::LYRICS::
Send me back, the feeling's reached the core
Ocean waves sound more like whispers from the shore
See my eyes look back again once before
See my eyes look back again once before
There is ?
There's nothing that I need to say
See my eyes look back again once before
See my eyes look back again once before
Once before

See my eyes look back again once before

It hurts not to have this song on spotify
It really does man!!!!
shame. but you can download and add to your library.
It does indeed
mainly because its a demo and not a song
Frrrr
Only real Tame impala fans here
I see the No true Scotsman fallacy is still going strong.
One of the strongest shit I ever heard
@@beefjerfy3082 bruh he just means the fans of tame impala that are interested in Kevin’s music beyond the less i know the better should be praised higher. Yes you can be a tame fan by just liking currents but the more connected fans dive deeper to things like this.
Real Tame Impala fans love everything Kevin makes
100%
one day I am going to purchase or download every single Tame Impala song released. I am then going to drop acid and listen to all this music, chronologically, and watch Kevin Parker explain the universe to me through poetics.
I am going to have to hold you to that.
Haatchii I'll do it, I'll make a bunch of recordings and writings during the trip, and then make a huge vlog mashing them together with videos and post it on RUclips. See you in about two months.
Nice. Join the party!
I don't recomend doing acid, it's great but if it goes bad it sticks for life. Stick to weed.
Rakon I've come close to having a bad trip once. At some point over the last five months or so, I thought I might not mind having a bad trip at least once, just to see what it's like. Getting pretty close to it and then consciously realising 'this is what a bad trip is like' is a scary feeling. Other than that, I try to stay away from weed, it just has that whole stoner culture which is stupid, and I also need a job and I really just don't want to risk missing a good job opportunity because of pot.

You can easily tell this is one of his most genuine pieces ever created...
I'm not sure if he did this on purpose, but having so much amazing unreleased music on RUclips for people to discover has given this band a whole other dimension... this is by far the best band to come out in the last 10 years.
THE best man -Kevin Parker- to come out since the early '90's ... he is reaching John Lennon's greatness
They kind of have fallen into sell-out territory now.
Over Toasted explain
@@jleak4881 their music is very derivative now which signals to me that they are worrying more about booking big gigs and getting radio time instead of making interesting music. I could be wrong, but it wouldn't be the first time a music artist has fallen victim to it.
@@Over_Toasted well Kevin has on numerous accounts shared about his anxiety and doubts of being in the spot light. His new song just shows part of it too. His own dad told him that music as a profession was soul crushing and that the music industry would lose interest and hed lose interest with age. I on this special occasion dont care if he "sells out
" as long as he continues to be happy with his music.
thank god for tame impala
Amen
Lorena O. Amen

hay what's up ???
Maybe not "god", but i gotcha
currents is fine and all but daaaamn i wish he had kept on doing this
!
Kaisa Koski exactly how I feel
I can't help but agree, there is something about this music which is so... Captivating. However, artists evolve, as he has said in an interview "the idea of going back across the same ground isn't exciting at all. Experimentation is everything, I don't see the point in doing something I've already done before, there is no mystery or magic that"
agreed! seems like the 2019 material is even further away from this :/
@@danielpetergray3880 I think it can be argued that there's no mystery or magic in any of the new stuff he's doing either. but that's just me
that last part is the most fucking magical piece of musical shit i've ever heard. idk what the fuck did kevin smoke so he could produce, let alone think of melody like that. either he's so talented or he was a miracle. maybe both. was really hoping he would produce trippy shit like this again.
i love this song.
exactly my thoughts bro, that last part with good headphones, in the dark and high.. so magic.
he is still young, we can hope.

