Anybody wanna share their LSD experiences while tripping to Tame Impala? I recently did 1.5 of a gel tab and during my peak I decided to tell my ex girlfriend about this song. The song was already one of my favorites from Kevin but never got the chance to really experience it on the effects of acid. I put my Bose speaker fairly close to me and turn the light a blue ish color and I lay in the bed. The song starts to play and I automatically feel connected to it. Considering the fact I was tripping balls, the song felt super long. Engaging every second of it. By the time the song comes to the closing, I was staring into the roof and the popcorn chicken above. Everything was moving so vividly and in sync. By the time the guitar kicks in at 5:40 my whole chest gets lifted, like if I’m no longer connected to my physical body and I look into the roof and it’s a whole galaxy above me. I was completely blown away! The power and echo I felt in my body when Kevin sings “feeling in the core” was honestly so filling. But by the time the song ended, music to walk home by started playing and that’s a whole other trip to explain! Haha
The last few minutes or so sounds sacred and almost ritualistic, you can imagine hearing that if you were in a Native American tipee and your in the peak of a peyote trip, the shaman singing and hitting a drum...Jesus and I'm not even high haha. Kevin parker is a genius
