Gosh years have gone by… i remember discovering tame in 2013 in high school i felt so cool being an original fan when no one knew them… its literally been ten years I’ve been a fan… i love tame impala
i swear these guys belonged in the 60's... but somehow we got blessed and got them in our time. One thing i must do before i die is see them live.. love the music and they are so dam gorgeous!
*+Yoav Ledezma* Okay, I admit I don't know the band Foals, I've only heard of them, so I can't judge them. But Vampire Weekend's music does make me cringe. There's this song, I don't know the name, has a horrible tune. It doesn't even sound like rock! There's probably some stuff that's okay, I guess. But they really bad, at least for me.
Art is not the same as entertainment. It goes far beyond such a description. Our aesthetic sides are a big part of our human identity. Music can be purely entertaining and aiming to please/seduce a crowd, but it can also be therapeutic, healing, transformational, sacred, spiritual - it can induce an experience so abstract and profound that mere words does not know how to describe it. People have always made music and it has never been only for the reason to entertain.
He hangs out at Old bar in Melbourne when he's down! Met him one night inebriated as shit. He was such a gentleman answering a few question of mine drinking his wine at the bar in his thongs. More great things to come :)
I wish I had started listening to them when this album came out. I was a sophomore in college. I’m just glad I can still watch these videos and picture myself in 2010 and I wish I hadn’t dropped out of college. I could be in a better place that I am now.
This song will forever hold a place in my memories, and bring me back to that point in my life, grounding myself. The power of music, especially like this is so amazing.
My friend played Tame Imapala just after finishing high school in 2015. I got so stoned listening to Tame Impala - why won't you make up your mind with him that I actually forgot it after i sobered up... he left for Montreal for work a few months after. It wasn't till I came across Tame Impala in the music store I remembered the time spent together listening to this song. I bought Innerspeaker just got this song and loved the whole album and went back to buy the other albums.
Marco Galvez I suppose you haven't heard of Connan Mockasin then? I particularly recommend "Faking Jazz Together", that's a sure trip to... somewhere else. Or look for a live session called "Boiler Room In Stereo" which includes an awesome interpretation of "Forever Dolphin Love".
I'm here again, after the most long trip trying to find myself all these years. I hope not be to late for realize that I always have all. Find myself again with this lovely song. The trip wasn't necessary at all.
+Dave Lampton Actually Kevin composes 95% of Tame Impala's music and has recorded, produced and mastered all the 3 albums by himself. Then I guess the other members learn the songs and go live.
This sound is so great, I don´t know where it came from , I thought hippy spirit was vanishing, but this makes me levitate with trippy fractals of pure endless inspiration...
Getting this video recommended after 10 years is so strange as well as good at the same time. Felt so vintage. It sparked a weird nostalgic feeling in me. I am depressed but I feel less bad now.
Tame can keep doing this for as long as they want. Such a unique sound. I love when other artist can sample there stuff and the pop world loves it. Proof they are amazing. Overlooked by some.
"Why Won't You Make Up Your Mind?" Why won't you make up your mind? Give me a sign! Why won't you make up your mind? Give me a sign! Am I wasting my time living in my head? You'll be sorry when I make up mine instead Why won't you make up your mind? Give me a sign! Why won't you make up your mind? Give me a sign! Am I wasting my time living in my head? You'll be sorry when I make up mine instead
this was my favorite tame impala song in 2010 when they released innerspeaker...and still is my favorite, along with endors toi (and alter ego, expectations, apocalypse dreams, nothing that has happened..., mind mischief, etc)
I knew this song way before I heard it in a store. But last week in a school trip to london, I heard this song in adidas store in oxford street, and I was dazzled because I finally hear a peace of art in a store. I missed so much tame impala...
WOW!! they seem like their from another time I love them their latest cd is beautiful also they are a Gift from Jesus Music from Heaven they make you feel good
this song brings me back to that year when I was walking home from university, thinking about my toxic relationship, the lyrics hit different back then it took me another year to finally make up my mind

Emo

You don't need tame impala for this, we already are melting with the universe #spinoza
No es Tame Impala. Es toda la mota que te fumaste

