- After installing the SRT Hellcat body kit on my Durango RT... Exhaust was the next mod on the list! JBA Axle back did not disappoint! 4" Stainless Tips are the finishing touch that this build needed! EXHAUST LINK BELOW

Pro tip: use a chain style tail pipe cutter to make clean cuts without the risk of damage to surrounding areas. This can be rented at any auto parts store or purchased for cheap.
Sounds good. We're picking up an RT BT TNG for my wife tomorrow. I don't plan to modify anything from stock on it other than to add PPF though. And tires once this set wears out. I was surprised she hasn't said anything about whatever exhaust is on it currently. Truck is 24k miles used and sounds GOOD with whatever exhaust is on it... it is not the normal RT pipes... unsure if the BT TNG has a different exhaust option or if it is aftermarket yet. Either way, it sounds good for a truck and a driver. I'll leave my TT cars to make the noise.
Good Video... About the plastic oil pans on the engine and transmission. They didn't do it for cooling....
The plastic does Not transfer heat as well as metal would.
They did it because it is CHEAPER... < ;)
Hi, can you pls compare the output sound comming from this JBA rear exhaust vs full exhaust systems from Borla S, Mopar and Corsa? I mean not only level of loudness, but also frequency, which is deepest? Is it correct if I think that JBA will be, probably, less lound than remaining 3, but will have deeper (bass) tone than Borla and Corsa, maybe similar to Mopar?... Thanks
Nice vid! I've already modded my SRT exhaust on my 2021 Durango RT, Tow N Go! If you or anyone wants some additional ideas I have about 3-4 different videos of changing my exhaust around from Dynomax Race Bullets, mid-muffler delete, x-pipe then to h-pipe and Flowmaster Flow f/x, etc... 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁

I did a mid muffler delete on my scat but wife has a Durango and does not want it as loud as the scat, thinking I am going this route
How's the drone inside the cabin at say 75-80 mph? I have a '13 Crew with the 5.7 HEMI in it and use it for 12 hour road trips. I can't imagine it's obnoxious because you said this was your wife's rig.
There is no deference between resonator delete and this setup both have drone inside the cabin,but both the same sounds beefy
I was all but ready to get Flowmasters for my 2019 R/T (same color as yours) but it looks like a new contender has entered the area! I did the suitcase delete and added an H-pipe as my wife LOVES the loud V8 sound, so I wonder what this JBA exhaust will sound like with my setup! 😁👍🏼
If it was mine, I would fully put an H or X pipe w/ the JBA’s🏁 it might be a hair loud for the wife but… it would sound awesome!
Man there's SO many contenders like Dynomax, Carven, Borla, JBA, all the different Flowmasters from Flow FX to Pro Series to Outlaw - ugh, it's overwhelming! Thus, I'm on my 3rd exhaust mod on my 2021 Durango Tow N Go....
@@MidwestMotor I actually DID purchase this exhaust and installed it a few months ago! Just getting around to leaving feedback! All I can say is HOLY SH*T this sounds good! The only issue I had was my truck was UNBELIEVABLY loud as I did the suitcase delete! I had a Trackhawk owner looking at me like WTF is THAT bro??? 🤣 Ended up adding some glass packs to calm it down a bit! Still grabs a TON of attention when I drive past people! JBA for the win!!!! 😁👍🏼
@@B0RRAC0 Post a video if you can! My Tow N Go sounds great - it always did even from the factory but I can't leave shit alone for some reason. So with my mid-suitcase delete, added H-Pipe, and 2 Flowmaster FX it sounds sweet. This JBA is good stuff.
I like these loud exhaust for my 2023 Durango hellcat. I just wish there was a way to turn it on and off kind of like the Cadillac V does, as I don’t want loud noise all the time.

Glad it helped and the wife still enjoys the sound 🤟🏻🏁 The wheels setup is a 22x 10.5 but you will need the SRT body kit to make them fit. I have another vid with all the specs.
I put a Borla exhaust on my 2020 Durango R/T the aggressive exhaust instead of the moderate exhaust sound's awesome maybe to loud for a woman to drive

Hey. Great video. My question is do you get any drone in the vehicle in local or highway driving since your installation.
Very slight drone under gentle acceleration on the interstate (holding 7th or 8th gear). Drive 10% more aggressive and no drone lol. My wife didn’t complain on a 6 hour road trip last week so I got the stamp of approval

Great video how do you think these will sound on 2013 durango crew v6 with single exhaust, i did a mid muffler delete already and added a flow master delta flow 40 series in its place, thinking about removing the resonator and your video gave me an option to go with. My wife says it isnt loud enogh lol and its an everyday drive for her but dont want it to be extremely loud, whats your thoughts.

I don’t seen any difference in this $800+ exhaust over the sub $400 Blastin Bobs setup. Any exhaust shop would set you up with the same thing for cheaper as well. Sounds just as good as theirs IMO
Yeah you could piece it together cheaper at a good exhaust shop. Now find me a cheap exhaust shop that tig welds stainless 😂

I did a rear resonator/muffler delete kept the mid muffler with 4 inch tips on mine and it sounds great gives me the beefy roar that I wanted the cabin drone it’s too bad
Yes I kept the middle “suitcase” muffler. Perfect amount of rumble for the family

What did you put on for the rear diffuser? I know the towngos come with that unpainted look but yours doesnt appear to be a towngo. I like it i want to do that to mine
That’s the oem SRT rear diffuser. Fits perfect
Question? does it help you in the performance of your dd do you feel that you have more power and can it be placed in a 2020 rt?
I doubt it really gains any Hp but it will fit a 2020 👍🏻 Still loving the sound 🏁

Why in hell would you need more. The hemi engine is MORE than loud enough even at idle. Anymore than that is just obnoxious noise.

It's a different tone the stock tone sounds better IMO. Dump the 22s and put the 20s back on to get rid of that shit ride feel.
In person it’s a lot better. Much more rubble. The 22s ride great actually. Not harsh at all
Listen with good home speakers or earbuds. Not your phone's crappy little speaker. Makes a huge difference anytime you are listening to exhaust system noise.
