chair car. Then it used to have 2 alco diesel coaches from bombay central. It has given an excellent n timely service. Lately, I have not travelled long back by this train.

In 2019, I travelled in Rajdhani Express and this train is given the highest priority in this route and the food was awesome but specially for 1st Ac passenger ❤❤