I just don't get tired of this beautiful song.
Best band out there today.
+jeffthepoet7 alongside Temples and Fuzz
And Vampire Weekend and Foals
*+Yoav Ledezma* no, those ones are really bad
Why do you think that?
*+Yoav Ledezma* Okay, I admit I don't know the band Foals, I've only heard of them, so I can't judge them. But Vampire Weekend's music does make me cringe. Innerspeaker is one of my top albums of this decade.
This is the first Tame Impala song I ever listened to. I'm forever grateful for their music over the years!!
His
i don't usually listen to stuff like this but there's something about this band im hooked on
Are u still a decade later?
Not a band
Still the best band out there today.
its not a band lol
its 1 guy...the others are just there..it could bin anybody ..you or me it dosent matter
Jay, Dom, Cam, and Julien play every live show with Kevin though. He's pretty much solo in the studio but those guys are with him for everything else!
dont forget about Allah Las and the Holy Wave mate
The sweeping guitar melody always gets me. To think Kevin Parker thought of all of this, and made most of it himself.
I just wanna get inside this video, lay on the grass and enjoy the sunny scenary with this geourgeous talented boys :)
And a joint.
Estefania Dupeyron lol I need a joint of some purple Haze
Ross Hermosa Me too!
+Ross Hermosa and smoke some pot

Was talking to Kev the other night....
Seriously... Amazing person. Friendly dude. He's gonna be huge.
Talking to him how...? In your dreams..? Orr...?
I'm generally curious.
He was at Mojo's in fremantle! I'm mates with Cam Avery.. Used to work with him and yeah everytime I go a gig now we catch up and chat :P
I know, their all are very friendly dudes, I met them in Mexico in a Meet&Greet. it was the best day ever

No importa cuántas veces la haya escuchado antes ni cuantas las vaya a escuchar, siempre voy a amar esta canción!
This seriously has helped me many nights with my depression, thank you

Yeah Same me too
That's pretty ghey

El bajo estilo Paul McCartney y el vocalista con una voz parecida a la de John Lennon... Definitivamente amo esta banda, me hacen sentir en los 60's.
I wish I had started listening to them when this album came out. I was a sophomore in college. I’m just glad I can still watch these videos and picture myself in 2010 and I wish I hadn’t dropped out of college. I could be in a better place that I am now.

La 2da canción de ellos q escuché desde que los conoci, y tener la suerte haberlos podido ver en vivo, sigo sintiendo flechazo como la primera vez
This song is timeless.
I love this psychedelic vibe ♥ it makes me feel so fine
Pasa el tiempo y me sigue gustando como el primer día que los escuché.
Tame Impala is the only way I can get high without smoking

Locelotleopardus well duh. Pink Floyd is a given, thus doesn't need to be mentioned
Marco Galvez Try The Mars Volta! Is not as chill but is really trippy and nuts

He spilled such groovy foundations...

+Dave Lampton Actually Kevin composes 95% of Tame Impala's music and has recorded, produced and mastered all the 3 albums by himself. Then I guess the other members learn the songs and go live.
Ah, yes I've heard that. I was just talking about the way Nick plays. He knows how to groove.
Yes, he sure does!
+Dave Lampton best basslines writer tbh
Love that bass!!

Love the bird chirping in the beginning. Just one of those little details that make tame impala so great.
I’ve cried so many times to this song it’s unreal 💔 so beautiful but it can be sad
Seeing Tame Impala live again will be so special.
I just discovered this band today, and I've been listening to their songs for the past hour

Just the best band in world for the last three years ...
This sound is so great, I don´t know where it came from , I thought hippy spirit was vanishing, but this makes me levitate with trippy fractals of pure endless inspiration...
Checking back in on this one and can still confirm the chords in this song are still addictive as ever!
Amazing stuff. you might like a band called The Doublejumps if you like the older Tame Impala music
wish they recorded more songs during this session, sound is so nice
Sentarse y escuchar a todo volumen en completa soledad a tame impala y sentirse... viva

First time listening a Tame Impala work from 2010. I just realized that the band is at least 10 years old. Awesome music, btw!!!

Excelente sintonia, dos sentimentos em cada acorde... Essa música te transporta para lugares incríveis.
This is and always will be their best live performance. Also, how did they power their amps and stuff while they were in the middle of a field?
Gennies, mate.

they would have been great in woodstock
Clyde Broflovsky Woodstock was awful. Let’s admit it. Tame impala is better than any 60’s California trash.
