I was a kid in the 70's, so i recognise the 70's style in the anination so well. Those were the years where my country (holland) was nice and safe place where nothing happend and nothing was going on, so it was in fact a little boring but i already loved popmusic when i was 5, and we had great toys that had no microchips, and we had great tv series so we were never bored as a kid.

But after years you'll remember it again but don't know where it's from 😂 That just happened to me. in 2009 I was an exchange student in the US, we had a 1 month prep-camp in Evergreen, Seattle before we went separate way to our own state we got selected by our host family this song were played all the time among me and my friends at the camp, such beautiful time after that 1 month I barely see anyone from that camp anymore, this song makes me miss that old time so much, this song is so special

My family had a beautiful cockatiel called Peppy. We got her when I was around 10 or 11 - I'm now 27 now and we had such a special bond. Peppy absolutely loved this song. Whenever she would hear it play she'd dance up and down her cage, trying to whistle along. I got a call of mum last month to say Pep wasn't doing too well, so I left work and came home to say goodbye. She had gotten really sick and I sat by her side as she held on for days. But when she climbed out of her cage to come sit on my chest one afternoon I knew it was time as it was something she hadn't done in ages. At this stage she wouldn't eat, would barely drink and was having trouble breathing. It was horrible. I didn't think I had much time left with her so I played this song over and over to comfort her. To my surprise, my beautiful girl held on and sat on my chest the entire night for almost 10 hours straight before sadly taking her last breath at 7am the following morning. I stayed awake the entire time and like to believe she actually understood the lyric "We could stick around and see this night through" because that's exactly what she did. She stuck around and saw the night through with me, so we could share one last sunrise together. This song will always hold a special place in my heart and make me cry every time I hear it. RIP my beautiful Peppy girl, I love you endlessly and miss you every single day. Until we meet again xxx

I bought this album when it came out. I listened to it maybe once, maybe a couple of times, but the album is the story of a relationship ending, and it hits. I put it away. Then I broke up with that person, and part of my grieving process was listening to this album. I didn't listen to it again until I broke up with the next person, and that's how I've treat Peter, Bjorn, and John since. I hope I never have to pull this album out again. My family had a beautiful cockatiel called Peppy. We got her when I was around 10 or 11 - I'm now 27 now and we had such a special bond. Peppy absolutely loved this song. Whenever she would hear it play she'd dance up and down her cage, trying to whistle along. I got a call of mum last month to say Pep wasn't doing too well, so I left work and came home to say goodbye. She had gotten really sick and I sat by her side as she held on for days. But when she climbed out of her cage to come sit on my chest one afternoon I knew it was time as it was something she hadn't done in ages. At this stage she wouldn't eat, would barely drink and was having trouble breathing. It was horrible. I didn't think I had much time left with her so I played this song over and over to comfort her. To my surprise, my beautiful girl held on and sat on my chest the entire night for almost 10 hours straight before sadly taking her last breath at 7am the following morning. I stayed awake the entire time and like to believe she actually understood the lyric "We could stick around and see this night through" because that's exactly what she did. She stuck around and saw the night through with me, so we could share one last sunrise together. This song will always hold a special place in my heart and make me cry every time I hear it. RIP my beautiful Peppy girl, I love you endlessly and miss you every single day. Until we meet again xxx

I bought this album when it came out. I listened to it maybe once, maybe a couple of times, but the album is the story of a relationship ending, and it hits. I put it away. Then I broke up with that person, and part of my grieving process was listening to this album.