He is musical genius
Absolutely criminal this hasn't had an official release!
Nor that it's been recorded professionally in the studio. It's such a great performance but poorly recorded.
@@k-leb4671 Sounds fresh to me, drowning in OVERLY PRODUCED music nowdays.
siiiiiiiiiiiiipo
WHAT. IS. THIS? How is it even possible for a band from the new age, to have the soul and the groove of a psychedelic band from the krautrock-times? I can tell you guys - Im already familiar with tame impala, but the more you dig into their sound, the more gems you discover. A miracle!
Some of the music from the krautrock-times would blow ya away and make you think it must have been recorded in the summer of 2023!
You should check out Portugal. The Man's old stuff too
headphones on, eyes closed, maximum volume and Tame Impala! Off i go to dreamland!
don't hurt your ear drums! it's not worth it! alright, maybe it's kinda worth it.
Tame impala gives me clarity , man I wanna meet them so bad , gotta thank them for so many good moments
Off you go to bad hearing and ringing. Although it is truly awesome to listen to them with maximum volume
Ikr
Yeah, just add some acid and i sure you one ticket to that dreamland
It’s like Cream meets The Doors and John Lennon is the singer
Nice summarization 👍 Peace Be Upon You
Im getting santana vibes
You goddamn right sir
I miss this style of Tame Impala but I hope their new album grows on me like Currents
There's lots of erkin koray vibes in it
This, Flow, Latenight Moonlight and Wander I'd pay to see live.
and "Tame Impala - The Serpentine" too :)
@@dmitrijgorenko Even though Kevin had a version that he recorded all by himself, I think he'd probably want the original dee dee dums members to play that song with him.
@@kajuiceboi3592 and it would be great :)
I could listen to the last 2 minutes of this song on repeat for ages
Let's make 1hour remix of this
I thought it was magical as well!
This song will always be Christmas Eve 2015 for me. Getting baked in the car with my dad in the driveway. The man introduced to me to a lot of classic rock so I figured I might as well return the favor. The new age medical marijuana blew his mind but not as much as the spell of Kevin Parker.
your dad wow
Me tonight
Bruh I gotta be honest I envy this father/son relationship
@@roach9397 nahhh frl
Might be a pipe dream, but I would love them to remaster this... such a haunting tune with amazing melodies that exposes their roots so well.
I discovered this band 2 hours ago at 8am, now they are my new favourite band
Nicholas Farrell its not a band lol

NoShade not rlly. kevin writes and composes all of the songs, and the other guys just play tje instruments at live concerts

I would pay so much for him to play this live!
There would be like 20 screams from the audience and about 20,000 “huh??”s
@@stopbeinginsecure4786 I'd give a kidney to still see him play this live
I saw them at the hollywood bowl night 1 front row in the pool. I was one of the only ones with my phone out when they did keep on lying/doors tribute. its time they treat the real fans and not the ones only there for less i know the better. This song is right up there next to apocalypse dreams/runway.

Words can not describe what this song means to me.
This song makes me feel like I’m in a country nobody’s found yet.
this is their first masterpiece
man wish kevin would do another album like his first EP and innerspeaker
Look up Deedee dums. He fucking ROARS like a young lion.
My impression is that his song writing process changed from being stuck in his bedroom or garage with an amplifier to being on the road in a hotel room or on a bus with a computer.
@@MeanderingSlacker more like he was lonely depressed about a girl.
now he is over that shit and living life in the limelight.
For sure being in a room alone with the amp brought out better music.
Innerspeaker is like on a Pink Floyd level, where you just want the album and your state of mind to stay on repeat forever.
I've been diggin' this band for 10 years now
The freaky thing is that this wasn’t 40-50 years ago it was only seven..... what... my brain can’t cope
This is really one of my favourite songs of all time. I listen to it at night to relax. it's just a shame that more people don't know about it
Insane Gaming this has 1 mil views now
tame impala at its organic roots were the best. this electronic stuff is just typical edm...boring.
Its hard to believe these guys are apart of my generation. Music this good has not been around in such a long time. The ending was mind blowing
dam ur fuken special
bro there's good music like this all over the place at the moment, u just gotta find it. Rn is probably the greatest era for psychedelic rock
1 point for the millennials....
Today is the same good music as for 40 years ago. the difference is that today the good music doesnt play in mainstream radio. In short... Back then good music was Popular and today NOT
Is one guy.
Kevin, if you read your youtube comments.... Don't be afraid of electric guitars. We miss you buddy.
Anybody here see that innerspeaker live at wavehouse stream? Feels like kev is remembering how much he loves this stuff, there's heaps of cool jamming in it
I saw it. It is the best video on RUclips
it´s a glimmer of hope i guess
Veeeery blessed to have them in my generation

One of the best songs I've ever heard. Their demo/EP stuff is really overlooked.
Definitely one of the best Impala tracks.
Good God! Where has this been in my life. This is the shit I've been looking for

Get mad about this song since two weeks. I can't stop listening at it, like it is hypnotizing me but I am full conscious and want to take more but it blow away from me. Don't worry about this guy, I am just high.

Over a decade on and still my favorite tame impala song. The sounds are something spiritual
such a talented band! so glad these guys are around playing this kind of music in this day and age. Tame impala has a remarkable mix of old and new, sounds nostalgic yet fresh at the same time. plus Kevin Parker is my hero as a producer.

Such an epic start
The last few minutes or so sounds sacred and almost ritualistic, you can imagine hearing that if you were in a Native American tipee and your in the peak of a peyote trip, the shaman singing and hitting a drum...Jesus and I'm not even high haha. Kevin parker is a genius
